There is value, but over the course of 5-8 gw's I just don't see anyone who has the consistent enough fixtures to entice me other than Hart. Courtois is a good choice too but I will probably already have 3 Chelsea players
Yeah I think 6m is absurd, but I've had 4 GK's in the last 8 days (Bego-Krul and Fab-Elliot) and am rather tired of rotating, with no clear good choice available apart from Hart who just happens to have the most delightful 5 fixtures one could ever hope for right now... lei CPL wba BUR SUN... With money itb its a no-brainer really.
I guess Aguero's injury means a lot of people have money lying around, so getting a more expensive keeper could work out in the short term. Go for it then ๐

ManC clean sheets the last 3 seasons. Usually start slow and pick up pace, as last season, and this season (perhaps?).I'm not against the decision of getting some City defensive cover, it's more to do with how Hart compares points-wise to alternative keepers.
I agree with you, but we're very close to the Jan WC and I need the best possible GK that money can buy as I have money to burn after my impending Aguero sale, so Hart is an easy choice with his great fixtures.
don't get me wrong... i've advocated for 8.5 on keepers pre-january... but as ManC rotate a lot at the back and generate a lot of CS, there's a case for Hart from the Jan WC forward if you want to get in on ManC's cleanies
whereas, I wouldn't touch Courtois when there's so little rotation at Chelsea alongside attacking threatNot sure I understand the rotation-breeds-CS's logic there... Usually its the stable back 4's that get CS's... like Everton, Arsenal, and Chelsea in the first half of last season, or Saints this season
Fabianski to Hart, I like a lot. Hart is top of my plans for Jan WC and have considered jumping ahead.
Half the game owns Costa, big bet to not at this point with no Aguero on the scene.
Might ditch Kane here too for a -4 and bring in two from Bony/Benteke/SakhoCheers, I think that's the way i will go, minus the Kane part. I think he's very good value and facilitates my rotation policy. If I have spare cash I might convince myself to upgrade him though, we'll see!

Anyone here know why Sakho didn't get any bonus points this weekend? Even though he came on at half time - he scored and hit the post twice!
I kept him whilst he was injured (truthfully had more pressing issues), but after watching the game I'm glad I did. Him and Carol look likely to be starting strikers for the next few games at least...Hitting the post = shot off target.

There's a key difference though: Hart will probably (based on statistics) score better than any other options in defense in the next few weeks, but that can't be said about whoever it is you plan to bring in to be your 3rd defender instead of the aforementioned trio rotating, so that would be a waste of money ๐
