I pulled my groin 3 weeks ago (no idea of grade - I think Grade 1, but aggravated a couple of days later by 'playing' football on it (aggressively walking around/kicking ball)). I haven't had any pain in it since last Wednesday, however, I haven't exercised it.
Is there any way of me assessing whether I can play in a tournament on Tuesday?

try warming up, but make sure gently in this weather.
if you can make it through 30mins of gradual exertion (upto a sweat), and you feel no tightness then let yourself play 30 or so mins of football (dont go too crazy, keep it easy on yourself).
If you still make it through then keep playing. If you can make it through an hr or so without feeling anything then you will probably be ok.
but make sure you warm up/down thoroughly.Strong tips.
