As always, our first members article of the week delves into the data from the previous batch of fixtures. This time around, the displays of Chelsea’s wide men, Liverpool’s lone forward, Southampton’s new playmaker and the Hammers’ attacking improvement all come under analysis.
I think I MIGHT take a hit to do Begovic + Chambers > Krul + Colo this week..Begovic surely won't get more than 1 or 2 points vs City and with the rest of my defense being Azpi, Kolarov, Hutton and Baird it's possible I can't even field 3 defenders if Chambers doesn't play!
would be a -4 that really just needs to score 4 or 5 points between the pair to be worth it
also looking at PvA instead of Colo but I could see QPR scoring so would be relying on attacking inputalways funny when I get top spot without counting posts 😆

yeah technically given the points the way I laid them out, it doesn't matter if Sunderland concede given the points I think that Chambers and Begovic will inevitably contribute

I'm not as well which is why I'm hesitant, but still it doesn't change the fact about the points so it really doesn't affect the plan if Sunderland is playing QPR
I would always look at how long you are keeping the new players as they don't need to make up the four points in one game although it is a bonus! I would definitely take a hit as the transfers look good for the next six at least. Both have decent fixtures so a close call but maybe hedge your bets with Sun as PvA looks more attacking.
agreed, nice to have some confirmation because I typically don't like taking hits involving def/keeps, not to mention a hit that involves only them!

If you just do chambers to collo to give you guarantee of three then you could pull in 4-8 points plus 4 from saved hit

What to do you think is more important CS points for your Defenders and Goalkeepers

Goal and Assist points for your Midfielders and Forwards
and is okay for 1GW only to sacrifice a potential low points tally from your Defenders to get a high points tally from your Attackers
Any ideas would be welcomed
TIAGoals are more important BUT that doesn't mean you should go for 3 premium strikers and leave you defence full of 4.5 players, there is a balance.
And no, don't sacrifice defence

My transfers are basically getting rid of Giroud, Fletcher & SanchezAre you sure about Jovetic and Zarate? Both could just be flash in the pans. That said Jovetic could go either way.
I just remember Zarate in a rubbish Birmingham team a few years back scoring 9 in 17 (or something) as they got relegated.
I think he'll play a lot at West Ham, and get assists if not shed load of goals

Suggest you downgrade Skrtel to a 4.0 to upgrade one of those attacking players. Then play Lovren.Why Skrtel and not Lovren? Just price? I had a look at 4 mil defenders and apart from Wisdom no-one took my fancy.
I'm riddled with indecision of forwards. Costa may be a lump but he'll play every week and should score a few. Balotelli? Rooney? Sturridge? RVP? Aguero?
I ideally want a good mid-ranger to put in alongside CostaHutton or Dummett
