Better late then never. In truth, there’s nothing comfortable about this one. We had some nightmarish technical issues that had me tearing at my receding hairline tonight but, we got it done. Just.

The route of the problem was a change of scenery, as Granville and I resorted to staying on home territory to record this latest episode. There was a chance it would end in tears; it almost did.

It is, at least, a bumper episode, with just over 45 minutes of myself and Granville grumbling amidst the regulars on Wednesday evening. With his three point lead at the top of our mini-league, the fact is I couldn’t bear to face my Mancunian rival to discuss the merits of an early wildcards versus points hits, lament the demise of Carlos Tevez and chat about Granville’s night attire.

    Ah this Tevez situation is soo annoying. I can see him burning me if i get rid. Plus everyone else in my league has him, i am leading so there is no real reason to get rid other than the flair points if the transfer pays off.

      I think Berba and Lambert look good for consistent returns all season and offer great value. That's why i've ditched him, and will invest in mids who are starting to pick up in form.

      You should have taken it on the chin. Worse comes to worse hell get rested for this upcoming match. But did you see the fixtures they have afterwards? 9.0 Tevez is a bargain beyond belief.

      If either of those two sites have players above 95% to anything then they're a risk for rising/falling. He'll DEFINITELY fall tomorrow anyway so you might as well decide now, or just gamble. Worst case scenario you lose 0.1

    Can't decide between Hangeland or Tevez in my starting 11 this weekend. Fulham good at home and City not looking great, but all it takes is one city goal and Hangeland is a 2 pointer. If I play Tevez and he comes on and does nothing it's 1 point, but he could easily do summat. And if he doesn't even play Hangeland will come on anyway...

    Think I've just answered myself and I'll play Tevez but any other opinions would be good.

    You know what would be great? If the FPL site had a place to keep up to date with mini league transfers so you know what have been the most popular buys and sales without trawling through teams. I'd love to know who and how many now own(s) Baines as his % is still below 20 and I'm pretty sure non of them use FFS or the like. I can't stand it when I am happy with a differential then find out he's actually more popular in my mini league than I initially thought.

      I loved my differential of Fellaini at the begging of the season. 5% ownership I think. Probably the best pick I've ever made at the start of a season ha. Unfortunately every man and his dog now has him, although no one in my mini league yet ha.

        It's great that none in your ML have him hehe 😉 I'm sticking with Pienaar and Baines now. I'll never break my rule of team selection by tripling up on attacking assets (Baines counts as a MF too surely XD).

          My best differentials have been VP (got him right before hat trick and captained him last GW) and Michu though I only have FFS to thank for the latter!

          Now everyone has Michu in my ML and won't drop him, I'm sure he's going to score well in the next 3 weeks too :/

    I'd really love to go for Nelsen in my WC but I know he's not first choice...Ferdinand and M'bia are likely to play CB's for QPR right? I'm afraid I might have to go with the safe option of Gorkss...it's a plus that he looks like he can score goals but I feel QPR at home would be a good source of CS despite their poor performances at times...maybe I'm paying too much attention to their CS against Chelsea...I just would rather play Nelsen than Gorkss if I HAD to. Thoughts?

        I believe Tesco may be doing the get FIFA for £25 when you buy X amount of Microsoft points. Works out at £45 but you get much more for your money if you regularly use your Xbox online. I work at Asda in Bury and my mate at the 24hour store says it is selling quick. He's gonna put one to one side for me ;). Plus I get my discount.

          Nice one! If they did the same deal but with PS3 currency (never used it before) I'd def buy it and trade in my pre ordered one to CEX provided they pay me enough which I'm sure they will (£38 pre order). You can use PS3 points or w/e on FIFA ultimate team right?

            I think Microsoft points are used more for buying other games and such. So essentially it's like getting a £20 voucher to download another game. As for whether you can spend these on unlocks in FIFA I'm not sure. I'm a PC gamer myself I only have two games for my xbox ha. As for the PS3 I have no idea what system they use sorry. And I'm not 100% sure on that deal btw it's just what I've heard. They did it last year apparently.

          ^this. I seriously enjoy the gameweek and the football in general so much more when I've done a good gamble. Transferred out Torres for Suarez this week and captained him. Think only one other person in my mini league might have Suarez coz he's a Liverpool fan but the rest of us are all mancs so pretty sure no one else will have done that transfer. Que 1 pointer ;).
