Following on from the first in this series of three articles which analyse the new Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Bonus Points System (BPS), we now switch attention to creativity and assess how the playmakers are benefiting.

In this article, I’ll examine which creative elements play a part, how influential they are in determining the bonus point awards and cast an eye over the most impressive performers across the last few Gameweeks.

Was going to say Vidic but he's there. Seems like Dawson is nailed on, is (c) and Spurs are looking good at the back with their double pivot working wonders in front of the back four. I go rid a while back, kinda wish I'd kept tbh

What efforts shud be put in to be a successful FPL manager ?
    1) Watch all the matches
    2) Check out underlying stats
    3) Monitor price rises / falls
    4) Only watch MOTD highlights
    5) Ask fellow managers for advise
    6) All of the above.

Remove the 'Only' from 4 tho. I cannot watch all matches, but watch all I can. FPL is a full time hobby tbh. Always thinking about the next few games, have a twitter feed notification for footbal news and FFS so I'm on the ball. Although you wouldn't think so this season!!!!!

I think 1) and 3) are most essential.
      - When you do 1) you don't need 2) and 4)
      - you don't always get the right answer with 5)

Certainly 1) solves every doubt in our mind, but is the most difficult but rewarding thing to do. 5) can be a bit tricky of whether to follow or not follow the suggestion.

I'd agree with La Roja - all three will be playing when fit - they are our three best attacking players.

Coutinho is supposed to be out of action till November though, so I wouldn't worry about this for a few weeks yet...

IMO Suarez is the better fantasy player if you can afford him, but honestly they are both equally dangerous in current form so as I've said to others - it's a coin flip

Not doing trannies til Friday - but good to get a consesus

    Vidic Turner Coleman Zabaleta

Not a Liverpool fan but i imagine GJ will be the best option when he returns. Should be back for GW 9, if not this week. Can't see him not being nailed on in either system, especially 4 at the back.

As it stands, I am 0.3 shy of my plan to do Rooney and Paulinho > Benteke and Walcott when confirmed fit. Would of given me:

    Mignolet
    Coleman - Terry - Zabaleta
    Walcott - Michu - Silva - Barkley
    Giroud - Sturridge - Benteke

    Boruc - Whittingham - Clyne - Chester

    Can't see it happening 🙁

I personally doubt it but even if he does, comparing the entire combinations:

          A) Lukaku, Benteke & Walcott
          B) Giroud, Rooney & Paulinho

A looks like a hands down winner regardless of Giroud's individual performances

        This.

Swansea are in the mix for their amazing fixtures (SUN, WHM, car, STO) but haven't shown as much defensive form as I would like, especially with Davies and Williams crocked

Swansea, regardless of their great fixtures, are not renowned as a great defensive side. They are considered a great footballing side. Therefore Swansea defenders are not an essential acquisition. Michu is.

Asked this earlier and a) was the resounding winner - same views from the mid morning UK peeps?

Best replacement for Nolan this week ->

    a) Amalfitano (5.1)
    b) Barkley (5.5)
    c) Januzaj (4.7)
    d) Arnautovic (5.5)
    e) Hernandez (5.9)
    f) Nolan, i.e. save the transfer

    With b), d) and e) I CAN'T afford Mirallas -> Walcott next week.

    Boruc, Davis
    Baines, Terry, Zabaleta, Toure, Ward
    Michu, Ramsey, Mirallas, Nolan, Ravel
    Suarez, Giroud, Sturridge
    Bank 0.4m

      a or b

But, a if it allows you to bring in Walcott next week.
Personally, I wouldn't have both Ramsey and Walcott though

Aye, I was thinking of selling Ramsey after GW9, although I did get him at 5.6m so I could even stick with Michu and Walcott as my 2 big hitters in midfield and then rotate Ramsey, Amalf and Ravel depending on fixtures?

Do people really think Ramsey will score well when Walcott and Cazorla returns? I have big doubts.

You can believe what you want. A lot of people believe in Big foot against all the evidence. I can see with my own eyes what he does week in week out.

ATM , he is Arsenal's best midfielder, if not player. In the form of his life. I'm quite sure his prolific goal scoring form will end shortly though. Will probably still bring in the points, but not as much as he has during the start of this season.

Morning all! Had a nice relaxing couple of weeks off the board, hope you've all been keeping well.

My team looks alright for this week, as long as you ignore the bench, so half tempted to save a transfer...but then there's Lukaku.

    Mignolet (Camp)
    Walker Vidic Evra Koscielny (Chester)
    Michu Moses Paulinho (Brady Dikgacoi)
    Rooney Suarez Giroud

Think I'd probably ship Rooney if I was going to get Lukaku in. I know he has 2 home games, but United just don't look convincing. I'm a bit all over the place this season, need some strategic thinking, and I just think getting Lukaku in will give me the funds to rebalance my midfield a bit.

    Any thoughts, chaps?

That is a lovely looking side. Rooney has just as much chance as Lukaku in the next few games. The wolf doesn't care for the opinions of the sheep.

Yeah, he maybe does... BUT, there's a big price difference which will only get smaller.

Will Rooney -> Lukaku give you enough cash for a Moses -> Wally upgrade next week? I thought I heard that Coutinho is due back soon, which could mean limited time for Victor.

I'd be tempted with that then, although it really wouldn't surprise me if Rooney scored well over the next 2 weeks. I'm in a similar boat with Sturridge (also have Suarez). Want Lukaku but can't really justify dropping any of S&S or Giroud.

Yeah that's even tougher. Feels like both of Suarridge is a bit OTT, but they both keep scoring, and I don't know who I'd want to keep!

Yeah, I think one (probably Sturridge) will have to go at some point as they won't both keep scoring most weeks imo. Think I'll keep for another couple of weeks and then perhaps get Benteke/Lukaku in.

Which move would you make from my lot (question above)? Sturridge -> Lukaku can be option g) 😉

i got same front three as you and i really wanna bring in lukaku... would mean drpping either rooney or girloud... won't chuck suarez out.

just can't decide! maybe ditch rooney and bring in januzaj next week... tough. really tough.

Doubt Coutinho will start any games until November. I agree though that when he's back, Victor's spot is under threat. Until then Moses is a decent option at that price, playing in the hole for a side in second place.

johnson back in squad allows hendo or allen to play in the hole. Will probably play a little deeper than moses. Can see pool do this especially away from anfield,

I'd keep Rooney, has been their best player and i'd probably captain him this week.

Do you like Paulinho much? I brought him in and am not 100% convinced by him him at all.

I go by sky sports prices (static, they don't change).

    Mignolet
    davies (curtis), rose, lovren, rat
    mata, hazard, lucas leiva, mirallas
    aguero, rvp

I can make 3 changes and have 1mil in the bank.

    Thoughts?
I was thinking leiva, mata and hazard for ozil, lukaku and barkley.
Or do I need to improve the defense? Or get rid of aguero or rvp?
