The league’s top two dominate the upper echelons of this week’s Captain Poll as Man City and Liverpool prepare for very favourable home games against West Ham and Newcastle respectively. With both sides set to go on the attack, Luis Suarez, Edin Dzeko, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero are joined by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard ahead of a trip to relegated Cardiff:

We take the top five in this week’s Captain Poll as our starting point and construct a members table based around a number of their key statistics in order to flag up any other players offering a similar sort of threat in recent matches.

        Not pathetic. They've rotated games (game a piece) constantly since Clichy has been fit. With a draw sufficing, I'm sure Kolarov won't start. Few mins towards the end of the game at best.

    Not much to fight for, but I'd like to keep climbing (top-60K right now, highest I've been all year thanks to a 95-pointer in GW37, which would have hit triple digits had I not captained Mata):

    I want to drop Mata and would have dropped Azpilicueta as well, if I knew I could get someone to cover the -4, but then I'd also have to bench one of my 11. So, I guess, two questions:

    1. Mata >>> who? 12.0 to play with
    2. Anyone else a rotation risk?

          Well, I'm no expert, just going on last weeks game. Can't remember if he picked up a knock, maybe you can find out.

          He played the full 90 minutes for the previous four fixtures, so he may well play the full time again - probably wanting to impress to maybe get into the England squad, but on the other hand not wanting to get injured too I guess.

          If you are using your FT for Mata, I would keep Lambert and keep my fingers crossed.

            Nasri - got him, Yaya and Silva - can't get them, have Zabs and Dzeko

            Eriksen - got him

    mgith not mean anything but looked at what side mourinho put out on the final day of last season. at that point real madrid were locked in 2nd with no chance of 1st or 3rd, and the copa del rey final was a couple of games before this (in which ronaldo got sent off so was suspended btw)

      That's pretty much a 2nd team, with players who were leaving in the side. He never played 2 up front so thats unusual, but as it came after the cup final im not sure how much you can read ibto it.

    Suarez - Sturridge - Dzeko

    I'm thinking about lining a 3-4-3 with the strikers and keeper unchanged. If Ramsey plays, I think I will sub Jones. If he's injured, I'll sub Ramsey and play with Ward. Sounds sensible?
