We look for inspiration in this week’s Scout Picks as we attempt to get one over Paddy again. A couple of in-form midfielders and Tottenham’s Togolese talisman carry our hopes as we prepare to part company with another tenner:

Our first stop is at Craven Cottage, where Fulham welcome London neighbours Chelsea. The hosts’ new boss Felix Magath has his work cut out in his first home match in charge – Fulham have a single shut-out in the last 20 Gameweeks and look unlikely to improve upon that record anytime soon. Paddy are offering 11/2 on Eden Hazard to score and the Blues to keep a clean sheet – given Jose Mourinho’s side have conceded just three times in 11 Gameweeks, we’re happy to part with £3 of this week’s tenner.

Onto the Britannia now, where Arsenal face a testing trip to Stoke. Paddy are prepared to offer 15/2 on a Santi Cazorla goal and Gunners shut-out – the little Spaniard has three strikes in six, whilst Arsene Wenger’s side have kept out their opponents five times in the previous nine Gameweeks. With this in mind, we part company with another £3 for Saturday afternoon’s showdown.

Finally, our last bet of the weekend is kept for Sunday’s game at White Hart Lane, where Spurs welcome struggling Cardiff. Paddy are offering 13/2 on Emmanuel Adebayor scoring two or more and for Tim Sherwood’s side to keep a clean sheet and we’re backing this one with our remaining £4. The Togo international has bagged three braces in 11 league appearances since being installed up top by his new manager and was at the double in Thursday’s Europa League win over FC Dnipro, whilst the Bluebirds dire attacking form also looks promising – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have drawn blanks in five of his seven league games in charge.

    Are there any decent explanations for why Suarez is scoring so low FF wise recently that aren;t siply due to Sturridge? Early in the season Suarez was scoring freely when Studge was also playing and he got 13pts against Stoke (Studg first game back)

    Is it purely that Studge has taken over?

    Its a shame as LS seemed on route for a seriously impressive season goal tally... has his ship sailed?

    Just doing a bit of juggling about for DGW31...Daniel Agger keeps laughing at me...5 c/s for Liverpool in the eight games he has managed to stay on the pitch for 90 mins this season and car/SUN for the DGW...Should be a full strength(!) Pool defence by then, for the first time in many months...He's avg 6.1pts per game for his 90 mins appearances...mmm
