The link between a leg injury and the ability to smile is small though.

Knee injury and sliding on knees... big link. 😉

I know what you mean though - was hopeful about Walcott! To be honest, a Yaya injury would suit me, because could do Yaya/Wally -> Silva/Ozil and feel great about my transfers!

Honestly, I've always watched in disbelief as players do knee slides to celebrate. Such an unnecessary injury risk.

But for Yaya to do it, 15 minutes after limping around with a knee problem, is madness.

    Davis, Mannone
    Kosc, Chiriches, Clyne, Ward, Chester
    Yaya, Silva, Haz, Ozil, Canas,
    Suar, Negredo, JRod

Have enough money to switch Neg -> Aguero when he fit.

Defence rotates very nicely over next 8 weeks or so.

As a 1 or 2 week punt would u switch Negredo with any other striker until Aguero is fit? Cheers

Since I'm a Norwegian I thought I might as well try to give you my opinions about what to expect from OGS and Cardiff in the future, since I've been following his work at Molde for a couple of seasons. I hope you'll learn something from it. Not everything is FPL relevant, but I'll throw it out there nevertheless.

It seems to me that he has brought with him a lot of the same values as Ferguson had. As a manager he wants to be in total control of the club. Nothing goes unnoticed in his regime. I'm quite sure Tan has promised that he won't interfere, otherwise OGS wouldn't have taken the job.

The Ferguson values also related to the way Molde played football. His style is very attacking and open. This kind of football is not very usual in Norway, due to lack of skills (Yes, the league is awful). However, he made it work. He won 3 titles in the 3 years he was manager there. But, in the Norwegian league his players was mostly superior to the players of the other teams. Now with Cardiff, this is not the case. I'm a bit afraid that the attacking style might be a bit too ambitious against bigger sides. Only time will tell 🙂

The style relies on possession, and throwing a lot of players up the pitch. This is why he brought in Magnus Wolff Eikrem. This guy was in ManUtd reserves as a youngster(which then was managed by OGS), and when he was appointed manager in Molde he took Magnus with him. In Molde, Magnus was the key player of his system, linking the attacking and midfield. He is a good passer of the ball, and has a good touch.

I think in terms of FPL I think we could expect less CS than before due to the open and attacking style. We could also expect more return from the attacking players.
I'm not sure how the new signing and playstyle will affect the current line-up with Noone, Mutch, Campbell and Whittingham (as the most interesting players FPL wise). I'm not even sure Wolff Eikrem is ready to play in PL. However, keep in mind that he will favor a playing side.

I hope this helped you, somehow 🙂

    On my wildcard, and be playing about for ages, but it's looking like this so far;

    Mcgregor - 3.9

    Terry -- kos -- nastastic -- Coleman -- ward

    Hazard -- lallana -- ozil -- eriksen -- cabaye

Chamakh -- jay Rodriguez -- Suarez

I know strike force is weak, but will be moving towards getting argue to in with Suarez over the next few weeks. And a 4-5-1 should work until then.

Does this look alright for now? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Would disagree with that. Theoretically in second half the teams are more worried about relegation, so they put up a great fight against bigger opponents and usually score.

The teams in top 10 are fighting for european spots, so there is some violent fight there too.

    Current WC team..

    Mannone
    Koscielny - Coleman - Shaw
    Ozil - Hazard - Yaya - Silva
    Suarez - Lukaku - Adebayor (C)

    (Speroni - Januzaj - Turner - Chester)
    1.3 ITB.

Not in any rush to get back in Aguero - don't think he'll be back starting until the end of the month.
    Any thoughts on my side?

    Bit of a dilemma.

    A. Walcott > Ozil and Rooney > Adebayor

    or

    B. Walcott > Ozil and Ki > Warde-Prowse/Colback

    Has to be done tonight.

Silva always seems like a fpl disappointment, but looking at the 11 premier league games he's played this season, he's only failed to get a goal or assist in 3 of them. Which I thought was good.
