Tomas Rosicky is a doubt for Arsenal. Everton’s Steven Pienaar is out for at least a fortnight. Ashkan Dejagah adds to Fulham’s injury woes. Hatem Ben Arfa returns for Newcastle, Sunderland are set to be without Steven Fletcher at Norwich, Crystal Palace will be without the services of Marouane Chamakh once more, whilst Morgan Amalfitano and Billy Jones remain sidelined for West Brom:

Arsene Wenger has confirmed Tomas Rosicky is Arsenal’s only injury worry for tomorrow lunchtime’s crunch encounter at Stamford Bridge. The Czech international has picked up an ankle problem and faces a fitness test later today.

Southampton have a number of concerns in midfield for the trip to Tottenham. In this morning’s press conference, Mauricio Pochettino has revealed Morgan Schneiderlin, Guly Do Prado and Gaston Ramirez are all concerns, whilst Victor Wanyama and Jack Cork remain doubts.

Roberto Martinez has ruled Steven Pienaar out of the clash with Swansea at the weekend. The Spaniard expects Pienaar to remain on the sidelines for two to three weeks with a knee problem. Meanwhile, the Toffees’ boss remains optimistic on club captain Phil Jagielka’s fitness, suggesting the defender is 50-50 for the visit of Swansea.

Fulham’s injury problems continue to mount as Felix Magath ruled out Ashkan Dejagah, Dan Burn, and Kostas Mitroglou for the Etihad trip. Scott Parker also remains sidelined with a knee problem, though Magath believes the midfielder could return to contention against Everton next week.

Hatem Ben Arfa will return to the Newcastle squad at the weekend, after missing the loss to Fulham due to personal reasons. Elsewhere Davide Santon is sidelined with tonsillitis, having not trained during the week.

Sunderland will be without Steven Fletcher against the Canaries this weekend. The club is awaiting a prognosis on the ankle injury that forced the forward off against Palace at the weekend, amid fears he could be ruled out for the rest of the season.

Tony Pulis has confirmed that the club remain without Marouane Chamakh because of a hamstring injury. Dwight Gayle is a doubt, having been sent for scans after picking up an injury in training during the week.

Baggies boss Pepe Mel will again be without injured duo Morgan Amalfitano and Billy Jones for the KC Stadium encounter at the weekend. Jonas Olsson has also been ruled out as he serves the first of a two-game suspension.

Chris Hughton has conceded that Michael Turner won’t be risked for the visit of Sunderland, having only just returned to action for the reserves following months out with a hamstring injury. Jonas Gutierrez (calf) is unlikely to face the Black Cats, with Hughton going on to say midfielder Leroy Fer is still “a few weeks” away from a return to action.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

No of course not. The site went a little Mata crazy the other night after RVP was injured and it got a little out of hand as to what he was capable of. He was single handedly winning the Premier League at one point.

Last WC decision....which looks best chaps?

    A) Coleman & Williamson
    B) Distin & Koscielny
    C) Distin & Williamson

    C) leaves enough cash for Gerrard & Sturridge -> Hazard & Aguero over the next 2 weeks

    Manonne
    Baines, xxx, xxx, Chester
    Yaya, Silva, Gerrard
    Suarez, Sturridge, Lukaku

    Gazzaniga, Terry, Ki, Gnabry

Imagine it'll be the below if Rosicky doesn't make it. If he does then probably Podolski drops out and Santi switches to the left.

      ----------Giroud
      Pod------Santi------Ox
      ----Arteta---Flamini

That looks pretty spot on. He could bring Ox into central midfield and go for Gnabry...that may happen for one of the two matches if Rosicky is out for both.

Against weaker opposition possibly, but away at CHE I think he'll setup more defensively, and then throw on Gnabry with 20 mins left if chasing the game.

I reckon Lukaku will come good with a goal and an assist at least. And Lallana will outscore Hazard and Snodgrass, cos I've just left him on the bench to play those two.

Fantasy Football Scout daily hot topic

    UFPL - transfers rule

We are now starting the period of UFPL without any transfers, unless you want to take a large points hit to bring in players on loan.

How have you enjoyed the game so far with the transfers? Will you lose interest now there are no transfers? Do you think the game still needs the chance to make transfers throughout the season?

I'm more concerned that UFPL was FPL's "trial run" for 2014/15 with FPL( the way we know it) possibly disappearing and going the way of the CL game.

In that case I will find something else to do.

I've really enjoyed it so far but I can already sense how it's going to feel next season - like they've increased the luck factor in the game and made it impossible to correct mistakes or bad luck.

I think I will play it but I reckon I will lose interest by October unless I happen to have stumbled upon some 'essentials' in the first few weeks.

If it had been running this season, who would have brought Ramsey and Yaya in? Those lucky few who did would have won handily. They'd have been uncatchable by the time the January transfer window had rolled around. Likewise, many would have got Aguero or Benteke and been unable to do anything about it.Those wouldn't have been poor decisions IMO

I think this and Metro will be the games I concentrate on most next year. I love the interactive during GW element, which you also get with Sky, Mail, Mirror and Telegraph games.
It should lend itself to those of us who spend a lot of time on the games and on here. But for me it looks as if it will be more interesting than worrying about whether a player's price will rise or fall.
I hope they keep major differences from FPL.

I've loved the ability to punt with your transfers, but now that you can't do that any more, who knows what it'll be like. I imagine the start of the season next year will be damn near impossible as you will have about 3 weeks to judge the Ramseys, Yayas etc of the season. Else you're screwed.

I've enjoyed it somewhat... but not sure I'll be able to say that after months without being able to make a FT...

It is refreshing to be able to utilise a larger portion of your squad over the GW... to have taken some punts on the first day in the GW, and have them fail but not be punished for it and be able to take them out for another player playing the next day is my favourite thing about it...

Actually I have a question regarding the UFPL rules.

For the first 4 GWs, there were at most only matches on Sat & Sun, and on Sun i was able to make Manager Substitutions to replace low-scoring/non-scoring players.

For this DGW there are 4 matchdays, so if for example I play Lukaka initially and have Sturridge on the bench, and after the weekend matches (they both play on Sat), Lukaka will play again on Tues and Sturridge on Wed, and if Lukaka doesn't do well, can I swap Studge in for him on Wed (Matchday4)?

Can't seem to find any explanation on this in the rules ...

I think people will loose interest in the period with no transfers and then forget about the game when transfers come in.. Taking a loan out will very rarely be favorable I suspect. I think they have tried to make it more tactical but not really succeeded so far, although obviously there are a few new factors to take into consideration when picking teams

    Adrian
    Azpilicueta - Coleman - Koscielny
    Gerrard - Hazard - Nolan - Yaya
    Lukaku - Sturridge - Suarez (c)

    Mannone - B.Johnson - Bruce - Ward

    Bank = 2.3
    FT = 0 (Chambers & Mata > Koscielny & Gerrard -4)

Thinking Nolan > Silva next week.

Worth taking out Boruc to perhaps Mannone for a hit this week? Wouldn't normally hit for a keeper change but there's a chance of making it back in 1 week and will definitely make it back in the DGWs coming up. The risk seems fairly low.

Unfortunately I have a very low TV and so need to look for cost cutting options here and there, how would you rate these on a scale of 1-10:

    A) Silva instead of Yaya

    C) Ki instead of AJ

    D) Azpi instead of Ivan/Terry

      +1
I've saved my WC for this week in the hope to give me the upperhand over everyone who used it earlier, but everyone seems to have the same or slightly better team than me now. My only real gain has been around 8 or 12 points, as I haven't taken any point hits.

I agree. These DGW's seldom bring a big jump in rankings for the "big boys".

It's the 20 above GW average that you score in a normal GW that makes all the difference.

Agreed. I think GW34 might be more profitable for me. I already have 6 DGW players that week (3 Everton, 1 Sunderland, 1 City, 1 Crystal Palace), and with 3 FTs before then can get it up to 9 when most people will probably have less.

    C) Yoshida > Chester (-4)

    Demel / Coleman / Smalling
Yaya Touré / Silva / Gerrard (vc) / Mirallas
    Suárez (c) / Sturridge / Lukaku

    Boruc
    Azpi Ivan Baines
    Haz Sissoko Silva Yaya
    Suarez(c) Sturridge Lukaku
    (Davis Noone Olsson Bruce)

Haven’t taken any hits yet this week, any of these worth a hit to get to 8+ DGWers?

    a) Boruc > Mannone
    b) Bruce > Dummett
    c) Olsson > Flannagan

Fixtures suggest Lukaku but Rooney is a far better player. Lukaku also has an extra DGW and Rooney is currently sitting on 8YCs... Having said all that, I own Lukaku but would much prefer Rooney.

    MANNONE
    Cahill -- MOllson -- COLEMAN
    Hazard -- GERRARD -- A JOHNSON -- YAYA
    SUAREZ -- STURRIDGE -- LUKAKU

    Marshall -- Kompany -- Ward -- Pozuelo

Is it worth Kompany --> Zabaleta for a -4, and play instead of MOlsson?

And I guess it's not worth, say, Pozuelo --> Meyler / any other double cheapie and play instead of Hazard?

Hazard doesn't do it against the good teams, he's not going to get 20+.
