Moreno > PVA worth a hit? Or play Duff at home to Stoke?

Tough one, as PVA could easily get 2/3 points if Leicester score.

George Boyd is going to score this week, isn't he. Hazard rested, Stoke at home, the stars aligned. But nobody will have him first sub.

It looks like I might be stuck with Sterling for another week :/

Hazard and Vardy to Rambo/Ozil and Defoe, for free? Gives me 6 DGW.

Plan to get in Silva, Ulloa or Cisse in 38.

I prefer that, Vardy isn't bad to have for GW38, whereas Defoe I doubt you'd play

I'd probably do Defoe to Ulloa or Cisse! I just fancy Sunderland to do something in front of goal.

    I'll try again -

    GW37 -

    Panti (Kasper)
    Skrtel / Terry / Ivan / PvA / (Morgan)
Hazard / Alexis / Ramsey (Henderson / Grealish)
    Kun / Kane / Benteke

Who should my 3rd Arsenal be? Was considering Giroud now thinking Koscielny or Bellerin

If so should I downgrade Ivan or Skrtel? Kosciely worth the extra over Bellerin?

    Cheers

It was my plan from GW34 to have him as my third Arsenal, but his form is worrying. I'm also thinking he might be rested one of the games with Wenger talking about Theo as a striker - and the possibility of Welbeck returning

No of course not but obviously the manager knows this and the team will be working on what is going wrong and the way kane has been playing his drout cant go on forever. the team will be as 1 again. didn't we all say this about Aguero when he went through his dry patch? now he is the best thing since sliced bread. I stuck in there and i will do it again with the Kane..All IMO

As promised, here is the list of nominations for GKs to make up our Bargain Basement Cult Hero XI of 2014/15.

The rules are simple. The GK must have started with a price of no more than 5m so you're voting for your favourite cheap players of this season. If I've left anyone out feel free to add their name, so long as they meet the price criteria

    Fabianski
    Forster

      Schmeichel.

The epitome of a cult success. Most of his owners only got him because of Sunderland's blank, and he has delivered an outrageous run of form the likes of which has not been seen from a budget keeper in a long time.

Forster fits the bargain basement bill, but not the cult one. There's nothing cult about picking a good value consistent keeper from the league's second best defence.

Not the best player, or the most points, or the best value, but cult hero has to be Schmeichel for me for giving nothing all season and then hitting unbelievable form just when people wanted him for the DGW. Hero for owners, troll for non-owners.

Myhill a close second for being the 4.0 non-playing keeper that actually played and scored ridiculous points on your bench.

If the Bargain Basement Cult Hero XI and the FFS Team of the Season were decided purely on total points, there would be no need for us to vote for our favourite players.

Other factors should also be taken into account in both cases. Fabianski deserves to be a strong contender for both - I voted for Panti because he's done pretty well for me and I haven't owned Fabianski. He was also 0.5m cheaper than Fabianski and has a fractionally better PPG - and it wasn't his fault that he wasn't selected till GW10.

      Terry, Toby, PVA
      Hazard, Sanchez, Ramsey, Silva,
      Aguero, Benteke, Giroud

Hamer, Wasi, Albrighton, Bruce - (will play Wasi over PVA next week)

Should I go diff captains? Ramsey over Sanchez this week? Tekkers GW 38?

      B. Looks like he's nailed on for now given his recent performances. If Kane can't do the job against Hull in last home game of the season.......sigh.

I'm making getting Silva in a priority for this week for a (-4), is that unwise? Should I be focusing on getting in a Sunderland attacker?

I've got Koscielny, Sanchez, Ramsey and van Aanholt.

    1. Shifty
      • 10 Years
      8 years, 12 months ago

think that's plenty. Silva has the form so I would go for him. Helps with the ML situation too if you're leading.

    2. Eze Really?
      • 9 Years

I think anyone overloading with Sunderland players, defenders in particular have to consider GW38 and having 3 of them leaves a Chelsea away game where one would not want any to play. I am no expert at this game but for the sake of a DGW where scoring can be less than 4 having Arsenal in one game and an in for Leicester in the other would be wise when GW38 will be limited in choice for players; considering rotation risks also.

      1. Ruth_NZ
        • 9 Years

I will have 3 and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. If Sunderland have a good week I may win in the lottery, if not I have double appearance points.

One will leave in GW38 and the other two will be benched. All my bench players are good so I have nothing to worry about at all.

My GW38 team will probably look something like this:

        Schmeichel
        Vlaar Terry Schlupp
        Sanchez Cleverley Fabregas Cambiasso Hazard
        Aguero Giroud

        Ospina Skrtel Wickham PvA

The only question for GW 38 will be Cleverley, Young or Ki for the 5th midfield slot or take a -4 and bring Big Ben in to play instead.

Swansea away not the easiest fixture I think. They were defensively tight against arse last night and might pull of the same against City.

Historically the swans are very good against City. No way I would get Silva for a hit this week. It will very probably be a low scoring affair.

    Schmeichel (Davis K.)
    PvA, Terry, Schlupp (Duff, McShane)
    Hazard, Sanchez, Ramsey, Silva
    Vardy Aguero Giroud

    0.0m left, 1FT.

    - Considering a Davis K. -> Panti move for the DGW.
Thoughts? Also, play Schlupp or Duff?
