Sunday’s two matches get underway with a Selhurst Park encounter that finds Crystal Palace host Andre Villas-Boas’ Spurs. Two hours later, Chelsea start their double Gameweek with a home clash with Hull City as Fantasy mangers brace themselves for an avalanche of points.

The team news from Palace finds Ian Holloway keep the faith with much of the side that won promotion from the Championship. Holloway keeps the new boys on the bench, with Marouane Chamakh and Jose Campana in reserve while the likes of Aaron Wilbraham and Scott Dobbie are handed starts. New signing, Dwight Gayle, does get his Premier League debut up front, however.

Visitors Spurs are without Gareth Bale but can call on the services of Jan Vertonghen who is fit to line up alongside Michael Dawson in defence. Danny Rose gets the nod at left-back as expected. In midfield, Gylfi Sigurdsson looks to be starting in the Bale role, with Nacer Chadli given a debut on the left-flank. All eyes will be up front, however, as Roberto Soldado makes his first start following his £26 million move from Valencia.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open and will be available for those who fancy live chat during this match and into the tea-time clash at Stamford Bridge.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Trying desperately not to knee-jerk this year.

Waiting to see if a) Lukaku plays and b) Lukaku scores but thinking getting Lambert in would be a good move.

    Thoughts?

Looking at the sales, I'm starting to think it might be worth saving the transfer for this week. Greater flexibility for team restructure and perhaps pick up a few bargains.

lot of talk about Spurs not doing well and Palace defence keeping clean, even Soldado fail. 1/4 gone, just over, Palace may start to tire, Spurs will dominate more and by 70 mins things will really open up. Classic GW1 panic and insecurity.

What you said he true. Soldado is amazingly clinical but just like 95% of the deadliest strikers in the game they need to be fed chances or else reendered ineefective.

Thats why i skipped on him, spurs without Bale cant create for sh*t.

When he played for Ireland he was fairly under-rated. But since them and some average enough CBs, besides Rchie Dunne, he looks a good player.Good analysist, doesn't lapse into football cliches or get over-animated when doing co-commentary.

The whole team werent as poor as everyone makes out more caught in the headlights for me. West Ham will do ok this season and losing away wont be a terrbile thing but looking at City and EFC coming up if they have 0 points after 3 games it will be intresting to see if they can pick up from there or if they never get going.
