One man’s personal battle to mastermind his beloved Fantasy Football team through extreme adversity steals the show in this week’s episode of the ScoutCast – and we’re not talking about Granville struggling with his BAFTA award-winning hangover.

Episode 99 has all the usual ingredients as we look back on Gamweek 28, rinse through the Gameweek 29 options, pop in to disturb the Professor and his Rate My Team computer, analyse the transfer ins and outs and, of course, give another community member the “Fully Jonty” treatment.

Jonty delivers a heart-warming and rather humbling account this week, emphasising just how far the dedicated Fantasy manager will go to steer his ship. Postponing your bedbath to play your Wildcard? You better believe it.

Enjoy our bedside manner via this link or drip-feed the medicine by using the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Yeah exactly, but you know how the press are.........create a story, circulate it amongst themselves, print it and then believe it.

If it's right, pat on the backs all round, if wrong, quickly move on to the next pile of guff to deflect their failures.....

My main rival in a money ML has 9 players out this weekend, and has Sterling, so effectively 10! 🙂

He has his WC but it isn't active yet, so this could be a great week to pull away.

Logic is that my defense is
Zabaleta Davies Harte Pearce Cameron.. so if i dont do it this week i'll get 0 from Cameron and next week i'll have to play one of my reading guys away to manu!! Samba should score 4 more points than Cameron + Harte over GW 29 and GW 30(as they'll likely score 0)

    WHO AM I?

I was born in an igloo in a country called Iceland, or more commonly known as Canadia.
As a child, I partook in a wide variety of sports including ice hockey, ice skating, doing ice and curling.
My best friend was a penguin. He was a nice guy. I loved everything aboot him, eh.
My favourite band is Simple Plan and my favourite singer is Justin Beaver.
Nowadays, I’m a full-time professional FPL player. Although my rank clearly states that I am ranked 1820th, I believe that I am the best in the world at FPL.

Just because Benteke has drawn a blank against two very good teams everyone seems to have forgotten his elite class.

Benteke is the only player I don't own who I'd want to captain. but iId rather do Bale keep Rooney and avoid a hit.

Yeah they should be allowed to do the first part but not the second bit i.e. get away with it. The press can report whatever they want, even if it is a blatant attempt to derail the club and upset the camp. What I don't like is that the club and Sir Alex are the bad guys when they show these liars the door and essentially tell them to go f*$k themselves.

Both are within their rights to take the action they did IMO.

    Three quick questions.

    1. Best sub 5,4m striker as a punt this week and a future 8th attacking player (bench fold). Currently thinking ALF or Weimann

    2. Best one week punt striker? (will change him to RvP next week). Currently thinking Benteke, Lukaku, Cisse, Lambert, Remy, Holt (already got Suarez)

    3. Captain Bale or Suarez (currently leaning towards Bale given his unbelievable form lately)

    Sissoko (c) ?

Playing against a team bottom of the form league in 2013. Could be up top if Cisse doesn't make it.

    Could be golden.

either Taarabt to Sissoko or Cameron to Samba for me.. think Sissoko will be worth it tbh

If Cisse doesn't play 0-0 is not impossible. The recent midweek Europa results (two out of last 3 0-0) and less than 3 days rest after an away game in Europe would leave me very doubtful.

Despite Stoke not doing well and not keeping clean sheets, they have actually been conceding that many.

Just starting to look at my transfers this week, planning to get a midfielder in (I only have 2 available as it stands) but there's such a paucity of options I'm really struggling to see who's worth using a transfer on. Michu (Swansea don't score away and West Brom are tight at home), Snodgrass? N'Zogbia? Sessegnon? Taarabt? Meh. 😕

struggling with my FT's so need some advise

    bunn (ddg)
davies cueller harte --- onouha baines ---
michu bale wally --- maloney fellaini ---
    rvp sturridge benteke

Planning to take out a mid + def (fellaini/maloney/onouha/baines) >> xxx + xxx but not sure which mid and def to take out. I really want mata for gw30 onwards. Which combo do you prefer

    A: any def upto 6.4 + onouha + sissoko + mata
    B: baines + wilson + maloney + sissoko (then sissoko > mata in gw30)
    C: debuchy + onouha + fellaini + sissoko (then sissoko > mata in gw30)
    D: baines + wilson + maloney + sissoko (then sturridge >suarez in gw30)

If mostly planning on playing a 3-4-3 (Like most of us are I assume), is there really any decent 5th mids left in the game that haven't gone way up in price or aren't just 2 pointer players?

Have previously had a got rid of Sterling and Puncheon and am now stuck with Guthrie and it doesn't seem there's anybody worth replacing him with!

    Hi Fellas

Real dilemma and need some input here please.

    Bego
    Evans, Evra, Zab, Davies, Harte
    Bale, Countinho, Sissoko, Michu, Walcott
    Suarez, RVP, Lambert

Please help choose the better long term option

    A: Evra < Saylor GW30: Lambert < Roonpig
    B: Evra < Saylor GW30/1: Sissoko < Mata

    Thanks
