There’s just one Premier League fixture on this Easter Sunday, as Arsenal visit the Reebok Stadium. With title rivals Manchester United and Chelsea both securing three points yesterday, this of course falls into the ‘must win’ category for the Gunners.

As for Bolton, the 43 points they’ve already accrued this season means that they don’t really have a lot to play for. However, after suffering a major humiliation at Wembley last week, it’s perhaps pride more than anything else that’s at stake for the home side.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open, and the team news is in…

Bolton XI: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Lee, Elmander, Muamba, Taylor, Sturridge, Kevin Davies

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Djourou, Koscielny, Clichy, Song, Wilshere, Walcott, Fabregas, Nasri, van Persie

The Wanderers welcome back in-form striker Daniel Sturridge, who was cup-tied for the Stoke game, and Matty Taylor earns a start in midfield. Jack Wilshere comes back in after being rested in the North London derby, with Abou Diaby making way.

Boltons away form this season -

      W2
      D5
      L9

The wins were v West Ham and Wolves

      Less than impressive

I'm not trying to be a smart arse Cheggers. As you point out, Bolton are excellent at home. However, they are a totally different proposition away from the Reebok. Dire in fact.

On Wednesday they meet a team with very similar bi-polar characteristics. Fulham are even money. Lump on!

When you go to boarding school, surrounded by like minded idiots, it doesn't take much to find out about these things.

Can't remember properly, but I think that someone changed that to my homepage when I left my laptop unlocked, so when I fired my internet up, I was hit by that!

I most certainly didn't go searching for it or anything like that...

and also why 3 people? when 4 turn up do they suddenly go, "oh god this is disgusting, what are we doing" surely they realised that part at 2

it's real. it was 1 yard off being a hospital pass, luckily it was just about spot on. it's amazing how effective a 3 yard pass can be, luckily rvp was on an equally brilliant wavelength and those 2 mustered a goal out of nothing

your initial comment may have been a joke based on fabregas' phantom assist last game, in which case i misunderstodd the joke and fell into the trap of answering it as if it was a question not a joke.
if that was the case you would have been the fisherman and i would have been the fish.

Lol, as you young people say. It was a genuine question, motivated by the fact that I have Fabregas, didn't see the match, and he and everyone else keeps having assists stolen from them. Although the Zamora thing is hilarious, obviously.

It confused me when Liverpool fans kept complaining about them under Hodgson. It just sounds like the weirdest metaphor going. I can't see in what way a pass would be like a hospital.

In rugby it's where you do a pass which exposes the person you're passing to, like a big lofty pass which they have to reach above their heads to catch, allowing them to be speartackled to death by their opposite number. Same could apply to football I guess, never heard it used though

More of an adjective than a metaphor in its intention, MF.

yeah, the word is used as an adjective, I gathered that, but it's also a metaphor. It's not literally a hospital pass, is it?

Quite. Metaphors are a form of comparison though which is why this term reads more like an adjective eg dangerous pass.

As I'm annoyed about the Zamora assist getting WRONGLY chalked off, I'm going to send FPL an e-mail demanding* that Cahill be given the goal and not Sturridge, just to be a dick.

*This will not work at all, but it'll make me feel better.

    Stolen from Twitter:

Wenger: "If you can prove my principles are wrong, I am ready to change them all." Poor Arsene Wenger. Resembles a broken man, held together only by the glue of misguided faith & the sticky tape of arrogant delusion.

    I LIKE.

Why has Zamora lost his assist ??

I'm looking at a freeze frame of this - both Zamora and the Wolves defender made contact with the ball at the SAME TIME...

What set of rules covers this scenario ??

Email to FPL Towers to follow..

he was a foreigner, and was getting really emotional and was talking really loudly and quickly about arsenal and about how they've thrown stuff away and he can't take it and saying how he has cried himself to sleep etc

alan geen said he needs to calm down and that he has never had a caller like that before

        was pretty funny

I just find it amusing to picture people who obviously have such sheltered lives that they'd cry over some club they arbitrarily began supporting being only moderately successful.

I suppose Manchester United want Mesut Oezil to replace van der Sar as well?

I could see that happening. The Sniedjer /Tevez bit.

      a) Sniedjer has been linked with Utd so City will be ultra keen to get him and will offer 400million pounds a second contract.
      b) Tevez wants to leave City and Inter seem likely.
      c) Sniedjer is rumoured to be unhappy at Inter

Guess it depends on Citeh getting into the CL.
