While David Moyes remained typically coy on Wayne Rooney’s chances of starting against Sunderland on Saturday evening, Paddy Power have every confidence. Indeed, they’re offering Fantasy Football Scout visitors enhanced odds of 4/1 on a Rooney anytime goal against the Black Cats – with his regular odds at 11/10 and with three goals in his last three league outings, this is another great offer for those yet to register a Paddy account.

Click here to get in on this action.

If you’ve already registered an account, you can still benefit from a Rooney Money Back Special from Saturday’s clash – if Rooney scores anytime, Paddy will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match.

To be clear, the Wayne Rooney special is limited to a Β£10 stake and is open to new Paddy Power customers only.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to have a bet, always gamble responsibly.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Currently I have Rooney(C). If he doesnt play, I have no bench at all so will field just 10 players. Shall I take a hit to bring in a defender up to 6.6 value instead of Whittaker and bench Coleman or leave it as it is?

    Mignolet
    Coleman Enrique Clyne
    Michu Ozil Whittingham Eriksen
    Rooney(C) Sturridge Lukaku

    Lewis, Whittaker, Chester, 4.3 mid
    0 FT , 2.4 in Bank

hmm - could be worth bringing in a spurs defender as I'd fancy them to beat Coleman's score by 4

Nah, even if Rooney doesn't play your defender will have to get a clean sheet for it to be worthwhile.

      Risk it I say.

Nothings ever guaranteed in Fantasy Football, thought you'd have realized this by now. All it takes is a soft penalty for Palace or West Ham to pinch one.

I am thinking perhaps Walker, Evra, Rafael one of them may also bring attacking points and they have serious chances for a cs this GW.

    An observation on Fantasy Football...

This is not necessarily about what I have witnessed tonight, but just an idea that has developed gradually)

I see this site as being geared towards sharing our thoughts and I am open to anyone coming on to share their views, stats and experiences... or even to complain, rant or vent about any football stuff in general... (I personally don't have any problems with other sports being discussed either)

The complaining/ranting type post that might be viewed as being towards the negative polarization, is still a positive contribution IMO, as it encourages debate and stimulates conversation...

The thing that gets me about this and the one thing I've never understood is those that react badly to it, or reply in a rude manner to the person posting... just let people vent ffs, if that's what they want to do... it's part of the drama and excitement that make this a wonderful game... everyone is entitled to a certain freedom of expression, and I, for one, sometimes enjoy stepping into character every now and then when it comes to airing my views on certain FF decisions I have to make in any given week...

Everyone should have their own opinions, and I welcome anyone that disagrees with me to share their views, because I enjoy a real conversation as much as the next man...

But to those who do, I just ask one question of you... please just do so respectfully... there is no place for rudeness or arrogance on these boards...

I see now that this post has gone on for a quite a while, but feck it, I've had a lovely night in with my lady and I'm in great mood so why not share a piece of me for once...

Thanks to anyone who read this far... πŸ˜€

Ah well that is unfortunately the internet. I agree completely, it's amazing how people, when hidden behind a screen and keyboard, can become so obnoxious. I much prefer some general kindness. Yes of course let someone who is being out of order know it and stand up for yourself but the willingness for people to lash out at (relatively) complete strangers is just astounding. A fairly damning reflection of a lot of humanity.

I guess as long as the guy venting back isn't rude or disrespectful to the other person, then there is nothing wrong with that... it should become a naturally flowing conversation then...

Even when venting, it's still entirely possible to remain polite and respectful...

Lads. My subs: Kelvin Davis | Barkley (mci) | Livermore (AVL) | Wilson (ful)

Does the bench order look fine? Impt. if Roo doesn't make it.

    Terry Toure Coleman (Reid Murner)
    Michu Ramsey Mirallas! Barfa! (Brady!)
    Suarez(c) Giroud Rooney!
    1 million in the bank
    A) Barfa to Eriksen
    B) Mirallas to Eriksen
    C) Reid to Walker
    D) Do Nothing
Next week Barfa going for Barkley either way. If i dont make a transfer i may end up with 10 playing.. or with 1 pointers from Reid, Murner. Mirallas/Barfa both have similar chances of startin and i really want Eriksen

    Shaw a doubt too

    SOUTHAMPTON TEAM NEWS
Southampton defender Luke Shaw is a doubt for Sunday's game against Swansea through illness.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino is due to assess Shaw on Saturday before deciding whether the left-back will play any part in the game at St Mary's Stadium.

The Saints boss has no other injury concerns as he goes in search of a third successive win.

      1) Go on console this will not work on web app.
      2) Buy two consumables of the same kind (can be any consumable)
      3) Store them both in your club
      4) Go to your club and send them both to your trade pile
      5) Go to your trade pile and send them both back to your club
      6) Go back to your club, you now should have 3 of that consumable
      7) Rinse, repeat and have fun before it gets patched.
