The final ScoutCast of the season found Granville and I take on the might of Hall of Fame legend, Evs, top 300 ranked Applebonkers and our very own high flyer – Jonty. We certainly know how to make ourselves feel inadequate.

In a mix of retrospective naval gazing and forward thinking speculation, my co-host and I tackle the usual ScoutCast regulars, before we’re joined by our guests to take on another raft of community questions. We talk Gameweek 38 punts, the deadball divas that are Steven Gerrard and Yaya Toure and consider the lessons learned from the past nine months.

You can listen in on the edited Podcast version of the show via this link or the player immediately below, or get the warts and all Hangout version – complete with childminding and Jason Puncheon toilet breaks – via the player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Here's a warning to all you people chasing a mini league this weekend.

The season before last (that famous final day win for City versus QPR) I was about 20 points behind the leader going into the last weekend.

My normal move would have been to transfer in Aguero and captain him but as I assumed that's what my rival was going to do I decided to gamble and bring in Tevez and a midfield punt (can't remember who, maybe Sess) and captain Tevez instead.

Anyway, as we know, Aguero ended up up scoring the winning goal and I lost my ML.

But, the point of all this is that when I worked it out later it emerged that had I just done the obvious Aguero transfer and captaincy I would have WON BY 1 POINT!!

Yep, I'm unsure whether to captain Suarez or not with a 19 point deficit.

Whilst 19 is a lot to make up without a captain differential, if Suarez scores well (as expected), my chances will be virtually none.

      Yaya - Mata - Ramsey - Sterling - Puncheon
      Suarez - Aguero - Sturridge

Bench one please......or take a hit and get Hazard, Eriksen or AN Other?

With Aguero being one of the question big question marks this week - this Twitter repost should help:

KUN AGUERO: @aguerosergiokun raring to go and wants to win title to repay 'fantastic' City fans http://manc.it/RwytGA

I'd wager he will do at least 30min on the pitch and sneak a goal/assist. Unless chasing, wouldn't move him especially for a hit

      Some advice if possible please...

Chasing a 8 point lead in my mini league. Was thinking of doing Rooney to Sturridge and AJ to Sterling. Can I make up the 12 points? He cant bring in Dzeko or Sturridge for Rooney, already has 3 pool and City.

      My team

      Mannone
      Alonso/Azpi/Baines
      Yaya /Nasri/Ramsey/AJ
      Aguero/Rooney/Sturridge

      His

      Hart
      Skrtel/Zab/Evra
      Yaya/Gerrard/Mata/Puncheon

I'm not sure why they don't confirm Norwich as relegated already?

Seeing as if they win and WBA lose they'd have to win by 18 goals to climb above WBA.

A 9-0 win for Norwich and a 9-0 loss for WBA would do, wouldn't it?

Not the best example because the difference is City have to either draw or win the game to win. If they lose and Pool win then Pool win the PL. 😉

Norwich have to win, WBA have to lose and either by Norwich scoring or WBA conceding they have to get a +18GD.

It's done. Norwich relegated and that's that!

      3.9m in the bank.

1 to play out of the following 3

      1) Evra ( would look to prove and earn himself a new contract, but has Sou away and Sou can easily scorebig)
      2) Martin Olsson ( Last game in pl in front of homecrowd and Norwich would look to bow out strongly)
      3) Koscielny ( Arsenal have been best in defence, but have nothing to play for)

Also guys play Mannone or Scezsny as GK?
