While Gameweek 15 is shaping up to be one to forget for many Fantasy managers, our analysis of the weekend’s statistics for members offers some insight to distract us, notably the growing influence of Yannick Bolasie and West Ham’s efforts to maximise the formidable weapon that is Andy Carroll.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Does any read more reputable sources than the Mirror and Mail? Guardian are estimating 7 weeks

Why would Dzeko be a rotation risk? He was unfit hence Pozo coming on. Plus Jovetic is a forward whereas Dzeko is a striker

What if Pellegrini shares the 90mins between Dzeko and Jovetic each game?

With those fixtures I don't mind Dzeko even playing 70 mins plus his role is different to Jovetic. And they have Leicester next 😉

Both of those sound like reasons why he is a rotation risk. Dzeko is unfit and Jovetic is a forward 😆

Dzeko has been dropped for Jovetic earlier in the season so there is a risk with Dzeko.

With City midfield they need someone to finish which Dzeko can do best

Dzeko will be the main striker, 60 minutes plus until fully fit, Jovetic will start alongside or come off the bench depending on fixtures.
Pozo came on because there was no way Dzeko was fit enough, 20 -30 minutes max.
Dzekos the man although Jovetic has looked dangerous but Edin will be the focus, Pelly doesn't really have a choice imo.

He's on my shortlist but competition is stiff with Bony, Benteke & Roon. Dzeko's fixtures may swing it but will wait till after midweek game.

        • 15 Years

I dont know much about midweek games, but Jovetic wont be able to make it to the midweek game, which automatically suggests that Dzeko will be rested for Jovetic next weekend?
If Dzeko wasnt fit enough today, no way is he going to play 180 mins over 3 days.

Would you do this for -12?

    Fabianski > Foster
    Chambers > Azpilicueta
    Fabragas > Yaya Toure
    Aguero > Rooney

Have the EXACT funds to do it, and would leave me with:

    Foster
    Hutton - Baines - Azpilicueta
    Siggy - Hazard - Yaya - Sanchez
    Kane - Costa - Rooney
    ______________________________
    Hamer: Yun, Albrighton, Moore

OR just do the Chambers and Fabragas moves?

If you have been presiding over it for hours and you like the look and balance do it. If you leave it and a price change up for the ones you want to buy or down for the ones you are selling you will feel bad when you miss out. Then the team you wanted romps in next week. If you have doubts then select the ones you need and not the ones you want.

            A few thoughts:

Direct answers to your question - - Yes and No

I'm in a different situation than you - working to field a full team so Kun / Cesc -> Costa and Haz is what I've done, primarily so I can field a team and partially a valuation move. I worry about Yaya heading off to Africa in a few weeks and would have kept Cesc if not for the other team issues.

Lastly, I just peeked at your rank and I have no business giving you advice!!

My logic behind A is that I'd have a good front 8 for Xmas when rotation will hit hard so a benching dilemma is actually good to have. Plus the fact that I like Cesc's consistency and not sure Costa is worth the cash considering I wouldn't captain him in any of the next 5 I don't think (maybe this week)

If you can field 11, I'd keep Cesc w/o a doubt.
I like D personally, in times where a good bench saves GW's, I feel Yaya is a transfer waiting to happen

          • 11 Years
          11 years, 1 month ago

That is a very good point, rotation on the basis of rest is definitely there.
          Based on form, surely no?

In any case, perhaps going w/o City defender for now is the safer route.
Safe looks like the key word in December

Yep purely for resting reasons. Sagna seems to have featured once every five games or so in place of Zabaleta. Cant remember if it was injuries or what, but I dont like the sight of that.

If you don't have any injury concerns, a good bench, suspended players, then maybe
Risky though, I wouldn't do it IMO, surely you have other concerns, no?
