Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is still out in front with a total of nine awards, three ahead of Wayne Rooney, Luis Suarez and Curtis Davies.
Gameweek 26 Bonus Points
Twelve goalkeepers managed five saves or more this week – Maarten Stekelenburg was the top keeper with a total of eleven saves over the two games. Vito Mannone again picked up bonus points and is sat at the top of the bonus rankings with 16 additional points to his name.
In defence, a total of 15 players gathered bonus, nine for tackles and seven for passes completed – full-back Angel Rangel was the player to achieve both and now joins team mate Chico and Crystal Palace full-back Joel Ward on 20 extra points.
In midfield, 29 players earned bonus points – 16 for tackling and 19 for passes. Four midfielders managed to pick up bonus in both games, whilst Morgan Schneiderlin managed tackling once and passing twice to earn himself an additional six points, putting him level with Yaya Toure and Cheik Tiote on 32 additional points overall.

The Transfer Trends
Top Transfers Out
| Name | Team | Value | % of Managers |
| Terry | Chelsea | 7 | 7.09% |
| Ramsey | Arsenal | 5.8 | 4.69% |
| Henderson | Liverpool | 6 | 3.60% |
| Negredo | Man City | 8.6 | 3.45% |
| Lovren | Southampton | 5.2 | 3.21% |
Aaron Ramsey and Dejan Lovren remain on the sidelines for the foreseeable future, whilst John Terry, Jordan Henderson and Alvaro Negredo look set to feature this weekend. Negredo’s ownership has been ‘yo-yoing’ back and forth over the last few weeks, but with the imminent return of team mate Sergio Aguero, his ownership will probably continue to drop as Fantasy managers scramble to acquire the Argentinian’s services.
Top Transfers In
| Name | Team | Value | % of Managers |
| Sturridge | Liverpool | 9.2 | 6.29% |
| Fonte | Southampton | 5.1 | 4.93% |
| Adebayor | Tottenham | 7.6 | 4.84% |
| Lallana | Southampton | 5.9 | 4.66% |
| Hazard | Chelsea | 8.8 | 4.23% |
Daniel Sturridge’s relentless form sees him top the transfers in and he looks a good acquisition ahead of a home clash with Swansea this weekend. Likewise, Emmanuel Adebayor has been a revelation under new boss Tim Sherwood and looks a good bet for points away to Norwich. Jose Fonte, Adam Lallana and Eden Hazard regularly feature in the most transferred in as their ownership continues to rise.
Gameweek 28 Proposed Captain Strategy
Looking ahead to the captaincy choices for Gameweek 28, we will have to settle for just two captains as there is no Monday night game this week.
Our Strategy:
Yaya Toure (Stoke at Home) → Luis Suarez (Swansea at Home)
For the fixtures on Saturday 22nd, we have opted for the security of Yaya Toure – Man City have been devastating at home this season and, with direct free-kicks and penalties in his locker alongside the high chance of passing bonus, he looks a safe bet. Other alternatives include Robin van Persie and Santi Cazorla.
For Sunday the 23rd, a switch to Luis Suarez looks a no-brainer as they host the Swans at Anfield. Of course, Daniel Sturridge offers an alternative option if you’re looking for a differential.
As an added bonus Suarez & Sturridge play on Saturday March 1st away to Southampton in Gameweek 29.
