With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

Mata – Fabregas – Ramsey – Sterling – Sigurdsson

Roscola admits his team has a major flaw in that it is potentially benchless. He says though that he’s happy for QPR striker Bobby Zamora never to play, because this is a 3-5-2 that reverts to four at the back for first sub. He believes that there are more points available in the budget bracket in defence than further upfield. Sticking with this basic strategy he is looking for advice to find extra funds to invest in his bench. Downgrading Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas to Manchester City’s Samir Nasri is one option he is considering.

      I don't massively trust Krul but the spread in points for keepers for good to bad isn't as much as for outfield players and he saves penalties!
      
      I did think of Costa as Chelsea have the easier start to the season, but i just feel like he's going to bomb! But they do create a lot of chances so i'll maybe do that

  With Hazard a bit rusty for fitness, I think Fabregas may be a better pick at the start of the season and it will give you another 1.0 million to use 🙂

  Providing you have no problems dropping Manquillo against Spurs and City, looks quite good.

    Agreed, Bojan is strictly for backup and won't start.
    
    Manquillo is a punt at this stage, only worried about the City game, Spurs not so much.
    He looks really comfortable already but might rotate for the City game.

      Yeah it is a tough call, Fabregas on current form and fitness as well as being 1 million less is the better option I reckon.

I'm not having much luck here, especially with the defence.

Rooney, Mata, and Lamela are the only players that I will not change.

Krul, Foster,
Yoshida, Evans, Wilson, Moore, Kaboul,
Ramsey, Coutinho, Mata, Lamela, Wanyama,
Rooney, Jovetic, Costa.

More then happy to downgrade Coutinho to Siggurdson, and spend the money elsewhere (upgrade Ramsey to Sanchez...?)

Has anyone been watching Chelsea`s pre-season matches?

How has Hazard been playing? And how high up the pitch is Fabregas playing? Initially i wanted Hazard, but as far as i know, he hasnt produced anything and Fabregas has scored a cuple of goals...

Who to go for?

  Fabregas is playing as a CM. Cheslea will play a 4231 and he'll be one of the 2.
  Mou confirmed this already.
  Hazard has played 30mins or around that in each game and has look ok.
  I went for fabregas to start just as he looks more in form but when hazard kicks on he's mine.

Baird has started in every game since his signing, in def midfield

Wisdow has started too, but Gamboa when ready, will be a major challenger to his spot

Maybe Baird is a better option than Wisdom righ now?

        Giroud is the main man at arsenal, with a weeks training he'll be fit.
        
        Mutch is a playing in the hole for QPR he will excell there, hoilett is playing up top beside austin, if remy gets fit then hoilet will be benched, Taraabt is an interesting choice if he plays,

        Yaya is second/third choice to lead the line, and though a promising youngster, is not at Giroud's level.

  - I went with Isgrove instead of Marney, but that's 50/50 I guess
  - Personally I think Eriksen will score higher than Sterling in the first few weeks. Maybe start with Eriksen due to Pool's tough start? Then u get 0.5 to upgrade Hutton/Baird to Chester.
  - Moore seems like a starter IMO so he's cool
  - Wait for team news regarding Baird/Wisdom and Hutton
  
  Verdict:
  - Keepers = solid
  - Defence = should have a maximum of two 4.0's. Upgrade Baird/Hutton IMO
  - Mid = great
  - Forwards = great

  your defense needs to change imo. its like baines + 4 others. as other suggested i would downgrade baines.
  
  if you want to keep baines, at least change yoshida and chambers who may not be nailed by the end of the transfer window..ferdinand+chester is a good rotation pair at the same price. you will be left with 4 starting def+wisdom which is much better imo
  
  you can downgrade pelle to austin/bojan and upgrade giroud->costa..giroud may not start 1st game

Hi all, can I get a RMT please?

Cahill, Lovren, Chambers, (Wisdom, Hutton)
Fabregas, Mata, Ramsey, Sigurdsson, (Rodwell)

I know Chambers is short term but seems good value for now.
I'm a bit concerned with lack of Liverpool attack... and Dzeko is also a slight worry for game time.
