We came up short last week. The combined failures of Theo Walcott, Adel Taarabt and Shane Long found Paddy clawing back some of our previous winnings, heaping some extra pressure on us this time around. With a double Gameweek up our sleeve and diminishing profits, it’s time to think big…

We start with a home banker. Michu’s form is just irresistible right now: the joint top leading scorer in the Premier League, he’s in the Picks and surely in thousands of Fantasy lineups going into the home clash with Norwich. Paddy are offering a slim 9/2 on a Michu goal with a Swansea clean sheet against the Canaries and that’s more than good enough to draw the bulk of our £10 stake money – Paddy can have a fiver of us.

Rickie Lambert is another goalscorer who goes into this weekend strongly backed. He’s up against a Reading defence who has suffered severe leaks and, generally, Southampton look good for goals from the St Mary’s meeting. Lambert showed wiling at Anfield without finding the net but, with spot-kicks and a plethora of midfield talent behind him, we like the look of Lambert to notch against the Royals. Paddy have 6/1 on a Lambert goal with a Southampton cleanie and we will flutter another £2 their way on this.

Now it’s time to lengthen the odds. Stephane Sessegnon is carrying the Fantasy armband for many this weekend, with two home fixtures in his locker to compensate for Sunderland’s stuttering form. With Sessegnon so strongly backed by our Fantasy selections, we just had to test Paddy’s resolve on the Benin international’s chances of coming good against Chelsea. They’ve come up with odds of 25/1 on a Sessegnon goal against the Blues, combined with a Sunderland clean sheet. It seems a long-shot but that suits us – we’ll put another £2 on this and hope, like so many others, that our double Gameweek risk comes in.

That leaves just a solitary shekel for the final bet – our usual treble. Once again Paddy’s odds are big here but the potential looks tempting. Paddy are dangling odds of 33/1 on a Marouane Fellaini goal against Spurs, a Dimitar Berbatov assist against Newcastle and an Aston Villa clean sheet at home to Stoke. Could those stars possibly align for us? With just a quid laid down, we ‘re happy to have a punt.

Well if I had him I would do it. Fit or no fit with him always there is the risk earning a 1pt, and he injured after 30min. If u can handle that do it.
