There’s just one Premier League fixture on this Easter Sunday, as Arsenal visit the Reebok Stadium. With title rivals Manchester United and Chelsea both securing three points yesterday, this of course falls into the ‘must win’ category for the Gunners.

As for Bolton, the 43 points they’ve already accrued this season means that they don’t really have a lot to play for. However, after suffering a major humiliation at Wembley last week, it’s perhaps pride more than anything else that’s at stake for the home side.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open, and the team news is in…

Bolton XI: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Lee, Elmander, Muamba, Taylor, Sturridge, Kevin Davies

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Djourou, Koscielny, Clichy, Song, Wilshere, Walcott, Fabregas, Nasri, van Persie

The Wanderers welcome back in-form striker Daniel Sturridge, who was cup-tied for the Stoke game, and Matty Taylor earns a start in midfield. Jack Wilshere comes back in after being rested in the North London derby, with Abou Diaby making way.

One goal would be enough, don't greedy. It was also complete my ridiculous run of goalscorer bets this week:

          Cavani anytime
          Bent anytime
          Kuyt anytime
          Torres anytime
          RVP anytime
          Aguero wincast
Negredo wincast (Sevilla are winning 2-0 as we type, Negredo scored)
          Balotelli anytime

            Nicely played sir, nicely played.

I think Balo is going to have a stormer tomorrow. Either that or a mindnumbingly stupid red. Either way, if he gets me some Forward Thinking points first all is good.

Bah! One missing word, one odd spelling mistake, nothing to cry about. 😀

Blackburn away is the sort of nasty fixture where he could get himself sent off though. I'm desperately hoping that he doesn't, because I really fancy him for the run in.

could go really well, but just because the big teams are playing doesn't mean they stop scoring.

lolarov is a good shout. yaya is playing better with balotelli. but i'm not convinced balotelli is all that, others think so though.

fabs got 16 points against chelsea, so there are still points in those games. malouda is still a good choice

Will come to Adam or Balotelli for me... If Balotelli was guaranteed to start against WHAM that would probably shade it, given that he would also be on pens & free kicks. And after seeing the amount of chances west ham shipped against chelsea I would be confident enough in City getting at least 2 or 3, possibly even more.

Ah I haven't got a clue to be honest. I'm not sure Mancini does either! But Balotelli probably is further up the pecking order than Dzeko at the minute. Its' probably just a case of watching City tomorrow night to see how they line up & play... and then waiting till sat am for any hints.

Agreed, you never know. I'm edging towards Silva and Balotelli, and maybe putting the armband on Silva to maybe wuss out a bit. Balotelli(c) is tempting, but so was Zamora(c) 🙂

I've been a big fan of Adam, but the sparkle has gone out of his game recently. He did have one very close chance though. That Holloway comment the other day, where he implied the decline of Blackpool was because of Adam being unhappy at not getting sold in January, if correct would certainly imply that there's problems in the relationship.

Good man! That's one of my favourites of his. Bit of trivia for you, the last three songs on that album, he recorded all in one go, back to back, in one take. Apparently he sat down and said "ok guys, don't mess up".

              really?!

i will listen to them again later with that knowledge...

              his early albums are untouchable

                Oh cool, thank you.

Yeah, that early period is just amazing, the flow of great albums one after another. Funny how people can make so much good music and then spend years making really mundane stuff.

pah zamoras assist disappeared, when an assist is so 50/50 i think its pretty lame not to award it - i vaguely remember carroll getting a couple at newcastle for 50/50 balls, wasnt his liverpool goal 50/50 as well? sour grapes from me 🙂

Have you been watching it? Villareal are playing a massively weakened side, but Sevilla have eased up a little since scoring the second.

I'd rather do the -2 bet.

I only saw a grainy replay of the goal but it looked like a Zamora assist to me yesterday, see it has been removed just now, presume it has been discussed to death on here today, anywho, 56 -4 with Zamora/Huth and Begovic to come, not too bad

i was fuming at it being removed, but I think the wolves defender got a head on it, but under severe pressure from Zamora, who might have a slight nick on it before hand. In my view, zamora created the chance for johnson, therefore it should be an assist.

Jimmy Murphy managed Wales at the 1958 FIFA World Cup Finals, when they reached the quarter-finals in their only appearance in a World Cup. They lost 1-0 to Brazil (the eventual winners), to a goal by the young Pelé.

    did not know this...
