We’re down to the last 16 in the Scout Members Cup after last weekend’s results. Rodallega Bombs, who knocked out Evs in the previous round, progresses once again, while Stevey Trader was the top scoring manager for the round with 53 points – all the more impressive, given he took an eight point hit.

Elsewhere, former winner Fuzzy Dunlop is still in with a shout, as is site regular Eunuch Jelly, after a 45 point haul in Gameweek 30. The draw for the next round is being sorted out behind the scenes – we should be rolling that out tomorrow or Thursday:

To rotate with someone? Or to last you the rest of the year? As you have Bunn and Chesney I'd guess it's the latter.

Despite their next fixture I'd go for Boruc, 4.4.

If Robles at Wigan nails it down he could be a good option, especially if they turn into their usual end of season mode.

    Hi All,

I'd just like to ask if you can rate this
    possible WC team:

    Mignolet, Schwarzer
Monreal, Shawcross, Wilson, Jose Enrique, Demel
Bale, Santi Cazorla, Lampard, Walcott, Townsend
    Suarez, Rooney, Benteke

Do you think it is worth it? (Team Linked).

Another option I was thinking about was getting
two goalies from one team (like Howard, Mucha as an example)
and avoid the inevitable year end rotation.

Generally my biggest concern with a wild card is if I
should play it now or if I should wait til W33, W36 or even
the last round. But I'm not sure if there is any gain
    in that.

I'm not sold on DDG being a solid starter til the end of the season. Especially once MU have the title confirmed it can be rotation galore.

I disagree with this. I personally think we'll sub on Lindegaard for his measly two games.

This team is ok, but you should definitely save it until GW33 or GW 36, just depending on the number of teams having a DGW.
If I were in your shoes I would save it and use it GW36.

I'm not fond of that I have to say. To me it doesn't give you enough time to fully take advantage of it.

Sounds reasonable. I guess its all about when the DGWs for some teams take place. At the moment I see the GW33 more highscoring than GW 36 but well anything can change.

Wilson is more than enough Stoke cover imo.
Personally I would go Monreal to Jenkinson/Turner or the like and swap Shawcross for Baines.

The rest looks good to me though I slightly prefer Berba over Benteke

What about buying Baines & Fellani directly for GW 33 + a third attacker instead of Suarez who might be on 10 yellows by then? Would cost -4 but for a DGW it could work.

    Hello FF fiends.

Please hazard a guess as to the situation with Federici. I understand he is out injured but due back for the next gameweek, but is that the only obstacle to his reinstatement to Reading's relegation-threatened rig?

I had assumed McCarthy would return to the starting XI last weekend but faith was kept with the long flowing locks of Stuart Taylor instead. Is his place in the team now assured or is the jersey still up for grabs even at this late stage in the season?

I was very impressed with what I saw of McCarthy earlier in the season, so who knows. I have Federici too and have simply decided it's too late in the season to be messing around with 2nd GKs. I'll just play Bego every week or perhaps change Bego to a DGWer.

Basically, if you don't already own him, I would avoid for sure.

If you do own him, may as well just hang tight subject to who your other keeper is.

    Mata - Michu - Bale - Walcott
    Rooney - Benteke - Suarez

    Bunn - Sissoko - Davies - Pearce

I'd save, team looks good for this week. If Suarez gets a yellow you might need to get rid of him as well, so better have the transfer handy.

I, like many, want to get some Arsenal cover, and Walcott and Cazorla appear to be the best choices. I've noticed that most on here are tending towards Caz. neither appear to be in great form, and both have hattricks against Reading this season. So on what basis is Caz being favoured?

I think it's because many have Walcott in their teams already, that's why you're seeing Cazorla mentioned more. Either, or preferably both, are great choices for the next few GWs.

      I think the reasons are
      1. Caz scored hatty in PL..
      2. they already hold Walcott.. they are doubling up on Arse attack..

Especially with the DGW looming I think it is a better option having them both than one of Walccott/Caz and Giroud/Podolski and most people tend to have either Walcott anyway.

If Noble is out for the season, is Nolan on pens when he comes back? Thinking of whether i should gamble on him or go without a WHM in the DGW. Any news on his injury wheter he will be back for GW 33?

I would lean towards Fab keeping his place for the forseeable - 2 clean sheets away to Bayern and Swansea is decent going, and I see no reason why Wenger would risk distrupting the momentum they seem to have gained.

I say this painfully as I still own Sagna, but will have to wait and see if he manages to dislodge Jenks before the DGW.

All this talk of Hodgson considering playing Carrick at Centre Back vs San Marino is just ridiculous.

I can understand he doesn't want to risk Lescott in that game due to him being 1 YC away from a ban that would rule him out of the Montenegro match, but he still therefore has Smalling, Taylor and Caulker to pick from.

It's San Marino FFS, if Hodgson can't bring himself to pick Caulker or Taylor to play vs them then why bring them into the squad at all?

I think Caulker could be a regular in future years and would definitely play him ahead of Carrick. Hopefully it's just paper talk.

He needs to think deeper...We are walking into a real centre back issue for the next world cup...With JT/Rio on the wane and Lescott amongst others unable to secure regular first team football we are suddenly looking quite thin in that area by this time next year...If we ever get there...I agree it's time for Caulker...and Shawcross...and any other decnt new blood..

Yeah...The price of RVP is now a liability and detremental to getting in the better DGW players, SAF would be foolish not to rotate now, which he isn't. Time for him to go even if he does score a few between now and seasons end.
