    so i have 3.5 in the bank, and not sure what i should do. after rafael got subbed off last gw, i decided to wait one more gw to see, and luckily i kept faith and got 9 pts from him. i originally planned on taking him out, but obviously not anymore. i just don't see where i can spend the money other than cuellar -> baines. i don't want to trade out bale because i got him at 9.3, and i believe he will be back in 2 gw at most. so where do you think i should spend the 3.5?

        with kompany's injury, surely he is nailed on, with toure and lescott being rotated. i heard lescott may even go out on loan in january, so surely that makes him even more nailed on. and yes, tremmel does need to go, but i am keeping an eye on ruddy's injury and will bring in bunn to replace him. nelsen can wait as he's at least going to play.

            well the only CB other than kompany and nastasic are toure and lescott. and even when they were fit, they were constantly rotated and in some cases, not even played at all. when nastasic was playing that long run of games of 6, city kept 5 cs. is there something i've missed about nastasic being a rotation risk? i just don't see it with lescott and toure being the other options.

        i decided to keep walcott based on the fact that arsenal have better fixtures, and chelsea's blank next gw. but i will definitely be watching mata and chelsea and see if walcott -> mata is a transfer that i need to make. and i think nastasic is a good bet. do you see GJ getting more pts, or worried of nastasic's playing time? because if he's nailed on, surely city will keep more cs than liverpool.

          i agree keep tabs on mata and dont take the risk with nastasic, i'd go with gj nailed on gets forward time and time again + good fixtures and liverpool's defence have improved with the return of lucas and reina.

            that is true, and i am also a liverpool fan myself so things are definitely looking good. however, at 6.3, i think he is a little steep in terms of price. and surely, city will tighten up soon. i just don't see how nastasic will be rotated with lescott or toure. if however, nastasic is rotated even once in the next 3 gw, i will definitely consider GJ.

              Fixtures are great and GJ is basically playing as a right winger that cuts in.

              I had him earlier in the season, sold after the Newcastle game. Brought him back this week for a hit, luckily it paid off with that goal.

                there's no doubt he's going to get pts, i just don't know if i can pay 6.3 for him, when nastasic (if nailed, but i guess that's the concern) is only 5.5 who plays for city.

          yeah people do a good deal of the time but I think it's a bad idea personally. though I guess i've had a nonplaying 5th mid for a while as I was stuck with marveaux for a long while and then i've had maloney out injured for a few weeks now

    Anyone considering Bassong despite Norwich's difficult fixtures from GW 18 onwards - West Brom (A), Chelsea(H), Man City (H), West Ham (A), Newc(H), Liv (A), Tott (H). He's playing well and his price is shooting up but those fixtures (bar GW22 - Newcastle) are really hard...

              4 teams guaranteed CL and 6 europa per league. then another 26 teams from across all 6 leagues qualify for one or the other. so i guess you could look at it that way. but those 26 teams can also come from scouts or others not in the leagues though most likely they will be from the leagues but we'll have to see

              wait hold up i think the math is wrong. i think set B should only be 12 teams not 18

      same here. he's been away on some sort of a trip recently (not sure if vacation or a business trip) I believe. before that he's been around, just not as much as before

      you know who else I miss? fuzzy! haven't seen him around in ages.
      not to mention I miss seing ENR, pratik, udit on here more often
