Does Dyer serve his one match suspension with the midweek league cup game?
Open ControlsRepost:
Are these good moves?
OUT: Gallas, Michu & Ba
IN: Baines, Pienaar & Fletcher
Thanks! 🙂Open Controlsalready have baines and pienaar so won't be getting afro but just curious, why is he becoming such an essential around here now? knee's jerking i'm assuming?
Open Controlswatching last few everton games he is a constant threat, and gets plenty goalscoring opportunties, and decent fixtures await
Open ControlsNo, he is a beast, the stats back up the visual displays.
Plus Jelavic is out so he should be definitely playing right behind the striker. Have you seen him play yet this season?Open Controlsseen him play vs man united and he did very well but i've had pienaar since gw 1 and was impressed with his displays down the left as well
Open ControlsPienaar is pretty smokin too but the stats say Fellaini, PLUS he's got a head like an 1984 microphone so it has to be him unless Pienaar loses the braids!
If I had Pienaar I wouldn't be swapping, I just bought Fellaini 10 mins ago but I only had Baines beforehand.Open Controls
I actually think Pienaar will outscore him over the season. But I brought in Fellaini in myself mostly because he is on good form, they have good fixtures, and due to Jelavic's injury he is likely to be a goal threat in the short term.
Also, he will rise 0.2 more this week.Open Controls
Lot of people talking of dropping hazard it was only a few weeks ago everyone was playing wildcards to get him in
Open ControlsNeed your help
I'm about to triple up on everton with this transfers:
Demel out - Baines in
Hazard out - Fellaini in
I already have Pienaar, but this is the only way of having ivanovic and baines together.
What do you think? thanksOpen ControlsIs Dyer suspended for this GW?
Open ControlsNope, serves his ban mid-week in the Rumbelows Cup.
Open ControlsSee above, his suspension will burn out in the midweek Cup game.
Open Controlscheers guys, great news! for now.....probably benched anyway tbh ha!

Shelvey reacts angrily to his red card:
https://twitter.com/BBCSporf/status/249859662541897730/photo/1Open ControlsAnyone of these transfers worth doing?
A) Barfa -> Peanut
B) Barfa -> FellatioOpen ControlsOK, DeadZoners - I did something I have *NEVER* done before - transfered early.
Lennon out, Fellaini in.
I hope I don't get burned by injuries, etc. I usually wait until late Friday night before I do my transfers, but wanted to save 0.2.Open ControlsSensible, with the volatility of the prices these days you have to take the odd risk.
Open Controls
Is it time to consider re-allocation of budget?
2-3 attacking DF + 5 big hitter MF + 1 big hitter FW and 2 mid-price FW
You then play 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 to reflect fixture difficulty.Open ControlsI don't know. I would personally wait to see how the RvP / Tevez rotation situation shakes out.
I would still be scared not to have RvP on my team.Open ControlsHe'd be most teams expensive pick
Open Controls
What 5 big hitting midfielder's would you get? I would consider Pienaar/Fellaini to be an essential mid priced midfielder.
Open ControlsSorry for saying it unclear. I actually mean big in performance and i also count MF in 7m bracket into the mix, so Pienaar/Fellaini, Michu, and Ben Arfa could be part of the big hitter MF.
Open Controls
Interesting thought, I think we'll see how the tevez situation develops, if you got him for 9 mil he's worth holding to, today was rarity, he'll start most games
Open ControlsAs you seem to be a Citeh fan would you expect him to start next week prior to the Champions League game?
Open ControlsI reckon he starts away at Fulham. City have dropped a lot of points already and Fulham are a tough team at the Cottage. I don't think Mancini has enough faith with Dzeko / Balotelli. I can see both Tevez and Aguero starting.
Open ControlsYe I'm a fan of the champions of England
It's difficult to say for one specific game but I expect Tevez to start the majority of gamesOpen Controls
Who did Mancini usually play in CL last season? Balotelli?
I really hope to see Tevez back in starting team next week.Open ControlsAs far as I can remember we played Aguero+ Balotelli/dzeko in every game
Open Controls
I still think you need to keep 2 big FW, at least 9.0m, in order to be able to readily replace like for like. Podolski & Suarez (and Aguero) could get hot real fast over the next few, and if you have cheap strikers it makes it a necessary double transfer. I'm happy to bench my 4th mid each week.
Open Controls*5th mid
Open ControlsI see what you mean, Don, and also agree that tactic will give more flexibility for the move. Not much interesting choices in that price bracket though. Most obvious choices are priced between 6m - 8m now.
Open Controlsyeah, that's cold hard fact right there: Tevez & RVP have been thoroughly shown up by the mid priced forwards these past two GWs. I'm not ready to reallocate their funds though, just yet.
I suppose its only 2 transfers though to go this route then switch back...Open Controls
if i was on a wc then yes. would it work with rvp as the 1 big hitter or would rvp have to be downgraded?
something like this:
baines, rafa, ivan/cole
hazard, hba, pienaar, caz, michu/bale/kags
then not sure which 3 forwards i'd go withOpen ControlsI'd keep RvP as the one as we see no interesting MF from united camp yet. (Kags still not look so convincing). Berbatov gets one place. And the last one for Lambert or Fletcher. Leaning to Lamb for his form.
For now, I'd be preferred Yaya over Hazard. HBA to be Michu on Gw7.Open Controls
Another bad week, captained Haz, was between him RVP and tevez so not too bad in that respect, but I didnt have many of the players that did well this week, Baines, Fellani, Nolan
Stick or twist with Graham?Open ControlsWell...you have waited this long, you might as well give him a chance over the two tasty home games coming up.
But with Lambert at the same price and on such great form, that would be tough to do.Open Controlstwist
Open ControlsLambert over Fletch?
Open Controlstough one fletcher for next gw but think lambert good be better over the longer term
Open Controls
a) yaya to fellaini
b) hazard to fellainiOpen Controlsc)
Open Controlscant do c) im afraid
Open Controlsyou want baines, not fellaini 😉
Open Controlson board since gameweek 1 wit baines he is a classact, think fellaini is a most in the short term but cant decide who to drop for him, and likely he will rise again tonight
Open ControlsGreat start aflickering (tom). Dead zone leader thus far... nice work.
Baines AND fellaini IMOOpen Controls
I'd go with c) - I wouldn't lose either Yaya or Eden
Open Controlsother mids are caz nolan and maloney, but by using maloney or nolan it would involve 2 swaps therefore a 4 point hit, and maybe losing tevez
Open Controls
If I had to choose, Hazard. RDM needs to fine tune his MFs and face difficult fixtures.
Open Controlsi have had hazard for the past 2 weeks wit no return just feel if i drop him he will return big like his first 3 matches!! tough decision
Open Controls
best goalkeeper for 5.5 please for the next 4 or 5 games?
thinking of Howard but already have Baines, you think I should double the risk or go with Jussi or Foster also keeping in mind I have no bench goalkeeperOpen Controlsfoster

TW I posted a reply to your question last page... the options aren't brilliant defensively.
Open Controls2 from Noble, Dyer, Morrison to play next gw?
Thinking Dyer and MorrisonOpen ControlsMonitor the injury situation around Pablo Hernandez and decide.

Fellaini VS Pienaar
My view is Fellaini can be more explosive, but he relies on the brilliance of others for his goals. He's not exactly a natural goalscorer. I mean he is brilliant but I'm just thinking long term Pienaar is better value.
It's worth noting all 3 of Fellaini's goals have been headers. First from a corner from Gibson, second from a cross by Jagielka and third from a set piece cross by Baines. He is an incredible threat from set pieces and in general with his strength he does well aerially. But for the most part he is a tough centre mid who likes to go forward. Oh and by the way, his only assist was with the help of his hand.
Pienaar on the other hand, has assisted 3 goals, and he had another assist that should have stood (Fellaini was called wrongly offside, which is ironic as this was scored with his foot) But it's clear to me that Pienaar is absolutely lethal with his vision and spotting players making runs. The other thing he has in his locker is he plays on the left and has a decent right foot. He's already scored a spectacular goal turning inside on to his right and should have had a few more.
Admittedly Pienaar is less likely to score goals, but I would say he is more likely to score goals from his natural ability as a player. Fellaini needs the quality of delivery to get the goals, which is of course in abundance in that Everton side. I just think however that Jelavic's return will decrease the amazing goalscoring rate Fellaini is on right now. There is no doubt though that Fellaini is clearly getting into the right positions but he can be wasteful and is not as I said a natural striker obviously. I'd be hesitant to call him an attacking midfielder but more an aggressive talented centre mid with an excellent ability to head the ball and be a target for crosses. But will this be so essential with Jelavic around? It's tough to say. He also needs to be extremely potent in his conversion rate for him to be worth having all season.
Thoughts?Open ControlsFor this week, I got Fellaini in and hope his goal threat to be continued over the good run of fixtures. Moyes should continue the things which still running good. His aerial ability cannot be replicate by any of toffee strikers, I believe, so he will continue as a target man for a big while.
Open ControlsI like your analysis. I actually agree with everything you say.
But, to put it simply, he is a man on form and they have the fixtures to allow him to prosper short-term. Over the course of the season, Pienaar will be the more consistent fantasy player.Open ControlsI agree with this assessment. Generally you could say Fellaini is the better short term pick and Pienaar the better long term pick.
Open ControlsWell spotted on the goals and assists.
Fellaini in the short term is indeed playing as central attacking midfielder, the question is how long this lasts. He was doing it even while Jelly was playing. I think GW might GW there for a while.Open ControlsBloody auto complete, GW = he!!!!
Open Controls
baines > pienaar > fellaini
are we even certain fellaini will stay in this current role, rather than being moved back deep?Open ControlsI'm covering all bases with Baines, Pienaar and Fellaini. These 3 will score very well over the next few GWs.
Open ControlsI think you said it exactly... Piennaar creates his points from his natural ability, and Fellaini simply gets in the right positions and is big enough and talented enough to do the job despite some wastefulness.
But i'd rather have the player who can miss 5 great chances for every 1 he scores (Fellaini) than the player who has to very skillfully craft each chance (Piennaar). That's a bit of an overgeneralization, but Fellaini is going to score from luck and skill, and so that combo wins it for me.Open Controlsgranted this only hold so long as Everton continue to collectively create 20+ chances per game, which they have been, and which is simply incredible
Open Controls
Repost from above to make things clearer. Which transfer is worth doing THIS GW?
A) Barfa -> Peanut
B) Barfa -> Fellatio
C) A Hole -> BainesOpen ControlsC)
Open Controls
Anyone captaining Baines? Have it on him at the moment but Southampton are no mugs up front
Open Controlsthe fact that i'm considering it is depressing in itself 🙁
Open Controlsim capping him 🙂
Open Controlsi have it on him at the mo, but there is abig chance the saints will score to be honest cant see a clean sheet for everton... armband slipping from baines
Open ControlsI am captaining RvP next week, again.
Open Controls
who should i bring in for graham? ba, defo, berb, fletch or lambert?
Open ControlsAshley Cole + DDG to Howard/Foster + Baines (c)
yes or no?Open ControlsFor a hit? Sounds good though.
Open Controls
Tevez - Ba?
Ivanovic - Baines?
1.7mill bank - No Hit?Open ControlsI would keep Ivanovic. Do you have another option to bring in Baines.
I also would not give up on Tevez just yet.Open Controls
Last question before I sleep (yeah I do).
Is there any way SAF could destroy me if I brought Rafael in this week? An alternative defender I don't know about? A superstition requiring Rafael not to play during October? Voodoo dolls?Open ControlsYes. SAF could destroy you.
Open ControlsSAF can always destroy you in terms of any player besides vidic. it's a risk you take when you get a mun player
Open ControlsWasn't Vidic rested today?
Open ControlsReportedly Vidic is on some sort of program which doesnt allow him to play every game. Cant imagine they would rest him vs Liverpool at Anfield!
Open ControlsNothing SAF does is unimaginable. I hadn't heard about this program though, strange. I would have thought then he would have been rested at home to Wigan so he can play away at Liverpool. Strange.
Open Controls
With the injuries plaguing Uniteds defence at the moment I'd say Rafael is a safe bet.
Open Controls
Just did Tevez+Guthrie -> Ba + Sterling. Ba is on form, Tevez looked sort of slow yesterday, and I don't like having strikers that rotates.
What is up with Sterling getting -1 on the EA SPORTS PPI? I thought he was one of the best players on the pitch, the score should probably try to reflect that.Open ControlsI need to get rid of one of the big boys to get baines in but not sure who!
Hazard or Tevez?Open ControlsNeither.
Open ControlsIvanovic > Baines ?
Open ControlsNay. It depends on when you got Ivanovic. If I could have both Baines and Ivanovic, I would, but I missed out so Ivanovic is too expensive for me to buy now. Chelsea look solid at the back.
Open ControlsAgreed, thats why i was looking at replacing one of the big boys to get banies and ivan in as i got 2 FT. But if i Transfer out Yay/Haz or Tev i could miss out on big points! So not sure where to go....
Open Controls
I notice most teams dont hold spurs players. I can understand the Bale story Im like the rest had him for 3 gameweek then sell after that kapoowww he did average 9 points in last 2 games.
Is it worth revisiting Bale again now? Thinking ship Dembele for him. Even if not because of Dembele is Bale nailed on?
Thanks guys.Open ControlsHow should i use my FT
A) Trade out DDG
B) Trade out Guthrie
C) Trade out Tevez for Aguero/Other
D) Trade out Lescott for Ivanovic/BainesOpen ControlsStupid twats at the Liverpool match today. I use the word twats lightly and not Utd fans, as I know though the group looks sizable today, they in no way represent the majority of united fans.
After all, majority of united fans probably don't even know the offside rule 😉 (I keed, I keed)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_uLFvJwfrc&feature=youtu.beOpen ControlsCould BerbaBA & VP be the new holy trinity going forward? It seems Mancini has a big eye on the CL at the moment, and fair enough too as they have a really tough group. Forward rotation is inevitable, thoughts?
Open ControlsThe good thing is that there are many forwards on form right now, so I don't think there is a set three. Lambert and Fletcher are viable options. Lukaku is a fair punt. And Defoe is scoring freely.
Open ControlsThe weakest in the link is Ba which the spot for transfer for fantasy managers. Imo city forwards kun/tevez are still relevent. Theory that playing more CL will open for rotation risk is a weak relationship. By right bigger games warrant more often appearence that is to keep form.
Open ControlsYes but the bigger games at the moment are CL games. City have an easy run of PL fixtures coming up where Mancini may be happy to rest Tevez on the Bench to work around CL games. Sure he will still start many PL games but you would think he will start every single CL game at the moment. It'd be a big workload to start all the PL games as well.
