Ahead of tomorrow’s Gameweek 21 deadline, Paddy Power have laid on another enhanced market for the upcoming round of matches. This time around, our bookmaker friends are tempting us with Away Day Treble odds of 8/1 for Chelsea, Arsenal and City to win at Hull, Villa and Newcastle respectively.

When you consider that the regular odds on the accumulator for all three to win are around 7/2, this looks a standout deal for those yet to sign up with Paddy. If you don’t have an account and fancy a piece of the action, Click Here to join up and take advantage of the offer.

If you’ve already got an account with Paddy, you can still benefit from a couple of offers this weekend. First up, there’s a Money Back Special on offer at Old Trafford tomorrow evening. Paddy are offering refunds on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets should Swansea win at Old Trafford for the second week in a row.

On Sunday, there’s another Money Back Special on the St James’ Park showdown between Newcastle and Man City. Paddy are offering refunds on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets should Alvaro Negredo score last.

To clarify, the Away Day Treble enhanced odds specials are limited to a £10 stake, are open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Hi - New here. Been enjoying your lovely forum on a distance for a while 😉 Was ranked 5k but thanks to a few -8p, Skrtl own goals, missed punts and Suarez show away to Spurs I fell to 70k. Back up to 30k now. It's my second season, got 30k my first. Think I'll need a few differentials to keep it up. I'm def using my WC this week. What you guys think?

    Mann/Marsh
    Baines - Skrtl - Kosh (olsson/ward)
    Ozil - Stevie G - Silva - Eriksen (mutch)
    Negredo - Suarez- Ade

Im wondering if I'm gonna go for Hazard here, but it means bringing in J-Rod. Maybe wait a few weeks (willing to take a few -4 hits) and get Ramsey in for Ozil, upgrade Ade to Podolski if he gets nailed on. Also Neg > Aguero and Ozil > Ramsey + Ade > Podolski is duable. Even Ozil > Ramsey and Silva > Hazard + Negredo > Aguero

Biggest question is if Caz can get back on track? He seems to drift more now and if Podolski does make the XI, will he Caz play right winger? Or even central and move Ozil a bit?

And am I crazy or will Lallana pass 180p this season, is he worth replacing Silva right now and by that getting money for Hazard. Dont like leaving Hazard out in the cold like that..

Liverpool fan? I think Skrtel to Nastasic and Olsson to Chester would be a better use of funds. Will give you a little extra in the bank too.

Tnx - No, Barcelona fan, used to live there. Enjoy Spurs, but just generally love PL. Fancy Liverpool fixtures though and Skrtl seems to be all in on every set piece this season. Even more than before. I'm thinking Chester to and rotate Nor/Hull/Palace, but I cant see Hull keeping up the clean sheets. Again, the extra funds might do the trick, I'll try again now. Hold your horses, this might be the solution.

I can do Skrtl > Chester and Gerrard > Hazard. dont know if doubling up on Spurs is a dreamer. Wanna do Cazorla + Podolski and keep Eriksen, but I can wait a week. What you think?

        now: Ozil > Caz (punt)
        or
wait: Ozil > Ramsey + Ade > Podolski

Adebayor is definitely a better option than Podolski, I wouldn't rush into that transfer. I'd just do Ozil to Cazorla now.

    I had thought to save my WC until GW24 or 23 at the earliest, arguments being;

24 we would know all the transfer window buys and could have them all in.
23 The 10 day gap would allow maximum swapping time for value increase and we'd have the team sheets before deadline.
Both I think valid points, but GW22 is beckoning, I'm worried any team value to be made later I can make by having the popular players in early and at a cheaper price. Surely I'm not going to go so wrong that my bench won't cover any rotation?

I'd appreciate your thoughts DZ, if I do this coming GW it has to be done tonight before Sunday 01.45 price changes.
    Thanks

Flynn, you obviously have your reasons (as above) for not playing your wildcard now. Many of us were forced into it due to injuries. Thus it made sense to play this week.

The way I see it, is you should still play it this week; albeit tonight. There's not been many price rises, if any with the key players. And the key players you'll want to buy are still 2-3 weeks away from fitness.

Thus I say play it now, catch many in your ML off guard. Then save next week and the following you've 2 transfers to bring the guys you're contemplating now. You can't lose.

      Just my thrupenceworth

      Afternoon ILF

Don't forget that the League Cup Final is on March 3rd ( gw 28 ) and the FA Cup 6th.round is the following week. If City manage to protect their lead against West Ham in the second leg neither they nor United will have a game in gw28. If City make it to the 6th.round of the Cup they will miss two consecutive weeks. Obviously we don't know when the schedule will be rearranged but it's worth bearing in mind before you load up on City players and have a bunch of deadlegs on your bench.

Yes, it's a tricky one. With Jovetic coming back into the picture soon there's going to be some serious rotation in the City side at the end of February and beginning of March. They also have to play Barca twice in that period as well.
I'm trying to hang on to my WC as long as I can and see how things shake out. Walcott and Rooney have put a dent in my plans but that's just too bad, oh yes Chris and what it is too.

Difficult, I would end up with less tham 1.0mil if I swapped. If it was more and I thought I could usethe money to make more points from someone else then probably would.
I'm seeing too much value in mid-low price players and don't feel strapped for cash. Though I would if I wanted Aguero and a third pricey striker.

I'm rambling, which means it's tough choice and really you're on your own, sorry. 🙂

Seeing Suarez on 58% in the Captain poll is almost enough to make me take the armband off of him and put it on Lukaku. Of course I've been there before, captaining Lukaku for 4 pts. while Suarez singel-handedly destroyed Spurs. I just think what a huge "differential" it would be if Suarez blanks this week and someone has the guts/stupidity to captain someone else who does score well. Thinking...

I have 2 players I consider unusual in side this week having looked at more WC teams than you can poke a stick at Lennon & Chico. The rest are pretty much the same as most other sides. Nice to have a proper differential for a change

Just be having a play around to try and broaden my GW22 WC and I've come up with this, please tear it to pieces to stop me from hitting the button at 11:31am tomorrow and playing it

    Boruc - Davis
    Kosc - Nasty - Burner - Chester - Shaw
    Ozil - Hazard - Gerrard - Silva - Eriksen
    Suarez - Aguero - Berahino

That midfield 5 blows my mind a bit, I could even downgrade Shaw and do Silva > Yaya

Yep absolutely the way to go......probably worth Ade or Neg to play this week and upgrade to Aguero next week.....I have left 5m in my WC to do this.

Would also do that Silva to Yaya upgrade without hesitation

      No point taking Aguero now
      Strong mid
Nasty not 100% nailed on IMO. Burner a risk with Solskjaer arrival (Hudson). Berahino not nailed on etc...

I don t like the rotation risk with Demichelis. C1 upcoming. And Pelle fancy Demichelis a lot
+ City don t keep as many CS as previous years+ Nasty des not have attacking power and he never gets BPS..

To me, he is far from being a great FPL value... His only value is playing in the best team

I like it...except you may want to have Negredo and keep the funds for a switch...with Lukaku/Ade/Giroud/Negredo all having interesting games the next 1-3 weeks, it would not be fun to watch Aguero on the bench one week and subbed off at 60 the next...

    QUICK POLL...Rooney/Walcott out, would you:

    (1) use WC and sort everything out;

    (2) Rooney out; Negredo in ---->no hit; Barkley or Chester (if Barkley is hurt) start

    (3) Walcott out; Oscar in------------> no hit; Barkley/Chester start

    (4) Rooney, Walcott out; Ozil, Negredo in---------->4 point hit, keep WC for later

So I have just one outstanding issue as I tinker with my WC for the last time.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    Azpi and oscar/ gerrard

    Or

    Oil and Burner.

Already have hazard but thinking oscar as a short term punt most likely switch to Gerard or even Ramsey once reinstated regularly - oscar us just a few points off ozil with 100 less minutes. Leads me to think that he may be better value. Problem - if ozil scoress big will take a hit to get him in.

    Any comments appreciated

It will be interesting to see how he fits back in. He certainly doesn't seem nailed on so not too excited by him when Ozil is good to go and Ramsey is coming back. Also, a lotof people have Arsenal defenders so fitting Pod in right now isn't very popular. If he gets a run of games and scores a couple tht bandwagon will take off.

Not to knock Walcott, but I think they will be just fine. Especially if they pick up one of their January transfer targets. Walcott is a bit of a tricky player. Definitely helps on offense. Not so sure about defense. As good as he is, I'm not sure he's the toughest guy to replace. Plus, this Gnabry kid looks like he might be the real deal. Ox is ok, but not as sold on him at the present.

    A)
    Marshall/Mannone
    Kosceilny Coleman Turner/Chester/Gabbidon
    Lallana Silva Oscar Cazorla (Pozuelo)
    Lukaku Suarez Adebayor

    or

    B)
    Marshall/Mannone
    Kosceilny Coleman Turner/Chester/Gabbidon
    Lallana Silva Hazard Eriksen Ozil
    Lukaku Suarez Berahino

And then make the move to Aguero for Lukaku, and downgrade a Mid

If it were me, I'd consider downgrading Mutch to one of the 4.2 cheapos and upgrading one of the three cheap defenders. The reason being that you are never going to intentionally choose to play Mutch over any of those midfield/attacking players. He's essentially just a backup bench warmer in case someone gets injured. However you will be playing at least one of those three cheap defenders every week.

If you can afford someone like Clyne instead of Turner that makes a big difference in my opinion - Cardiff are still one of the worst defences in the league while Southampton have a great run.

Exactly. This 'casual' crusade is nothing more than an excuse from some people that are struggling this season. Most on here had Ramsey before his injury and plenty are contemplating bringing him back on their wildcard, and Yaya now seems acceptable to plenty of people on this site too - but anyone who had the foresight or luck to bring them earlier than the masses on here must be numpties who have no idea what they are doing. 🙄
