Merits of Silva ? I have him for the first three because of Cities excellent fixtures but is he a captaincy option ? He only got 6 goals in his good season and 4 the other two times. Goals are the biggest contributing factor towards bonus pts so is he worth keeping long term ?

I don't think Szczesny is completely awful, but I do think he can slack off really quite hard and it doesn't matter as he's never NOT going to be first choice until they sign another decent GK.
Even if they just had a better second choice to keep him on his toes it'd probably be good, as right now he can turn in absolutely crap performances like Saturday and know it really doesn't matter as he'll be starting against Fenerbache and Fulham.

At the moment that's a pretty nice team. But I think I'd need my Chelsea boys - Hazard, Oscar and Ramires - to net me some serious points to be able to afford the hit. Otherwise I could consider a 4 pointer, holding on to Anelka or Ramires instead of Mirallas or Benteke.
Then again, Benteke (liv) looks pretty good to outscore Anelka (eve) by 4pts and likewise Mirallas (WBA) looks pretty good to outscore Ramires (mun) by 4pts, so the hits might be justified.
8pt in gameweek 2 is where madness lies. Step away from the transfer button.

I've already knee-jerked Cahill out for Coleman as part of my Chelsea exit strategy... should I be overly concerned about anything at this stage?

Bit of an heads up concerning lukaku. I think you should keep him in ur team till after the man u game. I can see him starting against villa and the man u game. Torres will start in the supercup. Then u will have two transfers to use.
Long term: Sturridge or Sodaldo? No cover anywhere else.
sturridge atm... soldado later on... not sure because they were against stoke or what but sturridge and coutinho look really impressive... while spurs needs time...
