After a less than fulfilling Saturday, Fantasy managers will be looking to Sunday’s fare with huge expectations and the hope that today’s returns can rescue respectability.

The bill certainly looks talented enough, with Roberto Martinez’s Everton hosting Southampton and leaders Arsenal making the trip to in-form Newcastle – both those matches bristle with goals and could well offer a strong platform for the today’s four o’clock kick-offs.

Those are undoubtedly headlined by the battle of the Bridge where Luis Suarez and Liverpool face off against Chelsea in what promises to be a tumultuous affair. Whether it will bring goals and points for Suarez is another matter.

While hopes will be high for that encounter, Tottenham’s White Hart Lane clash with Stoke perhaps offers less on paper, although Tim Sherwood’s new broom could yet unearth some key Fantasy assets for 2014 with today’s clash providing an opportunity to scout out the potential on offer.

As usual, you can look to our Twitter feed for all the teamsheet updates from these matches, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to take you through to the final whistles.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Seems silly to take a hit right before january, but I'd say Mert & a playable midfielder.
Overall I'd say that Koscielny is better value, but Mert more likely to rise ahead of the wildcard.

I would say it depends on how many weeks in advance you plan to bring those players in. What if they get injured before the DGW? What then?
So why not wait till the DGW and bring in players you know will be fit or not suspended?

As I wait for my VC to become my C and my autosubs to push me to the reasonable gameweek score of 57, I take stock of the first half of an awful season, and ponder my mistakes.

    A) Getting RVP in GW1 and keeping him for far too long
    B) Recovering well from GW4 onwards, but failing to pick a good captain for the next six weeks that severely hindered my progress
    C) Cabaye > Oscar and not Hazard
    D) This week, to top it all, Lukaku > Rooney. Disaster.

May the next 19 gameweeks bring more fortune.

Ramsey + Whittingham-> Sterling + Lallana for free done. Decent short term fixs.

Now. Play Lallana (CHE) or Barkley (Stk)?

question, when you're giving advice, do you prefer to just see the team written here for convenience or do you prefer the screenshot?

personally I don't mind the screenshot especially as a wall of text is sometimes off-putting
