1. He's still got decent goal threat but he's just not putting his chances away. I'm not sure whether it's coincidence/bad luck and he'll start scoring again or if it's down to something else. I wouldn't be afraid to sell him
2. Another game, another blank, the temptation is to look to downgrade RVP, but I personally don't think there's much point. Who would you replace him with? A lot have targetted Rooney over RVP this week and got lucky with a huge deflection on Rooney's shot but RVP actually had a slightly better goal threat vs. Reading. You have Suarez so that's one less person to consider.
Looking at your team, Pog and Puncheon are priorities so I guess it's a question of how much money you have in the bank. If you can't get anyone decent for them, then you'd probably have to look at downgrading Mata or RVP.
What are your ideas?

I'm not really buying into that mate. It's possible but I think every game DDG can build on this form is important if he's to become a future great. Lindy has no future at the club. Just can't see it myself. Might be wrong...
is it possible that City Chelsea Fulham Wigan West Brom & Swansea all have DGW 36?
The DGW goalkeeping landscape is suddenly fraught with pitfalls.
Szczesney has seemingly lost his place, DDG surely won't start for the rest of the season given that Fergie has already started tinkering, Mucha could be FPL gold if Howard is out for a while, but it's not certain, and Al Habsi didn't play at the weekend.
We're left with Cech and Juusi, who despite the DGW, doesn't have the best fixtures ahead.
Who to target?
Wait a week and do Szczesney > Ruddy? I have Bunn so that could work.
I'd like a DGW keeper but I guess I might have to give up that dream!
I sold him for Szczesney in GW25 and it was going swimmingly until this week!

Realistically I want to invest some/all of that money in Puncheon > a DGWer.
I don't want to splash out that much on a keeper either! Juusi is looking like the best value at the moment (assuming Al Habsi is out of the question)
DDG still the best option. Agree on the risk but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he'll play both games. Maybe a DDG/Jussi combo to play safe, if you have the cash - they might even have separate DGWs, which would be even more of a bonus.
Can't justify spending 2 FTs on goalkeepers and tying up £11m on keepers.
Juusi is looking more and more like a good pick.

If i was gonna mess with keepers I'd just get DDG. Not gonna even consider messing with these other short term options.
Not worried about Fergie's tinkering? This is DDG we're talking about as well, it's not as though he's not been rotated in the past.
looks like he's the clear no.1 now and Lind will get his medal from being on the bench. I wouldn't use a FT to mess with keppers at this point unless both were injured/ out etc.
Perhaps the answer is go for defenders instead - unless you intend to fill every position with a DGWer of course.

Ah right. Yeah I was thinking from the point of view of switching keepers. Well, I'd keep szcesney for sure since he might come back in.
So find someone who rotates well with szcesney and also has a DGW. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if you have a keeper playing tough fixtures because if they play well these are the games they can rack up the save points.
That's true. I'm thinking Juusi might be a good pick for that reason.
I don't know if I'll keep Szczesney though because I can't realistically afford to have 2 keepers around the £5m price.

You're flirting with danger if you go any where near someone like jenkinson (or Monreal or fabianski). I think its more likely that Gibbs, sagna and chesny will get at least one game in the gw33 double.'I really don't see the point in even taking the risk.
For me Jenkinson is nailed on for the rest of the season. Sagna's performances are realy shete
I think you're using nailed-on in a different way to how most understand it.
To me it means that there's a very little/no risk that a nailed-on player won't play if fit. In other words, they're 100% likely to play every game when fit (or at least 99% likely).
Jenkinson is not nailed-on.
I did Federici -> Fabianski for this GW, think I will leave it like that for DGW (Fab and Waly). Have you thought about Michu -> Fellaini or maybe Davies -> Baines ? You should leave Sissoko, it's good NWC cover for upcoming period.

6th in the Doubles. Not a bad start.
Benching Townsend and Wilson were bad decisions, though.
Starting to get into some problems with my team due to injuries, players not playing and lack of funds. I have 0.4M in the bank. Evans and Harte aren't starting. Kebe and Federici are injured. Despite this I have been thinking of doing Mignolet->Fabianski so that I have the funds to do Michu->Cazorla for Arsenal's DGW.

Fab might not be no.1 for long and without a playing 2nd keeper i wouldn't take the risk. Might be worth saving your FT and re-evaluating next week with 2FT.

This is what I mean about him being something of a differential captain. A few weeks ago everyone would've captained him over suarez, now not so many.
Obviously it's all about opinions and my opinion is walcott has a better chance at home to reading than suarez does at villa.

Re DDG..
He does not have to play 10 times to get a medal. A player making 10 appearances get's one automatically, the club then can apply for others as they did for example (twice) with Tomasz Kuszczak who played 2 and 9 games respectively but still got a medal.
Of course this doesn't mean SAF won't rotate him anyway.... 😉
