In Tommy We Trust With Gameweek 3 now behind us, itโs time scour the statistics once again as we highlight the stars from last weekendโs round of matches. As many Fantasy managers are mulling over wildcards, we also incorporate some overall numbers from the season so far for your perusal and consideration.

Didnt absolutely need to use it, but hopefully I can push on even more now. It could work out either way. But I play this game first and foremost for fun. Just waiting to see what happens with Lukaku and Ba tonight, if they move elsewhere then it will be one of them in for Soldado and then upgrading a midfielder.

I can alternate to whatever.
Its by no means final because I may upgrade Whittingham and/or Brady if I downgrade Soldado before the next gameweek begins.
But I can play any variation of formation depending on fixtures.

Coutinho + Lambert -> Lampard + Sturridge (-4)
I think its sensible. Will wait and see what Coutinho does centrally with Moses coming in. He seems more effective goalscoring and assisting in central areas of the pitch. I had him in my team before the WC. But it could change before the next set of games begin. I might put him back in.
But those transfers look fine to me mate. But just be prepared to be let down from time to time, as both Coutinho and Lambert will score well. If you think Lampard and Sturridge will score more points.
Then thats what its all about!

Yes he will. Rodgers wants Coutinho central behind the front 3. Thats where he is most effective. Thats why he was looking for a left sided player in the front 3 all summer.
First he wanted Mkhitaryan for the central position. But when it fell apart, he switched his attention to putting Coutinho inside and buying a left sided player.
Who has walcott and giroud and feels like their team just gained a shedloads of future points?

I have both - with Arsenal unlikely to get a striker, Giroud's place is cemented as a season keeper for me. Ozil will inevitably bag some goals but that may free up Walcott to play behind Giroud. Looking good.

I'm on Charter and FSC was taken out of the channel lineup. The same thing probably happened on Dish.

Bit late to comment on the article and I have to pick on one confusing aspect of referring to the mins per stats as "up" when they are actually improving. It just makes it harder to read when I see that Michu's mins per chance created are up by 95% as I have to stop and work out if this is good or bad. If a statistic like minutes per attempt increases this is not good but up is more ambiguous. Is the performance up or is the statistic up? If we can find less ambiguous terms like improve/worsened, then I will be a happier man.

Well if you have ever negotiated anything you would know why that is so. Teams asking prices often drop once they see that a team is not desperate and they actually would like to sell. Most of the time it is everybody with pokerfaces as you know players dont have fixed prices, everything has to be negotiated
