Liverpool’s upcoming run of three very favourable fixtures affords Luis Suarez a climb in our updated Watchlist rankings.

Two goals in his last three games have seen the Uruguayan return to form, having previously drawn blanks in the previous three fixtures as the Reds were sent tumbling to defeat at Stoke and Spurs. Steven Gerrard’s return in last Saturday’s game with Man United confirmed Andy Carroll’s game time may be limited; Dirk Kuyt looks a more suitable partner for Suarez up top, making the Uruguayan the only Liverpool Fantasy-classified forward with seemingly assured starts right now.

From Gameweek 9-11 Suarez squares up to (NOR, wba, SWA) and the prospects look enticing. The Canaries have yet to chalk up a clean sheet and have conceded 3 goals at Chelsea and 2 away to Man United- Kenny Dalglish’s side will expect to grab a couple at least here.

The following game at West Brom may be trickier than it looks, though- the Baggies have conceded just one goal in their last three home games but after that, Swansea roll up to Anfield. Brendan Rodgers’ side have shipped an average of 3 goals per game on their travels and the omens look good for Suarez; he’s already scored and picked up maximum bonus points in two of his four games at Anfield this term.

While Champions League football has seen rest and rotation amongst the Manchester clubs, Liverpool’s lack of European competition suggests Suarez is virtually a guaranteed starter. With testing fixtures against Chelsea and Man City to subsequently follow, the Reds will be looking for maximum points beforehand to maintain their chase of the European places.

Suarez, at 9.5 and with 37% Fantasy ownership –the third-highest in the game at present- surely looks set to plunder the Fantasy points over those next three Gameweeks. With such a high percentage of owners, any substantial returns could see those Fantasy managers without his services suffer a tumble down the rankings as a consequence.

    REPOST

I have the cash to do Ageuro to Suarez 😀
    Is it a good idea??
Should I wait for a while??
Or even not make the transfer at all?
    Please discuss

I really want Enrique for this week as I don't have any Liverpool, and want to make a little bit of cash, but who should I get rid of out of Richards, Bosingwa, Jones
    Thanks 😀

ok theo walcott is destroying me, have had 3 really good weeks recently but could have oh so much better if i had bitten the bullet and got rid of him. got ramsey in pre-price rise last week as my arsenal cover with a view to shipping him out but i just cant seem to find the right replacement this week:

    current squad as follows:

    Given Ruddy
Enrqiue Kompany Shawcross Simpson N Taylor
    Ramsey Sinclair Silva Walcott Moses
    Suarez Rooney Adebayor.

    0.7 in the bank.

Players likely to come out soon are Walcott, Moses and possibly Simpson if Santon comes in at RB.

Any ideas for transfers this week or sit tight? Doubt Walcott will start against Stoke on Sunday.

Will S Taylor and simpson keep their places this season?

and is Upson likely to get into the team on a more consistent basis?

also, would you expect kolarov and baird to get more games?

      S Taylor- most def.

Simpson- despite being prretty pants hes been a regular for last couple of seasons, so most likely going to continue starting and is first choice RB. less solid than taylor but still 90% up to Januaury.

Upson- not likely.Stoke have a shed load of CBs, andd gooduns. so unlikely. Upsons mostly being played in Europe, Woodgate in PL. Upson can dabble as LB though, but hasn't for stoke and unlikely to unless serious injuries. Also as a west ham fan I can say he was crap all last year, and really turned in a captains perfomance week in, week out. Captain of a team that finished dead last and couldn't keep a clean sheet that is.

Kolarov shoulg get more games, hes well good, but Mancini is rotating heavily atm and full backs are his major swap piece so stay well clear. Esp as Kol has been earmarked for Europe.

Baird- who knows. Only Lorey Sanches has ever been Northern Irish enough to pick him as far as I know.

    Hennessy, Begovic
N.Taylor, R. Taylor, Gibbs, Bosingwa, Enrique
    Ramsey, Dyer, Ferguson, Gerrard, Silva
    Adebayor, Rooney, Sturridge

I have 4.1 in the bank, just enough to do
    Ramsey -> VDV
    Gibbs -> Kompany

worth a 4 pt hit?? You might say not this week because doubt man city will keep a clean sheet, but if there is a price rise I might miss the chance..

Would it be a crazy move to swap Suarez for Drogba this week, its his last game before Torres takes over again. I rekon Drogba will go out with a point to prove. Or should i just play safe and leave Suarez in there? Who ever i choose will be made captain.

Yeah Im not having all this "Liverpool gonna rip Norwich a new one" this gw. Norwich sitting quite handliy in 9th only 4 points off the Pool - there are better better target defences this gw - Blackburn's and Wigan's for example. I just dont see the predicted goal fest at Anfield that punters on here would have you believe!!

I just got rid of Drogba for Suarez!
Apparently he's played badly in the last two games, i went with the "he'll be out to prove a point" theory against Bolton....he got one assist!
I then kept him for the last game, and he did nothing!
Suarez's fixtures are too good to ignore, plus if you buy Drogba you'll have to get rid of him next week....

Worried about my defence. Have 2 FT and have brought in Enrique in place of Mertesacker with one of them. Problem now I have 1.4m in bank but have Simpson who I think is going to be dropped by Pardew to make way for Santon and I have Delaet who hasnt played. Who would you bring in to replace either of them with. Quite pleased with rest of my team unless you guys can see another alternative transfer. Advice please:-

    Given, (Vorm)

    Bosingwa, Simpson, Enrique, (Brown, Delaet)

    Silva, Nani, Jarvis, Petrov, (Ferguson)

    Adebayor, Suarez (c), Rooney

    0.4m in the bank.

Plenty of Norwich cover and BJohnson seems to be doing well.
Slash the above to threads and dent my confidence before my questions

    A) Arteta and Adebayor -> Ramsey and Van Persie

      Good team overall.
      A) Like myself you want to get in Van Persie, but It would be hard to get rid of Adebayor. Ramsey for Arteta is a good choice. But maybe holding out for another week until you do this would do no harm.
B)Would stick with Mata this week as he has a good fixture, maybe switch him after that.
C)It's hard to do nothing but maybe save your transfer could be the best option.

Tell me what you think of my team:

    Given-(Ruddy)
    Kompany-Walker-Jose Enrique- (Simpson) – (Gabbidon)
    Arteta-Ramsey-Silva-Bale (Ferguson)
    Rooney-Suarez -Adebayor

My team misfired last week. At the back I think I'll stick with Given for a few more weeks. Kompany and Enrique are must keeps, not sure if I made the right decision with bringing Walker in but I'll stick with him. In midfield Bale has misfired so far but has a good run of fixtures so might stick with him. Thinking of getting rid of Arteta maybe for someone cheaper like Scott Sinclair or Walters. Silva might not score much this week again but not worth transferring him out, Ramsey is a keeper. Up front I'd love Van Persie in my team but can't drop Adebayor, Suarez has a 3 weeks of good fixtures and Rooney is Rooney, but his form dipped recently. Only option would to swap Rooney for Van Persie and this could be a mistake. My bench is poor, Simpson is okay but Ferguson has got no game time and Gabbidon is injured and has a terrible fixture list. Any thoughts?
