Birmingham City seem set to face an unlikely “Treble Gameweek” following the confirmation that their clash at with Everton at Goodison, postponed from Boxing Day, has been rescheduled for February 23.

This would appear to place the fixture in Gameweek 27 – a programme that begins on February 12. Birmingham already have a double fixture in this Gameweek, with two “attractive” home games against Stoke and Newcastle on February 12 and 15 respectively…

The trip to Everton currently depends on Birmingham’s progress in the Carling Cup, should they make it past West Ham to the final, the Goodison clash would move to March 9, handing them a double in Gameweek 29; they are set to face West Brom at St Andrews in this Gameweek. Qualifying for the final will however also mean the postponement of Birmingham’s Gameweek 28 fixture away at Chelsea, giving them a blank on the schedule (so that’d be two doubles sandwiching a missing week). Not the worst one to miss but a situation that needs keeping an eye on.

Fantasy Managers need to stay alert then – while Birmingham have been far from a reliable source of talent, three fixtures in a single Gameweek would surely make their assets irresistible, with Ben Foster and the likes of Scott Dann and Liam Ridgewell looking particularly attractive at the back. Further forward we would need to be wary of rest and rotation – finding an attacking player likely to turn out for all three games would be tricky, but certainly “Bonus darling” Barry Ferguson will be on the Watchlist ahead of Gameweek 27 and perhaps David Bentley, a potential new arrival this week, may also attract some early attention.

We should point out that although the Premier League have confirmed the date of this fixture – the Fantasy Premier League game is yet to place the rescheduled game. A reshuffle of the Gameweeks looks unlikely, although it may well be something the FPL are considering. We will update you via the tweets as soon as confirmation is in place.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Has anyone traded this week & bought Fabregas just to avoid any price change? Will he play in the Carling Cup or is it safe to get him in now?

Surely there's no way he'll play against Ipswich!

After what Chelsea did to them Wenger will no doubt play the first leg with basically the reserves, can always bring in Fabs etc for the second leg if they need a 7-0 win...

The fact that he was initially rested on sat makes me think wenger aimed to start him tomorrow? I brought him in after the city game to avoid Cahill dropping but I will be nervous tomorrow night!!

    Wc team:
    Foster Begovic
    Coleman Hangeland Evatt Rafael Djourou
    Nani Vdv Adam Fabs Nasri
    Dzeko Carroll tevez
Thinking Carroll to Odem until carroll is back and i'm going to bring in Berba next week for one of Tevez/Dzejo.
    Think its pretty solid.
    Thoughts?

Every man and his dog is posting RMT's so thought I'd jump in. I'm pretty set on this team and every time I try to improve it I hit a dead end. So feel free to point out the weaknesses, cause I can't see any. Bar maybe no lamps but I can always downgrade a striker later on to make funds.

Hughes and alracaz will be swapped after the dgw for defenders with doubles later on. Prob Dawson and another maybe Stoke or WBA defender.

    Anyway what do you think?

    Foster, Jaaskelainen

    Alcaraz, Coleman, Rafael, Hughes, Djourou

Adam, Nani, Brunt, Fabregas, Van der Vaart

    Tevez, Van Persie, Berbatov

It's not whether he has it that is important, the reason it is a spinning top is to see if it behaves normally and falls over or not.

That said, try playing that wake up song and splashing water on her face while telling her that you were right and see how long before your head stops spinning.

The last time any statistical analysis was done on this subject was in 2001 by Manchester Metropolitan University

          Here are the findings,

Manchester United had 27,667 season ticket holders

Manchester City had 16,481 season ticket holders

Manchester United had 7,808 season ticket holders resident in Manchester postal codes (M1-M46)

Manchester City had 6,678 season ticket holders resident in Manchester postal codes (M1-M46)

So 29% of Manchester United Season Ticket holders were resident in Manchester Postal Codes, 40% Manchester City ST holders were resident in Manchester postal codes

In conclusion Manchester United had more ST holders living in Manchester postal codes (1,130 more), but its more likely that a Manchester CIty ST holder would come from Manchester

At lost has changed since 2001, City have moved to the City of Manchester Stadium and Manchester United have almost doubled the number of Season Tickets.

Lol, did he really say that?

      Instant hero, he's in.

Most importantly , Parker plays for West Ham..if he's in any way tired or lethargic this weekend, Cesc will conquer Upton Park (14 points)

Don't know whether to go for him or Berba...I still don't think RvP has hit any sort of form whatsoever...but he'll still dominate set-pieces. Might go for Berba because of next week's double.

    Foster / Stockdale
    Djourou / Bardsley / Coleman / Rafael / Kolarov
    Adam / Nasri / Nani / Lamps / Ferguson
    RVP / Wingie / Berbs
