      Are you getting RVP or Rooney for GW30 though?

      I was looking at Bego > DDG as well, but Lindegaard needs 2 more appearances for a medal(apparently you need 10).. or something like that.

        How many matches must a player have appeared in to receive a league-winning medal?

        - Players are required to have made 10 appearances in a club's first team to qualify for a medal.

        - Clubs must submit an application for additional medals to be awarded to players who have not reached this tally.

        ugh. that don't sound good. as i've gone down the single keeper route which i never do. oh well maybe chesney then. possibly augment a united attacker with rafael. but as to which attacker i don't know. maybe rooney just so i can afford one or two decent defenders

    Got Bego in at 4.5M so will lose quite a few squid....does seem time to abandon the Stoke ship however.

    also considering the possibility of Shaw > Rafael ?

    Would be for a -4 hit....

      Hits for defenders rarely pay off. DDG seems a good bet though. Forget the cash lost on bego as it only matters if you actualise it and sell him. ie no point making the money if you never cash in.

        Ya, I'm right off taking hits.....middle of the season was a disaster. Slipped down to 790,000 place mainly due to chopping and changing players. Stopped the rot (and hits) and up to 80,000 now.

        I'll probably go with DDG......the games against Reading and Sunderland seem decent....

    Seen quite a bit of talk on Suarez being a big game player on here.

    Is he really though?

    The one teams he has ever scored more than 1 goal in a game against are

    Norwich, Wigan x2, QPR, Sunderland

    These are also the only times he has had double figures scores this season.

          those are good transfers. I honestly think losing 4 players for an 8pter is the best move for you. or just lose marv for a 4pter in additoin to the two transfers you already planned

              Benteke - playing Reading that should have conceded at least 5 versus EVE last week. They have only kept 2 CS all season and that was when everyone was having Xmas hangovers between 26-29 Dec.

                  TW - I have Lambchops as well this week.

                  I do fancy Lulu as well and there is a hell of a nice run of fixtures for Kone(30-33)...NEW/NOR/qpr/SWANS.... and Lulu(34-37)...NEW/south/WIG/nor

    bringing in sissoko and wilson...not sure which mid and def to get rid of, its between baines/onouha and fellaini/maloney

    Baines - frees up cash and allows me to bring in mata next week

    onouha - deadwood and not sure when else i will get a chance to get rid of him (esp with dgw's coming so will be wasting an FT in future)

    fellaini - dropping in price

    maloney - has good fixtures but since i don't think there is value in strikers so want to have good mid.

    For gw30 i am aiming a front 8 of:
    bale michu wally sissoko (one of fellaini and mata)
    sturridge rvp benteke

    benching issue agreed but there are bound to be injuries/bad fixture...the other option is to have 4 top mids and upgrade sturridge >> suarez

            Going to be a big call, as i'll probably captain whichever one i bring in out of Suarez or Benteke. Dont fancy LIV vs TOT to be a goal fest so maybe ill risk having no Suarez (gulp)

    Not Having Suarez last week cost me a lot.
    How many of you think Sturridge is a proper cover for Suarez or Should I plan something else to bring Suarez In?

      The only concern is will Sturridge start? Suarez will for sure, Sturridge might not, despite being fit.

      BR might want to start with same winning line up and ease Sturridge back in. That would be my only concern.

          I think holding the WC will be wasted as we are all preparing for DGWs anyway now and should know with enough time to maximise points.

            Say four teams (Arsenal, Everton, Utd & City) had a DGW in the same week, that is potentially 12 DGW players (with one on the bench)you could have!

            Realistically, so not to trash your team too much, most will go for about 6. Even with FT between now and then, most will struggle to get that.

            With a WC, you could get 8-9 DGW players and not trash the team that much as most you'll be happy with TI
            Seasons end.
