I already knew it but hits for DGW players are rarely worth it.
Would've had my best GW score and rank this season with 100 points and a top 30k rank, if I had captained Citizen Kane instead of Aguero.
I've made a lot of stupid decisions this far, but that by far has been the most idiotic and unnecessary one of them all. What a dullard I was (am?) for that, deserved the red arrow like no other. Goes to show when you take one too many punts and go for it for differentials sake, you just end up hurting yourself (generally). Just shot myself in the foot there.

Yep. When people were considering Aguero (C) over Kane it had disaster written all over it.
In a week like this when Kane has 90%+ captaincy in Top 10K and 1K it's not the week to captain a SGW player, there's too much to lose. In another week when captaincy is more spread, that's the week to take more of a puntAye, complete rookie mistake on my part.

Don't be too hard on yourself Zasa, you're still in the top 2% which isn't bad in your first season. Chasing is a balancing act between punting and going with the obvious choices to avoid falling further behind.

Sure is a tricky balancing act. Some weeks more so than others. I couldn't go against Kane in the double this week, the guy is playing like a £12m FPL striker despite being half the price (or just under a third if you got him as early as me!) Then again I didn't follow through on on captaining Puncheon when I threatened to and that would have landed me more points in his triple assist week than I got from my safe captain choice.

He was still a good choice. Hindsight is wonderful but Aguero could easily have banged in a hatty and then you'd be laughing.
It was a massive risk though with Kanes Captaincy percentage and the fact that he had two games the likelihood of a blank was always pretty slim

There are some good cleansheet potential in the lower teams.
Sunderland, WBrom (which I have) and there's zouma. But I want a punt and get toby in the game afterANd the advantage of course of Schlupp is he can sit on your bench and get a DGW in a few weeks time.
I think the advantage is because of eriksen. Man United rarely concede more than 1 goal these days, so any punt with eriksen on the bench could go well. Puncheon would be an excellent punt
