Nikica Jelavic faces a spell on the sidelines after undergoing knee surgery. West Brom have worries over their front two for the trip to City. QPR have concerns in defence ahead of Everton’s visit. Eljero Elia is available for Southampton’s home clash with Burnley, whilst Jason Puncheon and Wilfried Zaha are both still doubtful as Palace pay visit to Stoke.

Hull’s hopes for survival have been rocked with confirmation that Nikica Jelavic faces a minimum of six weeks on the sidelines after successfully undergoing knee surgery. Steve Bruce has also revealed that Liam Rosenior, James Chester, Mo Diame and Robbie Brady returned to training yesterday but the weekend clash against Chelsea is likely to come too soon.

Garry Monk welcomes back Federico Fernandez for the trip to Villa, with the Argentine returning to the squad after missing out against Liverpool for family reasons.

Villa, meanwhile, remain without Ron Vlaar due to a calf problem, with Tim Sherwood confirming there is no change to the injury situation following last week’s victory.

Crystal Palace remain without Marouane Chamakh for the trip to Stoke, with the Moroccan struggling to overcome a hamstring injury. Alan Pardew is also sweating on the status of Jason Puncheon and Wilfried Zaha, after both were forced off with knocks in the win over QPR. The pair faces late fitness tests, with Pardew confirming that they would be back in time for Gameweek 31, if not on Saturday.

Chris Ramsey has revealed that Mauricio Isla (knee) will be assessed ahead of the weekend visit of Everton, while youngster Darnell Furlong remains a doubt with a calf injury. Meanwhile, Ramsey remains hopeful that Rio Ferdinand will be fit to return to the squad against the Toffees.

Nigel Pearson will again be without the services of Dean Hammond who is battling a calf injury, while Anthony Knockaert remains unavailable for selection due to personal reasons. Kasper Schmeichel is “under consideration” for a start between the sticks, after stepping up his fitness with an outing for the U21’s earlier this week.

Eljero Elia is fit to return to the squad at the weekend after overcoming an ankle problem, with Ronald Koeman confirming that the Saints have no fresh injury concerns.

Arsenal’s Tomas Rosicky could be set to return for the trip to Newcastle after missing last weekend through illness. Elsewhere, Arsene Wenger concedes that long-term injury absentees Mathieu Debuchy and Mikel Arteta are still at least three weeks away from a return to action.

West Brom have doubts over front two Saido Berahino and Brown Ideye for the trip to City, whilst Jonas Olsson is also a worry due to calf and ankle problems.

John Carver faces a defender crisis as Newcastle square up against Arsenal, after confirming that Massadio Haidara remains sidelined for the weekend. The Newcastle boss also revealed that resources are stretched, with only 13 fit senior player and two goalkeepers available for selection this weekend.

    2 Transfers ITB
Foster ---> Myhill + Boyd -----> Mane + 0.2 ITB - Slightly concerned Foster - Myhill may be pointless as unlikely WBA will keep a clean sheet

    OR

    Sanchez ----> Mane + Berahino -----> Giroud + 3.4 ITB

My League rival does not have Sanchez

    Hi Guys
Team at present with 1 FT. Any changes needed? I've actually got too many choice for starting 11 it feels.

    Forster (Sub De Gea)
Clyne Rose Kompany Terry (Sub Bellerin)
Coutinho Sanchez Hazard (Sub Boyd & Phillips)
    Kane Aguero Giroud (c)
Unsure on Giroud as captain, may opt for Aguero but can't see City scoring many.

Can't seem him doing much away at Hull surely? They've tightened up quite a bit of late.
The defensive crisis at Newcastle is drawing me towards Giroud and can't afford to be rested at present.

I'm playing Ki after with GW.
If it wasn't for blank week they've got, i'd say Sinclair.
      What about Bolasie or Cambiasso?

ye i am tempted by ki, but be wary about his game time, always seems not to play the full 90 and i think someone like siggy is definitely worth the extra 1,3. ye i like bolaise shout. think mahrez has more of a attacking threat then cambiasso...

For -4, thinking of bringing in Phillips now for Walters. Is this worth it? If not Phillips this week then Boyd starts against a stubborn Southampton defense.
