Welcome back to the  Scout Picks Community Champion vote, following our Christmas break from polling. Here’s a reminder of how this works. As part of our revamped Scout Picks, Mark, myself, Paul and a community champion picked by you each week are up against each other. All four teams are then used to decide our final weekly Scout Picks.

We are now looking for Gameweek 21’s Scout Picks Community Champion to represent you and get one over on The Scouts as well as be in with a chance of winning a special prize. The champion who manages the best Gameweek score (or best score from the first ten matches in a double Gameweek) will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

To put yourself forward simply add in your Gameweek 21 Scout Picks. Foreveryone else please upvote the poster you would like to represent you based on their picks.

We only need 11 picks and please be mindful of budget, which has now been increased to 84m. There’s no captain in the picks either and please stick to a designated FPL formation, including no more than three players from one team.

I’ll leave this vote open until 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) when I will announce the winner, who I will then ask to send over his/her final picks plus 200 word explanation to me at jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk by 5pm Thursday January 8.

Any attempts to disrupt the voting process may lead to the team involved being removed at our discretion. Also the comment section below is for those who want to present their teams and vote. If you have any suggestions on how the Scout Picks can be improved further next year please email me rather than leave a comment below.

As a reminder to how the community is doing so far Gameweek 18’s champion Triggerlips shared the wooden spoon with me with just 38 points. Here are the current standings Mark is on 1027, Paul has 1017, I’m on third with 1008 and the Community has 912.

Never had a go at this, but here goes:

    Foster
    Wisdom Hutton Terry
    Hazard Silva Sigurdson Chadli
    Kane Costa Giroud

Foster; The Pulis effect, do I need to say any more?;)

Wisdom Hutton Terry; All solid fixtures, Hull, Leicester and Newcastle are all not at their best so there is strong potential for clean sheets as well as potentially yet another goal for Terry.

Hazard Silva Siggy Chadli; Hazard I don't need to explain, he's at home. Silva, still without Aguero and now without Toure should be City's point of attack and assists. Siggy's form has improved and without Bony will, like Silva, be relied upon for creativity. Chadli had a good game vs Chelsea and hopefully will carry that on against Palace, particularly with Spurs growing confidence.

Costa Kane Giroud; Costa picking up form with chelsea wanting revenge at newcastle. Kane on fire. Giroud back and was on fire. Short but sweet;)

    Many thanks in advance!!

2nd go at this. total 83.9m

    Foster 4.6m
    Terry 6.6m, Trippier 4.8m, Mertesacker 6.0m,
    Hazard 10.7m, Sanchez 11.4m, Siggy 6.8m, Sterling 8.4m
    Costa 11.2m, Kane 5.6m, Jovetic 7.8m

Ben Foster- @ home against a struggling Hull and with Pulis at the helm, a no brainer for me.
John Terry- With goal threat and at home JT really is the Chelsea defender to go for.
Keiran Trippier- Burnley are at home against a QPR team that struggle away from Loftus Road and Im hoping Ings can get on the end of some of Tripps crosses.
Per Mertesacker- Another defender with a home game and after his goal in the cup he may have got the taste of goal.
    Edin Hazard-
Alexis Sanchez- The best 2 midfielder sin the league at present. Hide behind the sofa if you don't own them.
Siggy- @ home against West Ham, on Free kicks. Consistant.
Sterling - plays Sunderland but he is up top and has had returns in recent weeks.
Costa- Home game, safe pick coming back to form.
Kane- Wow, cheap as chips and on fire even though he looks like Gary and Phil Neville's long lost brother. Close that mouth.
Jovetic- I had to get an attacking player in that is playing Everton who are pants right now.
I feel that Jovetic spoils Silva's income. Jov only just pipped Benteke to my final spot.

    Foster

    Debuchy , Lescott , Terry

Sessegon, Sanchez , Siggy , Hazard

    Costa , Falcao , Kane

Foster + Lescott : Hull are not fond of scoring goals of late , Lescott has a massive forehead that attracts the ball and is prime for scoring goals + the Pulis effect

Debuchy : Stoke at home looks like a clean sheet for Arsenal and Debuchy is an attacking full back with the chance of a assist or goal

Terry : Recent attacking returns and Newcastle are in disarray at the min

Sessegnon : Hull are useless and Sessegnon is doing alright http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/public-stats-tables/view/1373/

Sanchez and Hazard : On form and easy fixture

    Siggy : Lethal at home

Kane : excellent fixture + scored two vs Chelsea

Falcao : regular starts , scored last time out and should be fit by now

Costa : Newcastle are a mess and he is the leading scorer

    Hamer* (4.0)

    Hutton* (4.4), Skrtel (5.8)**, Trippier (4.8),

    Hazard (10.7), Sanchez (11.4), Eriksen*** (8.2), Ramsey**** (8.7)

    Ings***** (5.6), Berahino***** (5.4), Kane (5.6)

    Total = 74,6

*given that Villa can't score and Benteke refuses to reward his faithful FPL owners, I see a clean sheet with bonus for Hutton and Hamer

**I'm hoping Skrtel's return leads to some defensive solidity, a clean sheet and bonus

***"He who must not accrue a single point when his team scored 5" scores when you least expect it, particularly away from home

****a risky choice but if he does come back and play, he's bound to score against the team that once broke his leg - just like how players always score against their former clubs. The logic is unfallible.

*****These two budget forwards deserve to be here. How can you ignore such a consistent performer playing against another ex-Championship team and a player that's announced his return to form with four goals (non-celebration notwithstanding)?

    Foster (HUL)
Debuchy (STO) - Terry (NEW) - Trippier (QPR)
Sanchez (STO) - Hazard (NEW) - Fabregas (NEW) - Chadli (cpa)
Giroud (STO) - Rooney (SOU) - Kane (cpa)

    84m

    - I've tripled up on Arsenal and Chelsea in a weekend where I expect both to win comfortably at home. As many are considering doing on their WC, I've opted for Hazard and Fabregas over Costa - both are such consistent point scorers that this is hardly a miss.
    - I've also doubled up on the Spurs attack which put five past Chelsea. Putting their price to one side, when in the team, Chadli and Kane have been two of the most direct players in the league this season, and a trip to Selhurst Park will hold no fear for them.
    - Foster could be set to benefit from the start of the Tony Pulis era at home to Hull, but even if it takes a little time for Pulis to set things straight, Foster is always good for save points.
    - Kieran Trippier is a great bet for points at both ends of the pitch at home to QPR. With Barnes and Ings in good form, he now finds himself with options to aim his endless stream of crosses at - a luxury he e has been without for much of the season.
    - Finally, I've gone for Wayne Rooney. He may be playing in a deeper role, but as well as being on set piece duties, the consistency of his goalscoring at Old Trafford has been somewhat overlooked on here this season. He has scored in 6 of his 7 home games, racking up 7 goals and 2 assists. Do not be surprised to see him pop up and settle what could be a tight game against the Saints.

Having a go at it again!:
    TV=82.7m
    Foster(HUL)
    Trippier(QPR)-Terry(NEW)-Hutton(lei)
    Sanchez(STK)-Hazard(NEW)-Di Maria(SOU)-Sterling(sun)
    Kane(cry)-Costa(NEW)-Ings(QPR)

In goal, Ben foster should be able to keep a clean sheet against Hull to continue Tony Pulis's solid start at West Brom

Doubling up on Burnley seems risky but they should be able to achieve a good result against a travel sick QPR , The form of Ings and attacking threat of Trippier should put them in the points.

Chelsea face an injury struck Newcastle and tripling up on them seems to be an easy choice, Terry,Hazard and Costa are all in good form and should reap the benefits from this tie.

Villa play Leicster and should keep their run of clean sheets in the last 2 matches and Alan Hutton seem to be a good option from their back 4.

Sterling should be in the attack returns against Sunderland in his new role,Sanchez should be in the points against stoke and should justify his price tag. and Di Maria rounds off my midfield, he looked in good nick on his return and his pace and skill should threaten the Saints.Kane has the form and the fixture and is an easy pick to finish the 11.

Do you agree with the following principles for this gameweek?

QPR will be toothless against Burnley and chances of a CS for the Clarets is high.
Its too soon to back Pulis to turn WBA into a rock, even if it is Hull.
Chelsea will perform against a Pardew-less Newcastle, in a manner we are becoming accustomed to half a season in.
Spurs should have a field day against a "risk taking" Crystal Palace side.
Everton will recover some bite, but still suffer defeat to the boys in sky blue.
Stoke will do there usual job of annoying Arsene Wenger with little points on offer here.
And finally, but perhaps most importantly, ManU and Southampton will be a laughable affair with both teams believing they can win and going onto the pitch in search of blood.

If you agree with the above, then vote for my team. It shall be revealed after the deadline, but needless to say it contains 11 players and costs less than £84.1M

Foster - Hull at home, Pulis effect, and cheap
Ivanovic - close between him and Terry, but Ivan is such flat track bully and take the spot
Trippier - due some attacking returns, QPR form on decline, possible a 1-0 here with Trippier assist
Wisdom - same as Foster, bap magnet as well
Sanchez - Arsenal struggle vs Stoke, but need Sanchez in every team
Hazard - Mr flat track bully himself, new headlines after this game
Siggi - at home vs west ham who will be without Song, Sakho and kouyate
ADM - looked great when playing 30 min in FA cup, will be the punt in this team
Costa - time to shine again? Doing well but we want more
Kane - 18 pts against Chelsea, his price is a joke
Jovetic - focal point in city attack against poor everton

First time doing this, thought i'd give it a go

    Heaton
    Lescott - Cissokho - Terry
    Coutinho - Chadli - Sanchez - Hazard
    Berahino - Falcao - Costa

    83.8m

Heaton - Foster will be a popular pick this week, but i'm gonna avoid double West Brom and go with Heaton at home against QPR.
Lescott - The Pulis effect. Fancy him over Wisdom due to his potential to nick a goal.
Cissokho - Villa haven't conceded more than one goal in a game since GW 10 and are going for their third clean sheet in a row. He's been in amongst the BAPS recently too.
Terry - Playing very well, home to Newcastle is tasty.
Coutinho - Returns in his last 4, should be a nuisance against Sunderland.
Chadli - Similar form to Coutinho, can see him causing Palace problems.
Sanchez & Hazard - Two of the best in football. Newcastle and Stoke at home.
Berahino - Deadly in the Cup, Hull at home a good chance to impress Pulis again.
Falcao - Looking a lot fitter, I fancy him to score this weekend.
Costa - Should get plenty chances against a ropey Newcastle defence.

    Cheers.

    I figure I'll give this a go.

Guzan - Two c/s in a row and playing a toothless Leicester
Terry - Three goals in the last four games plus c/s potential
Trippier - Good opportunity for an assist or two
Debuchy - Attacking threat and Arsenal have good record v Stoke at Emirates
Coutinho - Low selection % and 28 points in last four
Hazard - Top point scorer overall and likely to run riot against a hapless Newcastle
Sanchez - Second top point scorer. Scored 9, 9 and 10 in last 3 home games
Silva - Man City will look to dominate this game and Everton can't buy a win at this moment
Costa - Joint top goalscorer, managerless Newcastle, potential devastation
Austin - Burnley concede a lot of chances in the box. Bread and butter for Austin
Ings - Copy and paste above statement but replace with QPR and Ings - Potential for goals!

    83.4 in total

Vote for it if you like it 🙂

Time to run riot on this...

    Hamer
    Trippier Konchesky Cahill
    Sterling Chadli Hazard Di Maria
    Kane Jovetic Costa

    £79.2m - easy.

    Where do we begin?

First of all let's look at the back.

Both Aston Villa and QPR have scored the least amount of goals on the road - a measly four in 10 and 9 games respectively. That can't be ignored, and with Trippier's attacking threat to add the points should come rolling in. Cahill is simple - Chelsea will always be Chelsea.

The midfield is a bit punty, but that's what this game is all about. Hazard and Di Maria are quality players - you can expect shots on goals, trickery and the odd assist. It'd be foolish to leave them out. Sterling is a bit of an easy pick - he's playing against a Sunderland team who've shipped 30 goals this season, out of position. One way or another, I can't see him missing out on the points. Chadli is thriving this season under Pochettino and I can see him scoring easily.

What do you want from your strikers? Goals. Jovetic may be returning, but he's shown he can be trusted as City's front-line leader when finally fit and he'll be given chance after chance against an Everton team extremely short of confidence. Kane and Costa speak for themselves, they score goals and look to enjoy relatively good fixtures.

I also don't believe Arsenal will have a good time against Stoke. Call me brave but they'll struggle and probably end in a stalemate.

    Lloris - Palace (A) - 5.6
    Wisdom - Hull (H) - 4.6
    Debuchy - Stoke (H) - 5.2
    Clark - Leicester (H) - 4.3
    Hazard - Newcastle (H) - 10.7
    Cazorla - Stoke (H) - 8.2
    Sterling - Sunderland (A) - 8.4
    Boyd - QPR (H) - 4.6
    Falcao - Soton (H) - 10.5
    Costa - Newcastle (H) - 11.2
    Gomis - West Ham (H) - 6.5

    83.8m

    Main points are:
8 good home fixtures along with Falcao home to southampton who have been proven to struggle against top 4 teams
Defence all have fixtures against weak attacks (now diouf and bojan are out for stoke)
Hazard and Costa vs managerless newcastle
Gomis impressive in cup and definite starter now Bony is gone
Sterling still playing as striker and no lallana to steal points
Cazorla is a good differential for Sanchez who, when he fails in a week, Santi steps in with big points.
A few differentials with enough obvious choices

Hello there. Do you like my team? Pop your vote on for me then and watch as I smash those scouts to bits on your behalf!

    Foster (HUL)
Trippier (QPR) Terry & Ivanovic (NEW)
Sanchez & Cazorla (STO) Hazard (NEW) Chadli (cry)
Kane (cry) Jovetic (eve) Berahino (HUL)

    78.7

Would you like to know why I've chosen these players? You would? Read on then....

    Foster
Let's face it, Hull are a bit rubbish aren't they and Tony Pulis has just turned up with his Defence for Dummies manual so it'd be rude not to really.

    Trippier
It's QPR and they are terrible away. Ok they've got Charlie Austin but he's not all that really and Mr Trippier hasn't half got a decent cross in him. I'm thinking a cleanie and a couple of assists there thank you very much.

    Terry and Ivanovic
Er hello, it's Terry and Ivanovic. Goals, cleanies, baps you name it. Hey we're on for a whopper here at this rate and we've only just done the defence.

    Sanchez and Cazorla
It's Stoke and they're actually in decent form. At home that is, not so much away!. Arsene hates Stoke so the players will be under strict instructions to absolutely batter them. I like to think of these two as a sort Batman and Robin duo. Sanchez will get a brace and Cazorla will dutifully supply the assists. Say no more.

    Hazard
I thought I'd throw at least one punt in there

    Chadli
Bang in form sort of so fingers crossed hey.

    Berahino
He wants a move. He's in the shop window and Pulis will play him. He scored 4 against Gateshead so I'll be expecting at least 5 versus Hull!

    Jovetic
Stats are good if you read the Big Numbers article. No yaya, Silva no good now either and I'm not picking James Milner so who else is there to bring in a mammoth haul against Wigan?

    Kane
One for the Kane benchers such as myself. He owes us big time!

    83.1

I've seen too many similar teams and so i went with a team of differentials. I won't give an explanation because i'm going back to watch The Wire for the 5th time in the last ten years.

    Hi lads

Have been following this pretty much to the whole season and am now having a crack at one myself. The community is struggling and but we can turn this around. Starting this week with this team.

    Fabianski
    Terry, Lescott, Trippier
    Sanchez, Hazard, Di Maria, Sessegnon
    Costa, Jovetic, Kane

    83.2

Fabianski: CS Potential and save points home to West Ham. A safe choice this week at 5.2

Terry: Obvious choice from the big hitters. 3 goals in 4 along with his CS/BAP potential makes him one of the first names on the team sheet. Oh and he is home to Newc....

    Lescott: Pulis

Trippier: Tasty fixture, loves to get forward for an assist. Nice flair pick here

Sanchez: "Watching Alexis Sanchez is better than having sex mate" Home to stoke, explosive, need i say more?

Hazard: Home fixtures are his thing.

Di Maria: Man is a class above. Scored in the cup and will be looking to make an imminent impact in the league this gw

Sessengon: Da f***??? i hear u say. Take a closer look, he has 4 assists in his last 5. Home to rubbish Hull. We know he has been a good fantasy option in the past and this week he will show that again.

Costa: Yes, yc magnet and bap repellent but it wouldn't be surprising if he scored a hatty vs newcastle

Jovetic: Form is excellent and Everton at the back have been woeful.

    Kane: Form and fixture.

    Vote FG community. 😉

    Join Team Rossamous ftw.

    Foster (4.6)
    Debuchy (5.2) Terry (6.6) Trippier (4.8)
    Hazard (10.7) Cazorla (8.2) Eriksen (8.2) Silva (9.3)
    Costa (11.2) Kane (5.6) Falcao (10.5)

    TV= 84.4

Foster: At home to a toothless Hull side who have failed to score goals in 4 of their previous 6. Tony Pullis at the helm will strengthen West Brom's resolve further.

Debuchy: An attacking fullback (one goal and one assist to date) who is the cheapest of Arsenal's rearguard. Koscielny is back to strengthen Arsenal's CS prospects. Stoke has scored 2 goals in their previous 5.

Terry: The three goals over the Christmas period speak for themselves. Newcastle is scrambling at the moment, and with Cisse off to ACON, they will need to do a lot to score against a tough defense that will be eager to atone for last week's blip.

Trippier: Has by far the most crosses of any defender. QPR are in relegation form at the moment. Potential for points at both ends of the pitch here.

Hazard: Top scoring player in the FPL game with an easy home fixture.

Cazorla: Will be playing in the hole against Stoke. Wide players in Walcott and Sanchez are fit and available to make runs against a sluggish Stoke backline. Giroud available to send crosses to. On penalties. Cheapest route into Arsenal's attack. On form with attacking returns in 4 of the previous 6.

Eriksen: Disappointment of not being involved at the end of last weekend's stat sheet. Alan Pardew yet to settle in as manager for Palace. 3 goals against City and Saints in the previous 4 speak to Palace's defensive solidity. Eriksen, with set pieces in his locker, will create enough chances to reward owners.

Silva: Creative genius. If you haven't shipped Baines yet, then this is the week to do so.

Costa: The league's leading goal scorer up against Krul who has been out for a while. May not be up to match sharpness while Costa is starting to regain his.

Kane: Two goals and two assists last week against Chelsea was too good to ignore. He will be firmly entrenched in my starting XI for the foreseeable future.

Falcao: More of a punt. Attacking returns in 3 out of the last 4. With RVP faltering, Rooney deployed in central midfield, and ADM now available, Falcao may be the most enticing pick of the bunch. I can only see ADM's creativity helping Falcao's cause with through-balls and crosses, as long as he is the more lively of United's forwards.

I hope you like my team.

Anybody who picks the Burnley keeper, disqualifies themselves, imo.
