The league’s top two dominate the upper echelons of this week’s Captain Poll as Man City and Liverpool prepare for very favourable home games against West Ham and Newcastle respectively. With both sides set to go on the attack, Luis Suarez, Edin Dzeko, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero are joined by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard ahead of a trip to relegated Cardiff:

We take the top five in this week’s Captain Poll as our starting point and construct a members table based around a number of their key statistics in order to flag up any other players offering a similar sort of threat in recent matches.

    I guess the real question is who do we expect to score more goals this weekend. Chelsea or Liverpool.

    - If Chelsea, then Hazard seems a good pick, even though he came off the bench last week...it would be hard to imagine him on the bench again. Hazard scored 18pts against Cardiff last time around.

    - The other thing is, technically Liverpool have more motivation, they can still win the league, so maybe they'll go all out. And if so, who is the better pick. Sterling or Gerrard? and how does Henderson being back affect the flow of their attack?

        The exact prognosis I have been having:

        -Mourinho is stubborn, and Hazard should play, but that slight doubt in our minds makes it difficult to pick him

        - Sterling and Gerrard are nailed on and probably will score points. More then Hazard though?...

      If QPR reach the Play-Off Final they won't be allowed play Remy but Newcastle's season will be finished then and he is a QPR player so I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed. Does anyone know if something similar has happened before?

      Start Ward or Mata? Mata won't necessarily play 90 minutes and Ward has cleansheet potential against a relegated Fulham team. I can also bench Ramsey but I think he'll start.
