Granville’s lackadaisical approach to the new campaign might just explain why he’s treading water. Missing deadlines and price rises, my ScoutCast co-host badly needs to introduce some organisation into his season if he’s to keep pace – the man needs a PA – get your applications in.

With Granville floundering, I’ve decided to lay down my Wildcard to potential rub further salt into his wounds. Is it a chronic case of “jerky knee”? Granville certainly thinks (hopes) so.

We chat over my Wildcard revolution, analyse how the heavy-hitting midfielders are failing to pull their weight and rinse through the usual regulars in the same disorganised fashion.

      If you downgrade Adrian to a 4.5, you can upgrade Moore or Duff to a Chambers/Naylor/Wilson type. If you were into that sort of thing.

        thanks. Naylor and Chambers are in my thinking. Adrian has good fixtures incoming though plus with Baines Ivan and Bertie I can't see myself benching them too often to need a 4.5 def. Might downgrade one of Baines or Ivan to to them though to free funds for Kun.

      Cork is a better option than Boyd, maybe even Isgrove, because you're not playing those players anyway. He's the cheapest midfielder and you never know when you're going to need that 0.1pt.

      Of course Mata will be significantly more prone the next few weeks. Fletcher is probably in, but is no fantasy prospect. LVG might do Januzaj instead, would be a punt tho. Fellaini could surprise start on Saturday, but that would be a silly punt to try. McNair will probably start again, offering great price, but for no show as United WILL conceive (assuming Jones doesnt make it)
