No Gylfi pleasure for me, Dempsey heartbreak more like. A trip to the Cottage inspired the decision to throw my FPL armband the way of Captain America, only for Sigurdsson to steal the thunder and banish me to a miserable tube ride home.

Mark lends an (un)sympathetic ear in this latest episode, as we roll through the regulars whilst discussing how we’re all heading back to the drawing board for our third striker solution.

Thanks. I know long-term Silva is better but the kid is taking the p*ss.

What about Ba and Shotton OUT for Yakubu/Hoilett and Kompany/Vermaelen IN?

By the way some on here are deliberating about the third striker spot, am I correct in assuming you all have rvp AND rooney?

Tough week to pick a captain for me this week with rvp, rooney, valencia and sigy all with home ties is tough to pick as every one you could make a case for ! so far ive pencilled in rooney but after last weeks defensive midfielder role it leaving me doubting whether to give him the cap role..for some reason i feel rvp will have a quieter than normal weekend this weekend so maybe a gamble on valencia as im thinking he will be playing a role more attacking than rooney??
    Any views?

      Dirtman says:

for some reason I had a feeling that rvp would have a quiet one today and ended up going with rooney..incredible that arse scored 3 and rvp had nothing from that but happy enough as the guy that’s top of my league went with rvp…im 70 behind him now so i need to take risks is the way i see it..i knew he’d go for rvp just hope rooney plays a more attacking role 2moz!

“I love to attack and I love to go up front...It is a little more difficult than when you are playing centre-back. If you play the way that I want to play, I think my influence is better as a left-back. For the team, it is best that I play as a centre-back. I like to bring the ball out. You need to move the game quickly, and that is one of my qualities as well.”

Jan Vertonghen outlines what he feels is his best position for Andre Villas-Boas
