    Debuchy - Terry - Jones
    Sigs - Ramsey - Mata - Hazard

Is it just me or does anybody else think it's highly convenient that Ox came on for a few minutes at the end and picked up a mysterious 'injury'?

And then stayed on the pitch after the game holding his ankle just to make sure the cameras noticed.

Somebody doesn't want the 'hassle' of being picked by England.

My advice: if you don't want to play mate, just come out and say it. You're getting zero respect making up injuries

    1. Wilshere Knowledge

What about the fact that he stayed on the ground when we needed a win, and wasn't able to run for 10 minutes?

With 10 minutes left in a game we needed to win. Ox doesn't even feign injury, let alone invent something entirely to get out of international duty, for a side he needs to win his place in.

          Nonsense.

Woy was in the stands too, and Wilshere didn't come on, certainly a ploy by Wenger for them to avoid internationals.

I repeat, when have Arsenal ever done something like that? Was that when Wilshere broke his foot in a friendly? Or was it when Cazorla was out for a month with an ankle injury in a friendly? We don't do that crap.

I can't recall any other incidents like this but they are very common amongst all the top 4-5 clubs.

It wasn't meant as a personal attack on Arsenal. I just can't stand players who do this

Yeh, it is common among other clubs, but we have never done that, at the detriment to us. Ox is one of the most honest players around, he wouldnt do that. And pulling out of friendlies is the reserve of players who are nailed on in their national team, Ox will have to fight for his place... mainly because Roy is an idiot.

      Made my decision

      Mata out for Sterling tonight

      -Will avoid negative price changes
      -Benefit from Sterling price rises
-IF (unlikely) anyone gets injured over the int break, I will have Wisdom/Albrighton to come in worst case

The problem is that if a player get's injured he MAY drop, but I'll risk it

Can't argue with getting Sterling - IMO, a must-have in midfield given his early show of intent.

Mata out is a problem with QPR at home next, however so it comes down to how much you want Sterling. Arguably, if you've got Rooney, you at least have some United - too much given their current form.

Lovren v Moreno is a really interesting decision to make if you're after a Liverpool defender punt. Moreno is lightning quick and will get BPS and attacking points from his flank for sure, while Lovren is also a goal threat and has Gerrard's very good set piece delivery to help him out.

At 5.5m I think they should both be all right for the next bunch of gameweeks, but there could easily be a lot of points separating them too for those who got it right.

I'm probably siding with Lovren at the moment, for having a style that should soak up a lot of BPS with more blocks, interceptions clearances. But only just!

Lovren has that extra security for me. I really can't see Rodgers resting him in any circumstances. He will have options at full-back all season.

Yep you get the feeling Rodgers is making him the leader of that back four. I agree that he will see less rotation, although I think Moreno will play the vast majority of games as well.

Had a look at their respective stats and while the sample is small I probably have to back Lovren to be more likely to snatch BPS in a 0-0 game too, although I might be wrong.

Indeed - he's got to be the main man back there. The BPS changes narrow the gap between the pair but I just prefer Lovren's security and, like you say, Gerrard's delivery could always serve up a goal.

Lovren will play every Prem game if fit. While undoubtedly Moreno is first choice, there are so many full backs in that squad there must surely be the odd game he will be rested for his he will play the Champs League games too. Having said that, it'd be more fun to own Moreno!

If Lovren drops .1 - which may happen - that may swing it for me.
