Surely the Reading Fulham bonus is just a lottery..... anyone could get it....
Open ControlsBaird worth getting in?
Open ControlsI mean, I said this two weeks ago and Baird promptly scored two goals but: I'd rather have nailed on Hughes for only .1 more.
Open ControlsMOTD comparing him to Dempsey in his role at fulham. Realistically he had couple good games but he isn't nailed on once fulham get their full quote of mids fit.
Open Controls
strange as it may sound as my rival has him, i wish Defoe had got that goal, not Clint.
Open ControlsOk.. Since Chelsea will face Shakhtar next week for the ucl i think Di Matteo will rest Hazard and Mata because if they lose against Shakhtar Chelsea would basically be out of the Ucl.
Haz has played almost everysingle minute with Chelsea so I think thats other reason why he may rest against swans.Open ControlsChelsea have Capital One Cup on Weds, perfect chance to rest key players

I need to get rid of podolski ! Who wouldnbe best candidate for a straight swap ! Already got ba !
Open Controlsberbatov jelavic

Cost not being primary concern, who is a better 5th mid, Pienaar or HBA?
Open ControlsNeither of those players should be a 5th mid
Open ControlsTough, but Pienaar. Cost is always a concern though!!
Open ControlsWhy on earth would pienaar be a 5th midfielder. A 5th midfielder should be 5m and below in my opinion
Open ControlsThis, unless you have Pog.

Thoughts on Newcastle...
They come across as quite an attacking team but the more I observe it seems like they generally thrive off keeping it very simple and hoofing it up to their forwards to latch onto whatever they can. Ba works perfectly with this style as he is an opportunist and his balance and strength means he can pounce onto balls into the box and score from out of nowhere. HBA gives them that extra outlet because he is actually the one who can run at defenders and offers something different with his pace and skill with the ball at his feet.
It's interesting the way they seem to play differently when the 4-3-3 is deployed. HBA becomes way more crucial and it alters their style a lot. When playing 4-4-2 it seems like HBA's talents go to waste a bit as he is out on the wing on his own and not far enough forward to influence the game as much. And he's not your typical winger who likes to cross the ball...he prefers cutting inside and is generally more selfish. I think Cisse works best with that 4-3-3 style as things open up a bit but Ba actually works better when balls are being played over the top and through the middle so he can bully defenders.
It's pretty obvious that playing Ba out on the left in a 433 last year basically killed off his scoring ability as he simply could not do what he was doing before or what he is doing now. Cisse and Ba are so much different in their style and how they score goals. I think the main reason Pardew has preferred Ameobi lately has been for tactical reasons as much as Cisse being off the boil. Ameobi can do the dirty work while Ba latches onto whatever scraps he gives him. Cisse however does not possess the strength to do a job like Ameobi does. In a sense, you could argue that Ba and Cisse (when played together) almost nullify eachothers strengths. Or at least they never seem to work all that well in tandem. They're both opportunistic and equally deadly if you give them even an inch.
Anyway, what a ridiculous rant...Open ControlsDude, feck that, i'll read that in the morning. I'm going to sleep.
Open ControlsI think you just sent to bed half of the FFS community with this post
Open ControlsMyself included... 😀

HBA hasn't provided many points for FF recently though, am thinking of transferring him out
Open ControlsNewcastle overperformed last season , most of their players, with the possible exception of Ba began the season overpriced.
Have yet to have a black and white striped shirt in my squad this seasonOpen Controls
Some BAPS should only be out tommorow... good night everyone
Open Controls*So
Open Controls
Right, might do Riise>Hughes and then I could afford HBA to either Valencia(2.5% ownership) or Mata
Open ControlsUnless you have Hazard or plan to get Oscar, Mata looks irresistible. Valencia hasn't shown enough goal threat to be a good prospect yet.
Open Controls
RMT:
Foster Begovic
Cameron Baines Cuellar Demel Davis
Mata Pienaar Cazorla Sterling Nolan
RVP Tevez Berbatov
Planing to do Nolan to Morison. Thoughts?Open ControlsWhat's the Mata Chelsea fans? U look Terryfied. Did you Cech the score? What? United end their Luizing streak at the Bridge? Thats a Hazard.
Open ControlsI'm about to do Gervinho-> Morrison before Morrison rises. The Ba injury can be dealt with for a -4 (maybe if Ba is out) but Gervinho has to go NOW.
Defence issues: such as Gunter, Demel, Davies can all wait...the points are in the front 7 atm.
Guthrie is another problem but he can also stagnate til winter WC.
No Mata for me for a little bit longer.Open Controlsdid price rise? last time they slow to update baps
Open ControlsAfter watching highlights I think the rvp v rooney conundrum is made up in my mind. RVP could have easily had a hatrick and is looking unstoppable. Can captain him every week from gw11 through 15. Rooney's an inconsistent prick of a captain.
Can anyone that watched the match proper make an argument for rooney?Open ControlsNever understood why there was a conundrum in the first place. Rooney sits deeper in away games and generally as a midfielder. At home he may support rvp against the smaller sides but generally will come deeper again.
Open Controlsthe conundrum is just in my mind. Not sure what others are thinking but I was just looking for a way to get a utd attacker without ruining my team. Without rvp everyone's been chipping in for me but captain is always a dilemma.
Open Controls
I think in away games RVP is always going to look more of a threat. Rooney has so much more duties to perform...Home games are a bit different as Man Utd's dominance makes it easier for Rooney to be more of a threat up top. That's it in a nutshell really. I'm sure there's a better way to analyse it.
Open ControlsYeah suppose so. No doubt rooney will do well over the season and won't be far off Van Persie. It's the captain consistency that's swinging me though.
Open Controls
I have (C) RVP since GW3. I have not been dissapointed!!!!
Open Controlsnice 🙂 I captained him gw2, sold him gw3 😐
Open Controls
RVP is so much more dangerous with Young and Valencia on the wings.....Welbeck totally ruins his mojo!!
Open Controls
Jussi (Fed)
Cuellar A.Cole Demel Ridgewell Clyne
Hazard Santi Pienaar Sterling Nolan
RVP Tevez Berba
One FT -0.4 in bank
Which transfer first?
A) Hazard to Mata (to free up funds)
B) Fed to Bego (Exact cash for this, must do it now)
C) Santi to Bale (means no ARS coverage)
D) Leave it.
