With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

Nothing in the bank.

He is aware that at the back he is relying heavily on clean sheets at Newcastle and West Brom. Any advice on improving his back-line would be appreciated. Also, is he right to opt for the expensive Daniel Sturridge? Will a lack of Arsenal cover come back to bite him?

For Spencer: Given Sturridge's injury doubt for the start, I'd swap him + Albrighton for Bojan and Sanchez. Arsenal will be quick out the starting blocks again this season.

      Thats an average, doesnt mean he isn't inconsistent. Will get 19 points one gw then follow it with 2s and 3s. Thats why he is frustrating, you will lose patience with him, then ending up selling him before a big haul

-Chambers is a 1-2 GW punt depending on Mertesackers fitness. Will swap to Marriapa/Cameron/other 4.5 after seeing opening line up.

  PVA your best bet from Sunderland - we have nobody else in squad who can play LB. Jones seems injury prone (definitely out of opener), and Vergini could rotate with JOS & Brown.

  Very nice team. I would spend the cash in defence differently though.
  
  5.5m for a Stoke defender seems too much, they're poor at the back with Pulis gone.

  I would pick Moore instead of Hutton...not sure of whether Clyne or Wisdom are nailed on...doubling up on Sunderland's defence also doesn't seem wise.

    I prefer Hutton over Moore. Him and Wisdom have nice rotation. I am worried about Wisdom tbh, I'm hoping he starts.
    
    I have no problem with doubling on Sunderland defence because they are in different positions in my team. I treat them in isolation.
    
    Cheers for the feedback. I think Fletcher will bargain of the season.

    Thanks mate. Allen to Hoillet is a good shout, had him on my shortlist too. In terms of Lovren, I don't see Rodgers paying £20 Million for a defender and not having him as a nailed on starter. Could be wrong though.

    We know Rodgers likes Allen and he was favoured towards the end of last season, but at the same time he isn't a big contributor to goals or assists. Think Hoillet could be a safer option.
