As we close on a century of episodes it was time to freshen things up and bring new voices to accompany my drone and that of grumpy Granville. In this weeks’ episode, we draft in both “Professor” Chris Atkinson and his “Rate My Team” computer, plus long-time community member and contributor, Jonty, for a new ScoutCast regular.

Don’t worry, the usual format remains intact although, having recorded this just minutes after last night’s whistles, Granville escapes the usual mini-league grilling. Not surprisingly, there’s plenty of “Granny’s miffed” to endure, plus “All Aboard” and the weekend preview. That’s’ rounded off by the “Full Jonty” a brand new feature that will bring you, the community, into our weekly ramblings.

Is Suarez really worth pushing the boat out for over the dgwk? I'm guessing the answer is going to be yeah but it is so much more hassle free to bring in Sturridge!

Have to downgrade Gibbs to a 4.9 defender for Suarez. With Sturridge I can go for G.Johnson in for Gibbs (No hit)

  im in same boat , can get suarez but it complicated and costs 4 points. Can get sturridge much easier for free.

So BBC put up a list of what they think are the biggest transfers of the day, they include Gomes to Hoffenheim, and Jenas to QPR but ignore Emanuelson to Fulham. Maybe I'm biased but it seems like a much more interesting move than them.

Is it worth an extra -4 to have Suarez instead of Sturridge?

We know Sturridge is nailed on for both in the DGW, but we have only faith with Suarez. Reassure me?

    It depends if you leading or chasing.
    
    I would say that 4 points over two games , where the player is captain is fairly immaterial.
    If Suarez scores big and Sturridge dosent you could lose 40 points and thousands of places
    
    If sturridge scores big you wont drop nearly as much as most will be on suarexz

      This is a really helpful point and something I was not thinking about. I am really just trying to consolidate a decent position, so Suarez makes a lot more sense. As you say, 4 points is nothing really.

A: GW25 Zab > GW26 Enrique or GJ > GW27 back to Zab
B: GW25 Enrique or GJ > GW26 Save FT > GW27 Zab and another FT to field 11.

  It's unlikely he'll play LB, We've got Riise(although out of favour), Richardson and Briggs there. I'd expect him to take Kaca's place because he's lost his way a bit. If Urby was classed as a defender that'd be nice though..

      Have the WC activated and considering the same thing. My query is whether or not it would be viable to have both Michu and De Guzman for the DGW, or if De Guzman becomes a serious Michu differential, presuming the more attacking role he is now likely to take up for the remainder of the season?
      
      I quite like the idea of a fixture rotation of budget MIDs - Cabaye has looked bang-on form since returning from injury. Le Toon's fixtures looking great from GW27
