Welcome to this week’s Scout Picks Community Champion vote. Here’s a reminder of how this works. As part of our revamped Scout Picks, Mark, myself, Paul and a community champion picked by you each week are up against each other. All four teams are then used to decide our final weekly Scout Picks.

We are now looking for Gameweek 30’s Scout Picks Community Champion to represent you and get one over on The Scouts as well as be in with a chance of winning a special prize. The champion who manages the best Gameweek score (or best score from the first ten matches in a double Gameweek) will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

To put yourself forward simply add in your Gameweek 30 Scout Picks.

For everyone else please upvote the poster you would like to represent you based on their picks.

We only need 11 picks and please be mindful of the 84m budget. There’s no captain in the picks either and please stick to a designated FPL formation, including no more than three players from one team.

I’ll leave this vote open until 10am tomorrow (Wednesday) when I will announce the winner, who will be asked to submit their final XI plus 200 word explanation to me by 5pm Thursday.

Any attempts to disrupt the voting process may lead to the team involved being removed at our discretion. Also the comment section below is for those who want to present their teams and vote. If you have any suggestions on how the Scout Picks can be improved further next year please email me at jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk rather than leave a comment below.

    Hey all,

I’ll try to keep my post brief. This is the team I’ve picked:

    Adrian
    Bertrand - Rose - Ivanovic
    Mane - Hazard - Silva - Sanchez
    Kane - Giroud – Benteke
    83.9m

We start at the back where I’ve picked 4 players who I think have great potential for clean sheets. While West Ham have been conceding recently I fancy them to get a clean sheet against a poor Sunderland side even with a new manager in place. The potential is there for save points too.

Rose, Bertrand and Ivanovic are all attacking full backs in teams that look likely to keep a clean sheet. Spurs obviously not as highly backed for clean sheets as the others but Rose is very attacking and expect him to nick some points.

In the midfield we have Mane who served me well last time up in the picks who has a plum fixture against Burnley. While Southampton aren’t scoring loads if they are he’s usually in the mix for points. I wanted an Arsenal midfielder and have opted to stick with Sanchez, hopefully he can convert some more of those shots he’s having in the box. Last 2 picks are Hazard and Silva both with decent fixtures this week and I think they’ll both be back in the points.

The stand out up front is the fact there’s no Aguero. I’ve instead gone for 3 players who have been in the goals more recently. Giroud is Mr Consistent right now and Sherwood seems to have got Benteke firing again and he’s also on pens. Last up we have mr dependable and low price enabler Sir Harry Kane.

Nah, i don't think it's a rule or anything. Just think it's fair enough really, as lots want to do it and submit their teams each week. Only really a limited number of weeks in the season, so seems more than fair for it to be a once a season thing as it allows others to get an opportunity to have their turn.

Nothing against your team as it's obviously very good, hence the 6 votes. Just my opinion

Even included Ospina who I thought about after. Only difference then is Sakho instead of Benteke.

Ozil has taken the central role since his return which is limiting sanchez to a 'balancer' role where he is more restricted to the flank. Ozil is getting into good positions and had clear opportunities against west ham to score. Newcastle's makeshift defence will struggle with Ozil's movement.

That's great to hear. I have Oz myself and was struggling to justify not swapping him out. Will hold him for now. That earns you a +1.

Although I would suggest Forster over Guzan (budget allowing).

    Courtois

    Ivan - Terry - Bertrand

    Silva - Mane - Siggy - Downing

    Giroud - Kane - Aguero

    (82,9)

    Chelsea - clean sheet incoming
Bert - clean sheet likely. Attacking points possible + bonus possible
Mane - the main goalscoring outlet for Soton
Siggy - Swansea's main attacking outlet and on set pieces.
Silva & Aguero - always dangerous
Giroud - vs depleted Newcastle defence
Downing - this is the week he returns to form
    Kane - no explanation needed.

    A vote would be awesome.

    Ospina
    Bertrand/Ivanovic/Terry
    Eriksen/Sanchez/Mane/Hazard
    Sakho/Kane/Giroud

    Ospina - Newcastle missing Cisse
Bertrand - great potential for CS and attacking returns
    Ivan/Terry-see Bertrand above
Eriksen/Kane-Playing Leic who has conceded 2nd most SiB away from home in last 3 weeks
Mane-more SiB vs Chelsea away than Silva vs Leic last week. Might play behind striker again.
Hazard - on penalties, 4 goals in his lat 5 away games
    Sanchez- Newcastle defence in tatters
Sakho- playing at home vs a team that has just appointed a manager called Dick...most SiB(16) of all the strikers at home the last 3 weeks. Sun have conceded 2nd most SiB away from home the last 3 weeks.
Giroud - Newc potentially missing Colo again and besides 4 goals in his last 4 for Giroud

    Cost 82.3

Vote for me, because I don't have Silva or Aguero.

    My Scout Picks;

    Hart (WBA)
Alderweireld (BUR) Azpilicueta (hul) Rose (LEI)
Cazorla (new) Mane (BUR) Coutinho (MUN) Hazard (hul)
Kane (LEI) Giroud (new) Aguero (WBA)

    = £83.4m

Joe Hart seems the most secure route into the City backline who I expect to keep a shut out against a West Brom team low on goals on the road, don't expect many goals here after a midweek away trip for City but Aguero is sure to be amongst it and looks an essential part of my three man strike force.

I've also doubled up on four more teams, Tottenham's Harry Kane is a must have at home to Leicester and Danny Rose provides a cheap defender with a strong chance of a clean sheet with plus attacking threat at from the back.

Southampton play Burnley at home with Toby Alderweireld proving a cheap route into the leagues meanest defence and Sadio Mane impressing away at Chelsea in the previous gameweek.

I fancy Chelsea to make light work of Hull City away with Eden Hazard impressing in recent away fixtures and Azpilicueta expected to keep his place in the defence.

Arsenal provide my last double up away to a beleaguered Newcastle, Olivier Giroud is the man in form at a great price and he is teamed up with Santi Cazorla who has had his rest and rolls up with excellent form and set pieces in his armour.

My punt pick is Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho. Hard to know how this game will go but Liverpool will be desperate for the win against their local and top four rivals and the little magician lit up the recent game at Anfield against the blue side of Manchester, i'm hopeful he can repeat the trick here.

Thanks for looking, soz if it was a bit long winded!

    Ospina (new)

    Alder(BUR) Zouma(hul) Bertrand(BUR)

Mane (BUR )Hazard(hul) Silva (WBA) Eriksen(LEI)

    Giroud(new) Kane(LEI) Kun (WBA)

    Total: 83.3

    - For my keeper, I went with Ospina who is up against a Newcastle without the suspended Cisse. They seem toothless lately and Arsenal have been solid as well.

    - In defense, I doubled up on Soton who are always reliable for CSs at home against the lesser teams. I also picked the Zouma as a cheap entry to Chelsea's defense. I think he will start given his form and the easiness of the fixture.

    - In midfield, I went with Mane who basically plays as a striker and has an easy fixture. Hazard needs no explanation. I am backing City to score big against WBA who are not that solid away from home so Silva will be the architect in chief. Eriksen plays against one of the worst defenses in the league and he will have the chance to shine and shoot from distance.

    - Everything Giroud touches now turns to gold and he is up against a Newcastle with a depleted defense. I don't think the midweek game will affect Arsenal's league form regardless of the outcome. Newcastle are too bad anyway. Kane will be back in the goals as Spurs try to put their worst performance of the season behind them. No better chance that Leceister at home. Aguero can't keep blanking can he. He will be in the goals as City destroy WBA to stay in 2nd place. They cannot afford more slips.

I didn't put any Villa or Westham players because I can't let 1 game sway me. It is too early to back Villa with attacking players just because they scored 4 against a woeful Sunderland. The same thing with Westham players. I expect Advocaat to have a big influence on Sunderland instantly. He will tighten things at the back for starters. Many are getting carried away by how bad Sunderland were against Villa. Westham are in dire form themselves.

This is the team I've chosen :

    Ospina
    Alderweireld-Terry-Naughton
    Hazard-Silva-Ozil-Sigurðsson-Mane
    Kane-Giroud-Sakho

    Total : 83.6

    Reasons :

We start at the back with four players who I think offers great clean sheet potentials this week. To start with, Arsenal at home has enough defensive qualities to produce a clean sheet against a very mediocre Newcastle attack.

Alderweireld offers a cheap route to a fantastic Southampton defense, which certainly has more than enough defensive strength among their ranks to keep Burnley at bay. Terry and Naughton provides both clean sheet and attacking potential up against Hull and Villa respectively.

In the midfield I’ve opted for Ozil as my Arsenal midfielder of choice because I think Newcastle’s makeshift defense will leave lots of space trying to contain Sanchez and Giroud, and the German playing centrally is more than capable of exploiting that. Next is Mane, who has a plum fixture against Burnley and while Southampton haven’t been scoring much lately, but he will be pivotal if they are to. Sigurðsson also has great potential for attacking returns with his dead ball duties against a Villa side with a less than mediocre defense. The last two picks are Hazard and Silva both with decent fixtures this week and I think they’ll both be in points.

In attack, I’ve gone for Giroud who is looking hungry for goals and against a very poor Hull defense his appetite looks set to be fulfilled. Finally, both Kane and Sakho against Leicester and Sunderland respectively looks primed for returns as well. The exclusion of Aguero is due to his poor form ever since he came back from injury and up against Tony Pulis’ West Brom, I don’t see him breaking out of it.

This is my first ever post for Scout Picks article, thanks for reading it.

    Gonna give this a shot.

    Forster
    Bert - Terry - Ivan
    Hendo - Siggy - Hazard - Mane
    Giroud - Aguero - Kane

    Defence:

Doubling on the doubles at the back with Forster + Bert and Terry + Ivan Milat. Expecting both sides to keep a cleanie and the big man Ivan to get a goal/assist.

    Mids:

Hendo, Siggy and Mane all look dangerous at the moment, and are easy cheapies to slot into any side.
Hazard is a given vsing Hull.

    Forwards:

Giroud - Hitting some consistency, should slide 1 or 2 past a depleted Newcastle

Aguero - Cappy Kun is due for a haul, come on son!

Kane - Sir Harold is facing the bottom of the table team, expecting a few right bumper B finishes from the great man.

    Team value: 83.7
