United and QPR have worries over their first-choice stoppers as we assess the weekend’s new injury concerns for the final time this season. It’s fair to say that, this time round, the injuries have been kept to a minimum.

Aston Villa
Kieran Richardson missed Villa’s 6-1 thrashing at Southampton due to a calf complaint.

Man United
David de Gea was replaced during this afternoon’s draw with Arsenal after sustaining a hip injury.

QPR
Rob Green was forced off with a head knock after colliding with team-mate Joey Barton during the R’s home win over Newcastle.

Sunderland
Billy Jones was replaced late on in the Black Cats’ goalless draw with Leicester due to a muscle problem.

Swansea
Ki Sung-Yeung missed Swansea’s home clash with City after undergoing minor knee surgery in time to be fit for the start of next season.

West Ham
James Collins was withdrawn early on against Everton due to a leg problem, the Hammers have confirmed. Kevin Nolan missed out due to a family bereavement.

      same boat PPU. Made so much sense pre deadline. Logic was there - if we had to choose between the 2 to sell for Arsenal mid, it had to be Silva. All signs pointed to Hazard starting both games and he is explosive while Silva had 2 tricky fixtures against stubborn teams.

      Top 10k (which is a pretty accurate reflection of the top 100k as well) would be something like 80% Hazard, 60% Terry and 40% Ivan I think (iirc from fpldiscovery)

    That Transfer News about Crystal Palace’s best players got me thinking about Jason Puncheon.

    Currently sitting on 125 points, the 6.0 priced Midfielder just 6 points short of beating last season's 131 pts (highest). The season before he got 110 pts. This shows that he's a steady source of points - if given the right minutes - arguably flying under the radar. And he achieved this feat despite the breakthrough season of Bolasie (129 points - similar minutes; I doubt he'll be priced 5.5 again next year) and the return of Zaha (why must I mention him?).

    In short I think he's a very reliable source of points in FPL and given the high possibility of inflating prices next season, he could be our guy for the elusive 4th midfield slot. Just saying.

      Yeah but I think his scores are far too spaced out, even if in a good system under Pardew his returns are something like 12, blank, blank, blank, 12, blank, blank (repeat)

        Point taken. But we had the same situation with Siggy - almost at least. Very attacking and on some set pieces. But iagine him playing in such system under Pardew from the start - I would be tempted. Hopefully fixtures are with CRY for early next season.

        3rd is hard to take imo, meaning you'll have cheaper mids in your team (i.e the 5.0s and 4.5s). Unless you go with 2 6.0 mids which is a decent strategy.
