Fair play to those who went Dzeko.

    Ballsy, Ballsy, Ballsy.

He would be ideal for my Lukakaaaa replacement this week but.... I'm still not sure i have the kazoonaas to do it 😯 !

Lets see how this game goes 🙂

PS - Come on Zaba, no conceding goals please 😉

For the start of the season I opted for nailed on starters.

Lambert, Benteke and Soldado did just fine without the risk element.

I need it for a double transfer I am considering.

If he rises by 0.1m, I cannot afford it.

However, the later i can leave it the better.

This is in case of any injuries.

I'd simply suggest caution particularly with the blank coming as injuries will all appear on Friday. Less of a risk if you remove 2xDGW players and there's value in Shaw,

Wow - Neville & Carragher were absolutely scathing about Arsenal and Wenger.
Schezny - "arrogant", Koscielny - "careless", The Midfield - "weak", The supporters - "The only people over-paying at The Emirates".

Wenger is not gonna like that!

Possibly. Lukaku could get the nod against United, but you just can't tell. Dzeko could start if he hammers home a double or more, but what are the chances of that? And even then, long term so much rotation would probably ruin his chances.

"DAVIDE Santon’s set to miss Newcastle United’s season-opener at Manchester City – leaving Alan Pardew with a dilemma over who faces Jesus Navas.

The left back is short of fitness, and isn’t expected to be available for Monday night’s game at Eastlands.Versatile defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa can play at left back, while 21-year-old Paul Dummett is pushing for his Premier League debut."

Saw this on the ShieldGazette posted on the 17th. Didn't we get a whiff of this earlier?

    Carragher noob

Mert-Kos partnership is more solid than anything they have at Liverpool. Maybe he should look at the stats before before running his mouth..

Here is my theory on Lukaku and Torres.

Jose mentioned before the start of the season that players playing internationals would be assessed and the ones traveling long distances would most likely not play (like Mata for instance). Now, Torres didn't play for Spain or travel and had very little pre-season with the team. Lukaku played midweek for Belguim (almost entire game) and has had a big pre-season. Now, not to disrespect Hull (or their supporters) but that game could well have been another "pre-season" fixture for Torres. This explains his issue (in part) with his performance and also why Lukaku didn't start. Villa are now a tough opponent which makes me think he's gonna start. For Man U, cos of last season and pre-season and with Torres short on pre-season form/continuity/etc etc...I think Lukaku will start that game too.

I think Torres is probably viewed as the main striker for the club but his current position surely won't be compromised for the will of the team. Not now at least...as mentioned, just my theory and 2c to a topic we're all debating right now.

In terms of FPL...well the doubt over him means you can't rely on Lukaku at this stage and an "almost" or definite starter is what we need. But hey...it's only just the start of the season...fun and games already!

You can guarantee that if you do the Lukaku -> Dzeko move, Dzerko won't play hte next game and Lukaku will bag a brace.

It is how you english say the law of the sods

Thanks again Arsenal. You take my money, you break my heart, and then you fook up my FF team in new and exciting ways by bidding on Cabaye.
