Here’s a new post-match article – a beautifully simple concept: the Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (provisional Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added.

Please Note: The Scoreboard for Gameweek 21 will be published again after Sunday’s Matches.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Azpil. United are likely to be without Van P and Rooney, are away to the strongest defence in the league, and that midfield will get absolutely owned by Oscar, Hazard and co.

Got to be Januzaj imo, more chance of attacking pts. Saying that, he does seem to get rested, or cameo against the bigger teams. Hoping he will be a regular starter now after the last couple of performances.

I'm a bit worried his role will reverse now (ie rested vs smaller teams for the harder games) given he's one of United's best players at the moment.

Assuming a lot of people have Coleman/Baines and Kosc/Mert as their first 2 defenders.

The 3rd defender spot suddenly has lots of options.

Fonte, Rafael, Chiriches, Zabaleta, Nastasic, Azpilicueta, Terry.

Who is the best one to go for ??

Taking out Terry, the rest are 6m or below.

Maybe at 5.3 Azpil is the best option. Chelsea look a lot tighter defensively now.

    Kind of a repost.. Considering
Ozil(/Ramsey when fit), Silva, Hazard are gonna be nailed on in most midfields i think the 4th mid spot comes down to one of
Gerrard, Lallana or Erkisen. Fellow Gerrard owners you may be second guessing yourself after lallana and eriksen yesterday but considering Gerrard has been bossing the stats since Suarez came back and now has sturridge to convert his chances as well as the below

    Gerrard
AVL EVE wba ARS ful SWA sot SUN

    Lallana
sun ARS ful STK hull whm LIV cpl

    Eriksen
swa MCI hull EVE new nor CAR che

Surely there's a huge case for optimism. 5 home games in 8 compared to 3 in 8 for lallana/Eriksen.. we've prob made the right choice. let's see 🙂

Morning all. Hit the WC last night. Here is my first draft for next week, marks out of 10?

    Marshall/Mannone
    Coleman/Mert/Nasty/Azpi
    Ozil/Haz/Silva/Eriksen/Ki
    Suarez/Negredo/Welbeck

£0m ITB. Once they are both back planning a Ozil+Neg-->Rambo+Aguero.

    Thoughts?

      7.

      Problems:

Keeper rotation doesn't really work, would get Boruc and 3.8M instead.

Too much time ed up in defence. Coleman + Koscielny + Someone else around 5 Mil and under is enoygh. Even the first 2 with 3 4.0Ms is better.

Because of this you suffer in midfield. Eriksen is a decent shot but I prefer Lallana, he is 100% nailed on, Eriksen will be rotated. Not keen on Ki, you should spend at least 5 Mil on a budget mid or else you will be getting solid 1 pointers all the way.

The forwards are weak too. With a team like that, you should be able to get Aguero without downgrading. Negredo just doesn't tempt me, and Welbeck will move wide in the following weeks.

        Interesting perspective.

I'm happy with my keepers. Used rotating all year and it has worked well.

Who do you like for the 3rd striker spot then given I want them to be in the team every week? Agree Welbeck is out once he gets shifted out wide but for the moment with him playing through the middle and scoring goals am happy to take a punt.

Could downgrade defence to keep Ozil/Caz but I just don't think Ozil/Caz will score that many more points than Rambo when he comes back.

    Szczesny, Davis
    Chester, Coleman, Koscielny, Evans, Turner
    Hazard, Januzaj, Özil, Eriksen, Sterling
    Rooney, Lukaku, Suárez

    5.4m ITB and 1FT

With concerns over Davies, Evans, Turner, Sterling, Rooney, would you:

    A. Sod this, where's that WC button?
    B. Sterling & Rooney -> Silva & Negredo (depending on today's games)?
    C. Other?

There aren't that many problems, but the team would be quite different to your WC team. WC if you like, today or tomorrow, and tinker with it a little.

True, just hoping Aguero comes back soon to make it worthwhile....would hate to have to perform surgery after playing the WC.

Probably best to save this week right?

Nasri -> Hazard looks a certainty for GW23

    Szczesny
    Terry, Ward, MOlsson
    Ozil, Silva, Nasri, Sterling
    Suarez, Negredo, Lukaku

    Davis, Clyne, Evra, Barkley

I think I may go with a 4 man defence going forward. In all my fpl career I've never done this. Feels a bit like driving on the wrong side of the road.

    Mert, coleman, baines, clyne

I see so much value in these four, it makes sense to form the team around them. Would still be able to afford the other players that I want, with ramsey as fourth mid.

Still, it feels so strange. Anyone else out there contemplating going 4 for the first time?

Well clyne passes as a cheap defneder so essentially you got yourself 3 big guns + 2 cheapies.

Not sure I would double up on everton tho

      Hey gd
Agree those players all good value but I'm not sure clyne warrants a regular start over a 4th Mf like erikson or Ramsey so really clyne is going to be on your bench most weeks

That's what they had the last time I brought a che defender in. It got me nothing for the next 8 or so weeks.

But mainly I base it on my own subjective experience of watching them play. They make a lot of mistakes, it just looms messy back there.

That said if Luis starts pkaying cm I'd get him
