After Wayne Rooney grabbed a goal and assist during United’s win at the KC earlier, it’s time to concentrate on a further feast of football this Boxing Day. We’re served up another nine games, with all but one of those kicking off at 3pm:

Romelu Lukaku earned third spot in this week’s Captain Poll ahead of Everton’s home clash against Sunderland. The big Belgian may have failed to find the net in the last four but with Wes Brown suspended and John O’Shea a doubt, he’ll be hoping for a return to form.

Spurs welcome West Brom to the Lane as Emmanuel Adebayor (who finished fourth in the Captain Poll) looks to repeat last Sunday’s brace against Southampton. Chelsea play host to Swansea, with Eden Hazard also carrying the armband hopes of many Fantasy managers into the Gameweek, as will Theo Walcott for Arsenal’s trip to West Ham.

Yohan Cabaye’s new owners will be looking for the Frenchman to maintain the consistency which has served up returns in eight of 12 appearances as Newcastle welcome Stoke to St James’ Park. Elsewhere, Villa play host to Palace, Cardiff go head-to-head with Southampton, whilst Norwich welcome Fulham to Carrow Road.

This leads us on to the final match of the Gameweek, where City’s 100% home record is on the line against Liverpool. The Fantasy sub-plot is intriguing – can Yaya Toure, David Silva and Alvaro Negredo produce the goods at the Etihad yet again? And just how many points will Luis Suarez rack up against a defence that has conceded three times to Arsenal and twice to both West Brom and Fulham in the last four Gameweeks alone?

If there’s one thing that seems certain, the evening encounter at the Etihad looks set to bring goals aplenty. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom remains open for those looking for some real-time banter right up until the final whistle of that last match.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

The five games when Suarez didn't score for Liverpool: 4 defeats (Arsenal, Hull, City in PL, United in COC) and a draw (Newcastle).

think Liverpool can win vs Chelsea??

Suarez - 16 goals v teams in the bottom 7 this season. 3 v teams 1-13th. Liverpool had not played City or Chelsea before today, we'll know more about Liverpool credentials after Sunday. They've had a pretty easy home run so far. Lost to City and Arsenal away.

Wasn't talking about today so much and not so much about Suarez, but Liverpool in general. Suarez is without a doubt the best in the league if not Europe at the moment.

Disappointing for Suarez (C) but I don't regret doing it. He looked lively and was unlucky not to come away with something.

Still, I had legit options in Wally and Rooney and didn't go with either. Oh well. At least I don't own Howard.

Didnt captain Suarez vs Spurs. Lost ground in both mini leagues

Captained him vs City over Rooney. Lost ground in one mini league and no change in other.

Wont captain him vs Chelsea. If I want to catch up 90pt and 100pt deficits then games like the weekend game vs Chelsea is where I have to start. Need a gamble to undo the mess this GW has caused sitting at over 500K and falling fast

No bad decisions made - correct.

Regret - plently of it. My luck this season is getting ridiculous benching lots of goals of late and rivals getting all the luck. This week was a huge chance to catch up and simply put - I blew it

I captained him against HUL and he only hit 2 points. I didn't captain him against NOR and he hit 24 points. I kept the armband on him until he faced TOT; where the consensus around here was that he would be blanked. Bam! loss of 46 points.

Today out of fear I changed from Walcott to Suarez at the last hour. My thinking was that I only lost my league lead under the same situation; where I was passed on people riding the Suarez wagon.

Nope... Suarez was in pure dive mode today and didn't give a shit about putting in some effort. #WeWantAguero 🙁

This casuals bull has to stop. I really don't think you people know the meaning of the word "casual"

It's common sense to pick the players who are on form. The aim of the game is to pick players who score points. What has that got to do with being a casual player? So you're more committed if you pick more obscure players who don't get as many points? Really stupid.

I think the term casual is for people who spend less than 30 mins per week on the team as opposed to us lot who spend 30 hours per week plus god knows how many hours dreaming about fpl

Nope. Sorry. That doesn't make sense to me. I spend a good amount of time researching players, team news, injuries etc but I still pick players who score big and do so consistently. I have Ramsey, Coleman, Yaya and Suarez because they get lots of points. Casual has nothing to do with it. Idiots or people who don't have any grasp on the English language.
