We go head-to-head with Paddy once again this morning as the festive schedule now picks up pace. Our faith is placed in a couple of midfield differentials who are starting to find their 2013/14 form, whilst QPR’s main man up front is also called upon as Harry Redknapp’s side entertain fellow strugglers Leicester.

Our first stop is at Loftus Road, then, where two of the bottom three go head-to-head. Having struck three times in his previous two home encounters, Charlie Austin is clearly vital to the hosts’ prospects in the final third, whilst at the back, hopes are high of defensive returns given that the Foxes have failed to score in their last five. Paddy are offering 33/1 on Austin to score at least twice and the R’s to grab a clean sheet and we’ll stick our necks out and make this our bet of the week, handing over £4 for this one.

Next up, our thoughts turn towards the summit as second-placed Southampton welcome City to St Mary’s. Given that the home side have conceded just once this season, this one is far from easy for the champions but we’re backing Yaya Toure to continue the form that saw him score against Swansea in last week’s comeback win. City’s tails will be up after defeating Bayern in midweek and with Paddy prepared to offer 14/1 on Toure to score and City to earn a clean sheet, we’ll take a punt and throw another £3 their way.

Our final bet is saved for Sunday’s encounter at the Lane, as Spurs square up to Everton. Christian Eriksen’s importance to the Tottenham cause was underlined last weekend as the Dane produced a goal and assist in a comeback win at Hull and he’ll be looking to do the same against the Toffees. Paddy are offering 12/1 on Eriksen to score and the home side to grab a clean sheet and we’re going to back Mauricio Pochettino’s side to the tune of our final £3.

Hopefully not too much, because Tadic and Pelle are useful going forward.

I've spent a lot of time to get the WC team right, but uhm... haven't thought about who to start.

One to play, two on the bench, in what order would you prioritize these

    A) Dummett (wha)
    B) Hutton (bur)
    C) Yun (LEI)

    Couple of quick questions,

    1. Start Hutton (BUR away) or Duff (50% Injury Risk, AVL home)?
    2. Captain Costa (SUN away) or Sanchez (WBA away)?

    Thanks! 😀

      Bit sideways perhaps?

Good points from Erik last week after 2 weeks of getting subbed off early.

      Nice fixtures for Sig.

    Lads,

    I'm sorting my defence out

    Currently
    Bruce (3.9), Moore (4.0), Chambers (4.8) Wisdom(4.2) Baines (7.1)

Considering either doing bruce to yun (3.9)or wisdom to azpillcueta (6.0) But which one first ?

    I have 1.9 to spend

Unless he really fÅkks up he seems to be preferred over Amat, so probably nailed on at least until 13.12 when Fernandez expected back.

I think all in all Downing probably has a bigger change getting more minutes than Kane. But nobody knows, youre choice man!
