With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports, and Sun Dream Team, we have plenty to digest as always. We also look at those who are a little richer after having a great week in our weekly PlayON game:

Fantasy Premier League

Cavan McDonald remains at the top of the Scout League thanks to a 70-point haul last time around. Only three of his XI produced the goods – captain Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard and Adam Lallana scored 57 points between them as Cavan moved to 11th spot overall. Veronika Solymosi climbs to second after producing 68 points. Captain Suarez and a double Everton defence of Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines helped Veronika up to 743 points so far.

Luke Weston is a non-mover in third. He picked up 62 points last weekend despite handing the armband to Sergio Aguero over Suarez; the likes of Lallana, Coleman, Simon Mignolet and Nathan Baker all picked up points. Hemant Gosavi drops down into fourth spot – he earned 54 points thanks to captain Suarez, Coleman and Nathaniel Clyne, whilst David Wilson completes the top five after racking up 69 points in Gameweek 11. The code to join up is 1580-1106.

Joe Wilkinson climbs to the top of the Fantasy Football Scout members league after picking up 63 points. Again, he had Suarez to thank as captain, while Ravel Morrison and Coleman also chipped in. Luke van Lelyveld climbs to second after a 74 point Gameweek, while former leader Wasana Busby drops to third; captain Suarez and Wayne Rooney were the only two to deliver the points as Wasana slipped to just outside the top 1,000.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Ben Broadhurst continues his stunning season at the top of the Scout League. Currently sitting on 918 points, Ben is not only 89 points ahead of his nearest challenger Thomas Daines, he is now the overall leader in the Sky Sports game – a full 17 points ahead of any other player. Garry Wheeler and Michael Galbraith are joint-third, 10 points behind Thomas on 817 points apiece. The winner of our Sky league, which has extended its lead at the top in the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

Sun Dream Team

Gary Sullivan retains top spot but his lead is down to just three points. His team, which comprises six Arsenal and three City players, now sits on 678 points – Nigel Dodds is his nearest challenger, with Robin Van Persie and Eden Hazard helping him make up ground. Gary Hamilton is a further six points back on 669 points, with the acquisition of Wilfried Bony helping his ascent. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayOn

Chris Costa was top dog in PlayON’s exclusive Fantasy Football Scout £2 game last time around. He loaded up on four Liverpool players and also had Robert Snodgrass and Adam Lallana to thank for earning him £38.09. Brady Worton picked up £25.53 in second spot and Steve Porter finished the Gameweek £19.32 richer in third spot.

Fantasy Football Scout Cup

As we mentioned in a previous article, the cut-off point for entry into the qualifying round was last Monday night. We’re busy sorting out the draw behind the scenes and should hopefully have the First Round fixtures with you over the weekend.

Need some inspiration to try make claw a 60 point deficit on a runaway league leader. Most pressing matter is probably midfield and Silva but i do have 0.8 to make an impact. Any suggestions would be welcome!

      Quite a handy team.

The obvious one is Silva and to a certain extent, Nasri makes little appeal too. Take those two out for Ozil and perhaps, Llanana, but bear in mind he has tricky fixxies.

All of them are great but the first one was a cracker to start off with:

How to shake off Stephane Henchoz:

OK, so here's the deal. I've started a Dead League with some friends (scoring to start this GW, 12). One important rule: after the lock on Saturday, we are not allowed to make ANY transfers. We can make subs and captaincy changes, however.

Here is my team at the moment:
    Krul (Marshall)
    Vlaar, Coleman, Ridgewell (Rosenior, Clyne)
    Walcott, Ramsey, Sess, Ravel (JWP)
    Rooney, Aguero, Suarez

Thoughts? I'm curious to hear any and all suggestions! I have 0.2 available at the moment. Remember I need these guys for the whole rest of the season (27 gameweeks).

    Thanks! 🙂

You could get Chester instead for 3.9 (others seem to think he will be first choice when back(may be this GW).

Id also consider getting Boruc and Davis(sou backup keepers) as your two keepers. Only 9 mill then your covered if Boruc gets injured.
You can replace Clyne with Burner and this saves you 1.1 million(i think) to be spent elsewhere!

I can´t resist, I must say something here..

What about João Moutinho? and Coentrão? Meireles? aren´t they good enough for you?

That´s ok, I understand the hate...

Portugal should be in Brazil for the WC, is a massive failure if we aren´t, because as "brother" countries this would be a major loss for the income. Sweden won´t attract as many fans as Portugal, not even a 3rd of it.

        That is all.

Hardly top class players you listed there in fairness. Portugal had a very straight forward group, dropping points against likes of Northern Ireland and Israel not exactly form from a team that should be in the World Cup.

On the otherhand Sweden had perhaps the best team in the world right now in their group and scored seven versus them

Haters gonna hate, you´re afraid of a draw against us again, that´s what it is.

Did you ever see João Moutinho play? Not top class? just because he doesn´t play in PL or any other club you´ve ever heard?

We only step up our game when in tight situation, that´s the kind of team we are.

Furthermore we finished the last 5 major competitions in the top 8.

So there you go, Mr. now-it-all.

You could get an Arsenal defender in for Clyne, decent defensive fixtures for the next four. Then it's an easy swap for a Everton defender in GW16 when Arsenal fixtures go sour and Everton's turn beautiful.

Work out a good rotating system. I've worked out that I have at least 2 defenders each week who should get a CS and the third is a possibility. Then I will bring in either Guzan or Myhill to rotate boruc with.

    Mignolet / Kelvin Davis
    Terry / Ivanovic / Walker / Lovren / Figueroa

So background: I've started a Dead League with some friends (scoring to start this GW, 12). Only rule: after the lock next Saturday, we are not allowed to make ANY transfers for the remainder of the season. We CAN make subs and captaincy changes, however.

So I've made some changes since the last post and here is the updated team at the moment:
    Boruc (Kelvin Davis)
Vlaar, Baines, Rat (Chester, Ben Turner)
    Hazard, Gerrard, Ramsey, Ravel (Brady)
    Rooney, Lukaku, Suarez

New thoughts? I'm curious to hear any and all suggestions! I have 0.1 available at the moment. Remember I need these guys for the whole rest of the season (27 gameweeks). Not sold on Rat but I needed a cheaper alternative to Ridgewell.

    Cheers guys!

Can anyone who is thinking about buying Remy explain why?

    He's why I think you shouldn't:

    Suarez
    Aguero
    Rooney
    Giroud
    Sturridge

Are all better players in better teams

    Lukaku
    Benteke

Have better pedigree in the mid price bracket

He is admittedly quick and has a good touch, but seems to flourish on the counter which won't be every game.

Surely the above are better choices?

Just to confirm, 55 looks to be the qualifying score for the FFS Cup. Entry is, of course, closed now. If you scored 55 you may or may not have qualified due to rank.

A first round draw has been made but, due to a duplicate team that we've just spotted, we may either have to redraw or manually edit the draw to knock that team out and replace them.

Ed will look at this asap and hopefully we'll have the draw with you soon.

Hits are subtracted from your score and, after that, you need 55 or above. Not all those with 55 will qualify either - depends on rank.
