With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports, and Sun Dream Team, we have plenty to digest as always. We also look at those who are a little richer after having a great week in our weekly PlayON game:

Fantasy Premier League

Cavan McDonald remains at the top of the Scout League thanks to a 70-point haul last time around. Only three of his XI produced the goods – captain Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard and Adam Lallana scored 57 points between them as Cavan moved to 11th spot overall. Veronika Solymosi climbs to second after producing 68 points. Captain Suarez and a double Everton defence of Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines helped Veronika up to 743 points so far.

Luke Weston is a non-mover in third. He picked up 62 points last weekend despite handing the armband to Sergio Aguero over Suarez; the likes of Lallana, Coleman, Simon Mignolet and Nathan Baker all picked up points. Hemant Gosavi drops down into fourth spot – he earned 54 points thanks to captain Suarez, Coleman and Nathaniel Clyne, whilst David Wilson completes the top five after racking up 69 points in Gameweek 11. The code to join up is 1580-1106.

Joe Wilkinson climbs to the top of the Fantasy Football Scout members league after picking up 63 points. Again, he had Suarez to thank as captain, while Ravel Morrison and Coleman also chipped in. Luke van Lelyveld climbs to second after a 74 point Gameweek, while former leader Wasana Busby drops to third; captain Suarez and Wayne Rooney were the only two to deliver the points as Wasana slipped to just outside the top 1,000.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Ben Broadhurst continues his stunning season at the top of the Scout League. Currently sitting on 918 points, Ben is not only 89 points ahead of his nearest challenger Thomas Daines, he is now the overall leader in the Sky Sports game – a full 17 points ahead of any other player. Garry Wheeler and Michael Galbraith are joint-third, 10 points behind Thomas on 817 points apiece. The winner of our Sky league, which has extended its lead at the top in the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

Sun Dream Team

Gary Sullivan retains top spot but his lead is down to just three points. His team, which comprises six Arsenal and three City players, now sits on 678 points – Nigel Dodds is his nearest challenger, with Robin Van Persie and Eden Hazard helping him make up ground. Gary Hamilton is a further six points back on 669 points, with the acquisition of Wilfried Bony helping his ascent. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayOn

Chris Costa was top dog in PlayON’s exclusive Fantasy Football Scout £2 game last time around. He loaded up on four Liverpool players and also had Robert Snodgrass and Adam Lallana to thank for earning him £38.09. Brady Worton picked up £25.53 in second spot and Steve Porter finished the Gameweek £19.32 richer in third spot.

Fantasy Football Scout Cup

As we mentioned in a previous article, the cut-off point for entry into the qualifying round was last Monday night. We’re busy sorting out the draw behind the scenes and should hopefully have the First Round fixtures with you over the weekend.

Seeing that Evil Kagawa has been mentioned, his latest tweet:

Oh no! Carrick injured 6 week! What team do now?
    Carrick - 2 year...1 goal
    No worry.
    Cleverley - 2 year...2 goal

    REPLACEMENT TWICE AS GOOD!

Can't really think of any transfer I want. Should I hold out to see if Michu is coming back? TV is ok so not too concerned.

Oh a Cake Star could be nice. Hmmmm not really at the moment to be honest. I'm keeping an eye on Coutinho and Stevie G as well as Lamela and Eriksen who could be the ultimate bargains but not right now. Walcott of course but he needs to be back 100% before I consider.

Unfortunately I believe that there are no teams Palace can play this season and expect to do well against. The only one that I would possibly consider would be Puncheon but he needs more regular starts. Apart from that nothing appeals. They can't score and can't keep clean sheets.

Since when did cricket become just a big deal

Not even third most popular sport here probably

Only a couple of countries have it as number 1

And bbc keep going on about this little master retiring

No wonder our football is in such a state

Cut the funds for the rubbish sports and invest in our national game FOOTBALL

You may owe me a new laptop due to the water I just spat all over it when I read this!

Michael Owen's retirement took place over a period of around 6 years and he was not football's Sachin Tendulkar. More like football's Dean Headley.

Mate bbc has stats saying he's 29th best its one of their top stories

Owen was one of the best in the world if not the best at his peak and top twenty of all time easy

Joining the transfer intent hot topic a little bit late, I reckon this season it's important to jump on the bandwagons as soon as they arise, even if its for a hit or two. I was 80 points behind my ML leader in GW7 but while he refused to budge Sturridge and Giroud,

I brought in and captained Suarez and Aguero and I'm now ahead of him. Last week shows that you only need 1 good captain pick to score well, and with so many players failing to impress I think the forward line is the place to invest. With this in mind, I'm doing Walker, Oscar, Lukaku > Vlaar, Hazard, Rooney (C).

What's the worse that can happen?

Oops *Everton 😛 And that is fair too of course, Liverpool are stronger attacking but measuring the differences between Pool attack vs Everton defence and United attack vs Cardiff defence I would slightly favour United. That said I still think Suarez is a great candidate for pretty much any match.

Get Amalfitano who'll be back approaching full fitness on Monday week v Villa. Injury niggles fir the past few weeks Class before then when he's fit and you can use the 1.4m saving to upgrade elsewhere. If France get through Ukraine Amalfitano still has a chance, although slight, of getting in the France squad for Brazil.
