correct on both counts. if you're playing it, play it as early as possible so you can ride the points rises before deciding on your final 15.
so a lot will do this during the international break. play WC at start and over the long break try to increase team value as much as they can.

They will try and generally fail. The players who rise more than 0.2m will usually be players who are attracting consistent investment so you won't want to sell them later in the week. At best, it will give you the chance to pick a few players who are on the way up but get them at their bargain prices.

I keep fantasising over the prospect of Ronaldo returning to Old Trafford this season - as unlikely as it might be.. But if Rooney goes to Chelsea and Bale goes to Madrid it's not too implausible? Moyes has left the No.7 jersey free too..
I wouldn't look too much into squad number reserving, it seems he'll stay in Madrid for at least one more season.

Has anyone noticed that the bonus points were mainly awarded to defenders? Anyone reconsidering the generic formation of 343 and pay more for good defenders this year?

Aston Villa - Clark played no part in any of the goals and yet gets 1 bps
Fulham (Kasami goal, Duffy assist) Hughes and Hangeland take the bps
Saints (Lambert goal, shaw assist) Lovren takes away 3 bps
West Ham - OBrien and Reid take bps without playing part in any of the goals
Spurs - vertonghen and Dawson bps

I think a lot of that will have to do with getting points for high percentage of passes. It's easy for defenders to get this because they usually play short easy passes. Could be a plan.

I have faith in Mirallas and think he'll get more football but I don't wanna end up paying 5+ for a player knowing he was at 4.5 this week.

Why spend your first free transfer on Barkley? Far from nailed on and the 4.5m mid is hardly a key spot. This article also gives some useful information on him.

Looked at Hazard to Barkley but I think it's too jerky. I'm going to make the sensible move of M Olsson to Shaw instead I think - Shaw a better long-term bet and I like the Soton defence vs Sunderland this weekend. Already have Mirallas too.
